We were passing by and the place is very cozy and the ice creams are delicious. We ordered an affogato and a banana split, we were surprised by the portion of the banana we shared 4 people from a single order.

Great options of ice cream, smooth creamy and tasty. I had the Khalua coffee and tried my fiancé's peanut butter one and chocolate mousse and all were excellent. Friendly staff too! Highly recommended!

Great ice cream , good portions and excellent customer service. I love the outside seating area although it would be nice if they had a restroom instead of a port a potty.

My husband and I rented the ice cream truck for our wedding, and it was a big hit! Everyone raved about how delicious the ice cream was, and the kids enjoyed taking pictures in front of the truck! The owner Katarina was wonderful to work with! We started with an in person tasting where she recommended flavors and educated us about how the ice cream is made. She is passionate about her business and providing the highest quality product to her customers! She was in contact with us every step of the way to make for a seamless event! BEST ICE CREAM IN CT!!!

Eh. Expensive. Paid $25 for 4 ice cream scoops. I ordered Oreo, pretty sure it had one piece of Oreo in the whole scoop.

My husband and I passed Peaches and Cream a number of times and always vowed we'd try their ice cream. It's located in a sweet looking little house, has plenty parking and an outdoor area with tables for a real old fashioned icream parlor experience. Well, we were in the area two weeks ago and decided to give it a try. All I can say is wow. I ordered a small cone with one scoop of cherry vanilla. Not only was the scoop huge, the ice cream was a dream. Creamy, smooth and delicious! The girl who waited on us was friendly and asked if I wanted to try the Bordeau Cherry flavor and gave me a sample. I loved it so much, I went back the following week and had a huge single scoop in a sugar cone this time. Again, it was luscious and tasty, and again, served with a smile. I can't wait to try their other innovative ice cream flavors, as I mean to try them all. If you're an ice cream lover, do yourself a favor and give Peaches and Cream a try! Highly recommend!

The regular staff here are great, and for decades, this has been my go-to ice cream place. In fact, it’s the only place I eat ice cream anymore because I’m lactose intolerant—but the ice cream here was so good that I didn’t care. Whenever I’m back in Torrington to see family, I stop—sometimes twice a day. But now it feels like they’re slipping. Prices have gone up and no portions have gotten smaller. You can no longer get two different flavors in a “one-scoop” size. I’ve been eating their toasted almond for 20 years, and last time, it was just plain almond flavor. Then, I drove 10 hours R/T from Maine specifically in early July to get a specific sorbet flavor that is so tasty it makes me forget all about dairy. I usually get a larger quantity at this time of year(the only time of year they have it) and buy dry ice to pack it back with me so I can dish it out slowly. This year, I was told that the largest size they’ll pack sorbet in is quart ($15). I asked if I could place a special order for two half gallons ($20 ea) for the next time they were pouring. Turns out, they aren’t pouring any more this year. And besides, even if they did that, there would be a surcharge—no matter what, a gallon of this sorbet would cost me $60! SIXTY DOLLARS!! No exceptions. No discount for buying 4 quarts. $60 for a gallon of ice cream. That’s insane. Very disappointed that y seem more concerned with making money hand over fist on NYers with NY money rather than rewarding a literal lifetime of loyalty.

Ice cream quality is SO fresh and so good. From fresh chopped hazelnuts in the Nutella to fresh chunks of strawberries. They also had some different/ interesting flavors listed such as ginger and cannoli. Portion size is average. Staff were friendly. Layout inside is a little odd with where the flavors section sits out of view and where they have the line starting but the ice cream gets bought all the same. Nice outdoor area to sit. Based on ice cream quality would definitely come again.

This has been on my list for so long! I finally was able to stop last week after shopping in Torrington! It was close by!! They have a great location with both outdoor and indoor seating. They have a variety of homemade ice cream with flavors I haven't heard of before! I got two scoops in a waffle cone and it was so so delicious! I can't wait to go again!

