We loved our visit to Payten and Jones! Spent the afternoon enjoying some delicious wine tastings. It was a bonus that dogs are welcome inside.. A refreshing change, especially with the colder weather, as most places only allow dogs outdoors these days. The staff were warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. We left with a few bottles in hand and will definitely be back!

We had such a great experience at Payten and Jones. We came in for a wine tasting and were pleasantly surprised to find that our dog was welcome to sit inside with us, which is such a lovely and rare touch that made us feel right at home. Every wine we tasted was smooth and absolutely delicious, we genuinely couldn’t fault a single one. The variety and quality were outstanding, and the prices were very reasonable considering the standard. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout our visit, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Can’t recommend this place highly enough. Whether you’re a wine lover or just looking for a laid-back spot to enjoy a drink, this is a must visit.

Came on a whim because we were in the area, and were greeted with such friendliness by Emmanuel! So knowledgeable and informative of any questions we had and recommended the most delicious cider we've had in awhile (St Ronans Apple & Pear)! The orange wine went down so smooth too! We will definitely be back, this was so wonderful!

Fun and quirky wine tasting! Lovely staff and enjoyed the music and scenery. Almost reminded me of a berlin amongst other more traditional vineyards. Would recommend the Vermouth!

A phenomenal winery with a no-nonsense approach: wine is for drinking and enjoying, not for being stored away. Set in an industrial building with striking street art, the experience is down to earth and really enjoyable. The staff are incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and you can tell they love where they work. As to the wines, the VV Pinot Noir is sublime, unoaked and jam-packed with fruity notes whilst retaining the characteristic light body of a Pinot Noir - they certainly know what they're doing! Of the 4 wineries my partner and I visited throughout the day, Payten & Jones was head and shoulders above the rest, simple as that.

Loved this casual and unique winery. They had better wines and a nicer atmosphere than the pretentious winery we visited before it. The staff were friendly and informative. The wines had very unique flavours with very different labels.

Visited P+J's cellar door over easter weekend as part of the HopIt tour. By far our favourite stop. Really fun wines, every single one was a knock out (loved loved loved the Hollow bones chardonnay). Came back for another Vermut as it was so good. If you're anyway into low intervention or natural wines put this place on your list. Loved it.
