"Started in 1797, London’s oldest cheesemongers continue to work with independent producers in both British and Continental regions, producing cow, goat and ewe’s milk varieties. Their award-winning shop offers an incredible selection of the rarest and best cheese, and ages its rounds to perfection in cellars underneath Jermyn Street. Great cheese sandwiches, though they run out fast at lunchtime." - dn&co.
A proper cheese shop with knowledgeable and very helpful staff. They can offer advice if you’re not sure what to buy. Good quality chutneys and cheese accessories also available. Recommended.

Most agreeable selection of cheeses to be sampled here, with a good knowledge that comes from a love of the product. Small but extremely tasteful, its easy to spend more than you intend

Nice shop - but they cannot explain why 1 cheese called epoisse costs 16.95 pounds in Paxton and 6.95 in Marks& Spencer round the corner - they were not able to answer that question - prices are a COMPLETE RIP OFF in this shop - dont shop there

Carlsberg don't make neighbourhood cheesemongers, but if they did, it would be Paxton and Whitfield.