They sell a nice variety of regular, sugar-free, dairy-free ice cream, and sorbets. I scanned their menu board for flavors and saw some cool ones like Cannoli, Chocolate Raspberry Mousse, Peanut Butter Caramel Fudge, Amaretto Almond, Cantaloupe Coriander (Sugar Free ), and Cranberry Walnut. Our two small cups of Nutella ice cream with toasted hazelnuts and Sugar Free Cantaloupe Coriander were under $11. Chocolate sprinkles were $0.75 which is on the high side. We had ice cream last week at Two Sisters in Simsbury and their sprinkles were free. I really loved my Cantaloupe ice cream. Great flavor and it was chock full of real cantaloupe pieces throughout. It reminded me so much of the Cantaloupe Italian ices I used to enjoy as a kid growing up in the Bronx. Peaches and Cream has an outdoor sitting area for maybe half a dozen tables, and that's where we sat and enjoyed our ice cream.

Great place with wonderful staff and great ice cream! We visit this shop every time we visit the area. Multiple family members absolutely love the peach flavored ice cream.

Ice cream had no discernible taste (cannoli). The chocolate chips were not real chocolate. I requested a sundae. The whipped cream was over whipped (curdled) with no taste and the hot fudge was.....not sure what it was. Two sundaes cost $18.50 and was, not only overpriced, but totally not worth it. You must have better ways to spend your money.

It was our first trip to Peaches for this summer and we were so sad to go away disappointed. The owners had put a lot of thought into the outside and inside seating. Making it cute, clean, and comfortable for customers. However, the ice cream seemed tasteless more like a grocery store-bought ice cream-nothing special. My xsmall mint chocolate chip cup had 5 chocolate chips in it and very little minty taste to it. The shy, uncertain staff had trouble understanding my husband's request for an ice cream sandwich made with vanilla ice cream. He explained to her it was made with chocolate wafer cookies and vanilla ice cream between the cookies. She interpreted his request as having both vanilla & chocolate ice cream and they would make it this time but not in the future..???? Perhaps IF THEY DROPPED THE MUSIC VOLUME DOWN it would be easier to understand customers? As we sat inside eating our treats an upset customer was speaking to the owner about a past ice cream sundae order that was not made to order. The customer said she requested "hot fudge" and got, "Hershey's syrup"-customer's words. Over and over the owner (or ? manager) said it had to be the ice cream was requested wrong. I found it disturbing the owner just didn't say, "Sorry" and move on to their order. The owner ("manager) finally said to ask for her and she will make their next order next time so it will be made correctly. And an xsmall cup and an ice cream sandwich was $11.27, a bit steep in my estimation. Thank you.

Very cute ice cream shop with a retro feel and a delicious taste. All of their ice cream is made in-house, and they have a large selection of flavors. Additionally they are generous with their portions. The ice cream consistency is fantastic (very creamy!) and the add in's are very fresh, but I would prefer if they had some more add in's in their different flavors. For example, I tried the chocolate chip and, although the flavor was great, there weren't that many chocolate chips in it. The chocolate chips that it did have were real chunks of chocolate however. Also, I got my ice cream in a waffle cone and it was solid There is ample seating both inside and out. 8.5/10

My wife and I went today for the first time in probably 20 years - that I remember it well at all from 20 years ago! Nice little place with Lots of flavors from which to choose. We each ordered the small cup which was more than enough after just having had dinner. The ice cream and service were both good. The ice cream is average...certainly better than super market but not better than most of the "dairy farm" ice cream places that have popped up everywhere. Would I go back - for sure.

My son loves this place and used to frequent while he worked in Torrington. He knew immediately what he wanted and got the peaches and cream in a waffle cone. I had to sample to write this review. It was so creamy and fresh and you could really taste the peaches! I ordered a small cup of Heath bar. It was a bit lack luster. I couldn't taste the toffee at all the bits were so small. The line moved quickly and staff was friendly.

Best ice cream in Litchfield County (yes, I know about the other one). Great waffle cones, plenty of flavor options, super premium ice cream, old-fashion parlor....what else can you expect out of a place?!? My go-to is sweet cream chip and chocolate mousse in a waffle cone.

If you're a local and came here when Mr. Redente owned the business, you won't like what it's become. It stinks of out of towner. They do not even let you try a flavor before ordering, which the owner told me was "because of COVID." No one was wearing masks or rubber gloves so it isn't clear to me how it's related or relevant now that mask restrictions have ended. If I had been able to try Nutella hazelnut before I ordered, I would not have gotten it. It is basically vanilla ice cream with a few specks of Nutella and a couple hazelnuts. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking to taste Nutella in the ice cream. Overall, I was disappointed to see one of my childhood favorites ruined and turned into a destination that caters to the out of town crowd.

