Quite an ugly hotel, ugly rooms, odd location.|Front desk staff pretty rude. One receptionist spoke to me with her mouth full of food. She could have cared less. On another occasion, I had to wait while 2 receptionists had finished their chit chat before they looked at me to see what I wanted. When I had finished and walked away they spoke to each other cattily about me thinking I would not understand.|The safe in my room was broken when I arrived. They failed to fix it correctly, it was broken again on Day 2 and again on Day 3.|The room key failed to work. They amended that with no apology.|The street bins were cleared at about 2:00am two nights when I was there. Incredibly noisy.|There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Shocking for a 4* hotel.|The room decor is very odd, and not welcoming. The room is pretty small.|There are no offerings in the little mini fridge. (There is a supermarket very near by, if you want water/beer/wine.)|The bathroom is very dark (dark brown/grey tiling). When I used the hand soap dispenser, the whole apparatus fell off the wall (it was only glued on). It remained lying prone on the counter-top for the remainder of my stay. (It turns out that others in my tour group had the same experience with their cheapie soap/lotion dispenser.)|The window in my room would open and then would not close again.|There is no documentation in the room to show how to ring the front desk from the room. For anyone unfortunate enough to stay in this hotel, I believe you ring ext 136 (if I remember correctly).|The breakfasts are very good. This is the one and only good thing I can think of to say about this hotel.|Overall, I really do not recommend it at all.

Customer service is poor, most of the staff is not very friendly. Food at the hotel restaurant is very pricy for what they serve. The tortellini were a joke and were priced at 16€. To take a fork/spoon to the hotel room you are charged an additional 2.50€. Rooms are okay but no toilet brush available.

Michel at front desk extremely rude and disrespectful. Horrible hotel and horrible service. We are gold members with expedia and apparently they are part of the program but he had no idea what it was. He was awful to deal with. Refused to give proper parking instructions. I asked for a manager and he refused. Maybe they are better to spanish speaking guests

The PCM Forum is situated in the (relative) center of Alcala de Henares. It is a new hotel, which is reflected in the ambiance and interior style. Is clean and quiet, close to the historic center of Alcala de Henares and reasonably priced. Definitely a good hotel.

I was at Torrejon Air Base for a conference, and I booked this hotel as it was the recommended choice; reviews looked OK too.||||Check in was easy; I was able to park my car outside as it was quiet and was able to sort out car parking at the same time too for 15 euros per night in the underground facility. Easy. Might be worth booking ahead though once busier times return.||||From the large central atrium (which has reception, a car hire franchise, lots of sofas, the bar and the evening dining room), there are three lifts to take your to your room. The current regulations are one person per lift, unless with friends or family.||||My room was a standard one, but more than adequate for me. It was clean, as was the bathroom, comfortable bed, easily sufficient storage area and a safe. Toiletries provided, and no issues with hot water. I didn't use the TV, and wifi was kind of average. Not much to sit on though, a chair by the desk, and really that was it. The top floor has the terrace; I was able to enjoy sitting up there one evening after work, but the bar was closed and on one afternoon, the terrace was actually all locked up. I guess this is all part of everything not being quite normal yet in these COVID times.||||Breakfast was sufficient. The dining room was laid out to try and maintain COVID compliance. So, a couple of cereal varieties, two types of pastry, do-nuts, toast, some fresh fruit and yoghurt, and the usual fare of cheese and cold meat. One coffee machine which was super-slow. But the staff worked hard to keep everything stocked, useful on my second morning as there was a conference on in the hotel and breakfast was really busy. I didn't use the bar or have dinner in the hotel. I never found if there was a fitness centre either, but the hotel is well positioned for running in the local area.||||Which brings me on to the best feature of the hotel; it's location. It is situated about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Alcala de Henares, a delightful town with history and a great selection of bars and places to eat. I was so glad I stayed here rather than central Madrid for a work trip: better value, less crowded; less traffic (although the adjacent A2 Madrid - Zaragoza highway is really really busy at rush hour) and has enough to see and places to eat / drink at the end of a working day. It's only 25 minutes from the airport too, making it really convenient, especially if you're working at Torrejon.||||And for those reasons, I'd happily stay here again.

Just changed name from the Rafael. Rooms are large and quiet but are starting to show some age. Breakfast is good but doesn't start early enough and sometimes can be very busy with coach parties. Just on the edge of town it's within walking distance of Calle major and plaza de Cervantes

The hotel is ok, it's clean and the bed is super comfortable. But the doors and some of the furnitures are a bit old. The breakfast is OK, divers, but very strange that there are no vegetables (tomatoes, cucumber etc). The WiFi is very bad.

We were surprised at the welcoming and briskly (but warm) professional foyer and service, especially as ours was a forbidding and motley crew. You'll have to endure a terrifyingly austere hallway when you step off the elevator, and resist a very real impulse to turn around and leave. You'll be glad you did! The rooms are warm, comfortable, and modern. Great value for the price!
