We first stayed at Paya Beach Resort in 2014 and have returned many times since. After trying other accommodations on Tioman Island, we always come back here – it stands out for its balance between comfort, nature, and good service.||The resort is located right on the beach and also borders the rainforest, offering direct access to both sea and jungle. The surroundings are beautiful, with a well-kept garden and a clean, inviting swimming pool. Rooms are tidy, functional, and cleaned thoroughly every day. Everything you need is provided.||Staff are exceptionally friendly and professional, many of them long-term employees who clearly enjoy their work. Manager Simon is often on-site and always helpful.||There are plenty of activities available: kayaking, snorkeling, fishing, and jungle trekking to Rock Falls or Mother Willow. The on-site dive center, Divers Cove, is well-run, and the instructors – especially Raimi – are experienced and capable of teaching beginners.||The restaurant offers a broad selection of food, and the beachfront BBQ serves fresh seafood in the evenings. There are also a few small shops nearby with supplies and snacks at reasonable prices.||Wildlife is part of the experience – it’s common to see monkeys and monitor lizards around the resort. It’s a safe and natural part of the environment.||Overall, Paya Beach Resort combines a relaxed atmosphere with access to nature, solid amenities, and consistently good service. We will continue returning.||Martin, Sweden