Delicious homemade ice cream. My hot fudge sundae was amazing and hit the spot! We have ordered ice cream cakes here in the past for my children's birthdays and they are a hit every time! Totally customizable and really delicious. I love their homemade hot fudge sauce too!!

This is a cute establishment, one of those places that has been there for "forever". The mint green paint job definitely was popular in a different age, but fits with the decor and feeling. They have flavors of regular ice cream and sorbet, and the prices are reasonable. I received a huge cone with lots of ice cream (referred to as a double) for $6.25 plus tax. There is plenty of outdoor seating in front of the building and along the side, and doggy cones are apparently available!

Ice cream is amazing and fresh! The decorations inside were beautiful and the place was incredibly clean. There is nice outdoor seating! The staff is extremely friendly and understanding!

My husband and I went out for lunch up in Litchfield. On our way home to Torrington I suggested we stop by for a treat. We've driven by it a few times and was always curious. Inside was beautiful! It was very clean and they had tons of flavors to choose from! I honestly couldn't make up my mind. I ended up getting Kaluah coffee and my husband had almond almaretto. Both were delicious! The girl that helped us lacked a little personality and knowledge. Was a pretty good experience, would come back. It probably wouldn't go out of our way.

Had the Bordeaux cherry so glad I did, excellent ice cream with plenty of cherries. Great local spot where you can eat outside, plenty of flavors.

Definitely not what it used to be. Gave it 3 tries and I'm done. Oreo ice cream....not a piece of Oreo cookie to be seen in an entire cup. It--as well as Peanut Butter--just tasted like vanilla. Peanut butter caramel fudge was equally disappointing. For these prices, these cups/cones should be chock full of stuff. I'm way better off getting a pint of Ben & Jerry's, which I know will be exactly as advertised and costs less. To the owner/manager: I'm assuming you're not aware...I suggest telling your staff not to play music with the word f**k" in the lyrics. Totally inappropriate and I can't believe I have to even mention it.

I got an ice cream cake for an adult's birthday and was very pleased. It was delicious and reasonably priced. We will remember this place for the future. Thanks!

Every flavor of ice cream I have tried here has been delicious and the best part is they're located right down the street from my job so I get to go all the time

My kiddos (and their friends) and I have enjoyed this fantastic Ice Cream shop for years. It not only has the best Ice Cream in the area, but the shop itself is quaint and reminiscent of an old time Ice Cream shop. They have a fantastic selection of Ice cream flavors, do some seasonal flavors each year, and also offer Ice cream sodas, floats, Sundaes, and many topping choices. They also have Ice Cream in tubs to take home and some small "old-timey" snacks, candies, and gum. The hours are really good and sometimes they are open at the most unsuspected times, later than posted at times, which is always a good surprise! The prices are reasonable, I am sure some would say a bit on the higher end, but the quality is so good it is worth it. The lady who (I believe0 is the owner and all the staff are always very pleasant, and the service is very good as well. If I had any small issue at all, I would say it would be great if they did try some brand new flavors. As mentioned above, there are some seasonal flavors that come and go, but never anything brand new and I do think that would be a great addition to an already incredible place. Some notable flavors are our favorites: Banana, Coconut, Toasted Almond and Peppermint around the Holidays, I don't believe we've ever had any flavor that wasn't very good as well. Highly recommended, a really great and groovy place!

If you are looking for "old time" feel of an soda shoppe or old ice cream joint -- this is it!!!! Ice cream sodas, amazing ice cream flavors, fresh baked items, coffee, 50 and 60s music, and more!!! There is lots of seating on the side of the shoppe, in front and inside. The line is huge but it moves fast. It proves that they are amazing and have amazing ice cream. It's a must visit place in CT.

Delicious ice cream, handmade fast service friendly people very popular place but they don't have anything for lactose intolerant people which I really wish they did because now I can't go there anymore.

This place has some of the best ice cream ever. You can choose a simple flavor like chocolate and feel like you are on another planet. You can enjoy any flavor and do a happy dance. I especially like the pumpkin, it's got just enough flavor and just delicious!

