On the Grid : The Peach and the Porkchop

"The Peach and the Porkchop is an upscale Southern meets Northern-inspired restaurant in East Roswell. What does that mean? A good mix of entrees with roots and sandwiches with soul. It works. And can we talk about this decor? But the real thing that drew us to investigating and including The Peach and the Porkchop in our OTG collection ... boozy milkshakes. Unfortunately the Nimble. team consumed these before snapping a proper photo, but the JD shake (Jack & Honey Ice Cream with Jack Daniels)... 👍." - Nimble. Design Co.

Loved the food!! So many choices to pick from!!! Does this mean I have to go back so I can sample more??? That would be a definite! We were a party of 17 and NOT one person of our group from the age of 2 to the oldest of 85 (Birthday girl) had anything negative to say about the food OR the service. All positive comments with extras to take time since the portions are HUGE!! Prices are good for the amount of food you get. Our server was so sweet and so accommodating to a large demanding bunch of people. We will be back!!

Fun spot for lunch! Stopped in for a quick bite and it was great! The service was amazing! Our server was helpful and friendly! The Coca-Cola® Braised North Georgia Pork Belly was amazing!!! Great flavor and just plain delicious! Then we split a Brendon's Zimbo Dip which was equally good. The menu is huge and diverse! Highly recommend!!

We were here for a wedding reception for about 20 people. The atmosphere was relaxed and casual, very southern. The food was outstanding! Their biscuits are bigger than my head! :) All the portions were huge. Our server was spot on, despite the large group. The only negative was the coffee I ordered was lukewarm. Beyond that, I would love to go back and encourage others to experience this gem of a restaurant!

Update. Had the salmon this evening on 2.19.22 and partner had the pork chop. Both delicious! ------The best dining experience I've ever had! The servers make you feel welcome, the food is divine, in fact, so divine that I'd request the NY strip, as my last meal (1st restaurant to perfect my medium to well done request) served with spinach and perfectly seasoned potatoes, I also selected a side of the whipped sweet potatoes and wild mushrooms to my order, and with every bite, experienced tastebud heaven. The whipped sweet potatoes were light and fluffy and belongs on the dessert menu, speaking of desserts, I ordered the brownie, served with ice cream which was a perfect finish to a perfect meal. This restaurant, is a "must go to" if you're seeking a satisfying dining experience and enjoy high quality when it comes to food.

Make a reservation through open table. The whole menu is flavorful. The Big Salad is one that I would never take the 2 hours to chop all the variety of veggies, so I’m glad they do! Amazing! Sundays they have a brunch menu and the pickiest of kids will find something on their expansive kid’s menu. Not a place to go if you’re in a rush. The servers are friendly.

Amazing. Great food, the wait staff is phenomenal and will make you feel right at home. Bring your appetite and thirst. The drinks are stiff and awesome. Make sure to order the chips!

Brunch was excellent! Four of us started with beverages, the yummy Fried Green Tomatoes, Alyssa's Buffalo Chicken Dip and the House Chip w/Cheddar - all very good and portioned to share. For our mains, we had the P&P's Southern Jam (Fried chicken breast, bacon, goat cheese, Maxwell Farms Blueberry Jam on a biscuit served with fried hashbrown cake - Good Lort!), the Local Shrimp-N-Grits (smoked gouda, local grits, roasted jalapeños, grain mustard sauce, cherry tomatoes, roasted corn, wild mushrooms, bacon & shallots - so creamy and full of flavor!), the 8-Pop's B's & G's (2 biscuits with good ole sawmill sausage gravy w/fried chicken tenders - OMG!) and the Chicken Hoagie (w/ caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, jalapeños & provolone - huge, tender and delish). I love a good biscuit and they are to die for - big, light and fluffy! They have a huge menu that covers all the bases for b'fast, lunch, brunch or dinner and keep in mind that they have BOOZY MILKSHAKES! We didn't have room to get one this time so we'll be back, sooner than later!

The restaurant is nicely decorated and cozy. The service was very slow, it took us a little over 2 hours to eat brunch and while there were a few full tables, most of them were finishing up by the time we ready to order. The food was flavorful and well presented but took a long time to come out, almost and hour. They completely forgot my $8 side of P&P Mac 'n Cheese. Waiter was polite and friendly throughout but there were long periods where he just was no where to be found. May visit them again in future, maybe just not if we are in a time crunch. Really wanted to love it but it just didn't suffice the prices, forgetting a side and then such slow service.