Is the Avett ice cream lover peaches n' cream is a great place to go for Icecream! They have flavors such as vanilla ranging to peppermint stick and other fun flavor that are absolutely delicious too! They make their own hot fudge and it is so good honestly I could probably eat it by the pint!

I have been going here since I was in grade school and it never disappoints 40+ years later. So many flavors and options. Nice outdoor seating. You come out of this place smelling amazing (like a waffle cone) and everyone is smiling!

Wonderful ice cream and lovely people who run it. The other ice cream place is famous because there was a NYT article about them a few years ago, but the locals know Peaches and Cream as the best hand-made ice cream in the area. Let your taste-buds decide, not the marketing hype.

This past weekend I went to pick up my daughters ice cream cake to celebrate her birthday that evening but whomever had taken the phone request a week earlier apparently made an error as to the type of cake we had asked for. Katerina the owner immediately came over and acknowledged the error and was so gracious in working out a solution. Mistakes happen and what makes a great business is how they go about working with the customer to find a solution and Katerina certainly did that! She went above and beyond to make sure that my daughter had a great cake and the other guests would enjoy amazing ice cream as well. I would highly recommend Peaches N' Cream as Katerina runs a great business as she knows how to do the right thing so her customers keep coming back!

I'm not sure what the hype is here. Maybe the only local homemade ice cream joint? Maybe nobody has had ice cream before. The flavors are traditional and simple and the actual flavor is minimal to average at best. The prices however are ridiculous for the quality and quantity. My wife loves her ice cream and did not care for this as well. Once was plenty for us.

I was so happy I was going to be in the area to try Peaches N' Cream. It came highly recommended from the CT Ice Cream Tour and a friend from Torrington. The chocolate raspberry mousse was AMAZING... I really loved it, very different from anything I've had. The whipped cream is freshly whipped and delicious as well (a real weakness for me) and they are not shy with the amount! So glad I got to try it for myself!

This ice cream stop is delightful and the staff is always kind. They have a few dairy free options and they have many wonderful flavors to choose from. I also love the vintage inspired decor.

Their ice cream is amazing. My 5 year old wanted ice cream on our way back from Kent falls and my wife just did a quick internet search for nearest ice cream places and this popped up. We drove up there without any expectations but were amazed with the quality and flavors they had. Highly recommend the coconut and black raspberry flavors..

Vegan options finally in Litchfield! Need I say more? The "other" scoop shops in town failed to adapt and so we will remain loyal to peaches and cream. More vegan milk based options pretty please!

This place is such a delight to visit. They're a small business and have so many options for flavors, toppings, and even sizes to get. My stomach often gets bothered by dairy, especially for some reason when it comes to ice cream, but Peaches N' Cream has amazing sorbets and sherbets- I highly recommend the blueberry or lemon, and they're actually an awesome combo in a waffle cone. Also, they're really fairly priced! Can't wait to visit this year when the weather's warmer.

The ice cream was soooooo delicious! And I'm a really big ice cream fan! If you're remotely close, find it and go there. You won't be disappointed.

This place is excellent. Adorable aesthetic, I love the plants inside and the patio. Lots of options for flavors and toppings. I got a Bordeaux cherry Sundae-delicious. It wasn't too sweet and there were big chunks of cherry. My boyfriend got a banana split, which is a deal because it comes with 3 toppings and 3 scoops of ice cream. He got the Bordeaux cherry (after trying mine) as one of the 3. He also got the coconut ice cream, which was delicious, and peanut butter ice cream and peanut butter sauce. I don't like peanut butter anything but he loved it. They also have coffee and tea and bottled water. Highly recommend.

First time ever coming to this place but definitely won't be our last!! They have a wonderful selection of delicious ice creams and sorbets! They even have some ice cream just for the adults however, I do wish that they would turn down their sugar level by just a notch or two and let the fruits' natural sugars sweeten the cream but otherwise, I would definitely still come for more! Plus, they offer different kinds of cones!!! We ended up ordering just an extra waffle cone to scoop out our ice cream. loved that! the place is conveniently located along route 202 with ample parking spaces. I love quaint family owned businesses like this!!! So much character and warmth that franchisees lack. More reason to support local businesses! Lastly, I believe they're open year round!!!
