This Persian market is an absolute gem! They have amazing prices and carry unique items you won’t find at regular supermarkets. Their fresh fruits and veggies are super affordable, and the restaurant in the back is run by the nicest people. I got the $10.99 beef kabob skewer, and it was such a great deal—enough for two meals! Forget fast food and support this place instead. The food is fresh, healthy, and absolutely delicious.

My favorite is the halal options, of those I love flat chicken kabob, and the chicken sharma on pita 🥙 with French fries. This is hidden gem of Encinitas the owners are sweet elderly Persian couple who truly love cooking delicious food for others.

Peachy’s Market is a gem. Not only can you get great produce here, there’s a wide selection of specialty groceries. We ordered two gyros with fries at the counter as well as some hummus and pita. The gyros were juicy and full of meat with pickles, lettuce, onions, and tomato. The tzatziki sauce was creamy, full of herbs, and fresh. The fries were crispy and tasted fresh with the perfect amount of salt. The hummus was creamy and well balanced between the tahini and chick peas. The texture was a little on the wet side which is perfect for clinging to the soft and chewy pitas. I also found some great sugar cubes with cardamom and saffron as well as some caviar spread. The dolmas were also fresh and juicy as well. We will definitely be back!

Google
Ordered for pick up arrived and because it want picked up on time they gave away the order and said it would be another 1 1/2 hours for a new order. A call would have been nice or at least let the customer know that if you’re not here on time your food is given away. Poor communication.

Google
Can’t go wrong here. Chicken skewers are juicy and perfectly seasoned. Shwarma is excellent. Hardest part will be not tearing it open and eating it on the way home

Google
Great market. Im going every week now. I want to try a falafel next week.

Google
The guy over the counter was extremely rude! We ordered chicken soup and kabob, and when I asked him for beef koobideh, he looked at me like an idiot! I repeated ground beef kabob, and he gave me another look and said which number? I said it's my first time here, and I looked and chose a number! It didn't end there! They gave me only the kabob, and when I asked for the soup, he said with an angry tone, I didn't charge you for the soup! I was surprised because the reaso. I was there to get the soup! I showed him the receipt, and he realized he charged us for it in the first place! Still gave me the soup with anger and a very rude behavior! It is so unacceptable to treat customers like this!

Google
I used to love going here every week! The service is awesome, and you can shop while waiting for your food. It’s a great place to buy really good produce. It has tons of Persian/middle eastern snacks and foods to order. Overall a great place and a cute small market.

Yelp
The meats here are indeed very juicy, Chargrilled veggies are delicious and Rice is great. I loved the pita and the fresh salad. I also enjoy the market - they have Persian ice cream, Turkish delight, a couple of other treats you'd have to look around to get. One day I was craving a gyros pita and fries / salad for lunch. Hit the spot. Definitely a good amount of meat in the pita. Don't need to buy a second extra container of tzatziki, but I was feeling indulgent.

Yelp
Delicious takeout although a special request was ignored. Reasonably priced produce. Lots of dried fruits and other middle eastern groceries.

Yelp
No pictures this time but the food remains phenomenal. This place is tucked into a corner of a not-so-interesting mini-mall. However, judging by the number of customers on a random Sunday night, the secret is clearly out. The food is prepared fresh to order, it is reasonably priced, you get a ton of it, and it is incredibly delicious. I highly recommend getting the combo skewers of ground chicken and ground beef. Remember that "ground" chicken and "ground" beef are NOT the same when it comes to Persian food as it means in America. The chicken and beef are not ground up and served to you in bits at all; but they are highly seasoned. The combo comes with a ton of rice and a small but very fresh and excellent salad. Also, make sure to get the hummus appetizer; the hummus is obviously made fresh and so is the pita. You order at the back of the shop but most of the building is occupied by a market. There is a lot of interesting Persian and other Middle Eastern foods to browse and buy while you wait for your food to be prepared. Highly recommended for very authentic and excellent food.

Yelp
We came for lunch and ordered the gyro plate and the chicken and beef kabob combo. The gyro was good with fries, a little warm though because it was just sitting there and they didn't call our number. The beef kabob had good flavors and the chicken was chicken breast which was good and juicy. Small market, limited tables inside and outside. Tight parking lot. Good food!

Yelp
Never judge a book by its cover... the location doesn't do this spot justice. Inside this little market is some of the best Greek food you will have! It's authentic, fresh and delicious! Service is super friendly as you place your order at the counter. This spot is to go only- nowhere to eat there, but you can peruse the aisles as you wait for your food. My only wish is they would deliver on DoorDash or similar- would be great to have it delivered!

Yelp
I had high hopes for this wrap. I was starving and craving a good Middle Eastern wrap. But what I got instead was two skewers of ground beef (I ordered an extra skewer) wrapped in a tortilla filled with lettuce, chopped onions, and tomatoes that was heavily dressed in a mustard dressing. It was basically a Big Mac wrapped in a tortilla. There weren't even any Persian pickles in the wrap/burrito. What a disappointment. They sell lavash in the store, so I'm not sure why they didn't use lavash for their wraps.

Yelp
We ordered a familly pack to go. The place clean and the workers were friendly and helpful. We got the family pack #2 and it served more than 6 people. It was fresh and delicious! If you like crispy rice ask for the tahdig. I'm drooling thinking about having this again.

Yelp
A great Encinitas favorite. Great small grocery and deli which also offers catering services. For a backyard dinner with some friends, I ordered the large catering combo for 4-6 people more than enough food for 8 people, and everyone was happy.
google avatar

Hitomi N.

Yelp
The food was so good! The food was fresh, hot and plentiful. The service was friendly and fast. We sat outside with our combo plates.
google avatar

Yelp
I only come here for the hot food (usually kebobs) and rice. And it has been awesome every single time.

Yelp
Peachy's is a small market with deli and hot Mediterranean food in back off El Camino Real. Occasionally I will order online and pick up lunch. I usually get a shawarma or beef kebab wrap. It is about $12 with tax and comes in a side of fries (shoestring) or salad. They are great for catering as well and fairly reasonably priced, definitely better than Luna Grill. Parking lot is small.
google avatar

Dustin H.

Yelp
Clean store, great service. Very friendly employees that serve exceptional Mediterranean meals.

Yelp
Love the food for takeout! The chicken kebab plates are delicious. The food here is fresh and a good price. We like the yellow rice

Hugh J.

Yelp
We were just driving around yesterday with no real destination and decided to check it out. Damn we are glad that we did. We loved the store and more so we LOVED the food. We got one white meat chicken screwer and one shawarma. Both were great and can't wait to go back and try other dishes. Employees were also great!

Yelp
Peachy's is my go-to place for delicious and healthy food. Their plates are the perfect blend of protein, veggies, and carbs that leave you satiated for hours. Their plates with chicken and ground beef are my favorite, but their flat cut beef is to die for as well. It's hard for me to pick a lot of the time! Now I just go for the family pack to feed my family of 5, which comes with so much food and then we get leftovers too. I get the one with 8 skewers (you get to pick two kinds of meat) and it also comes with rice, amazing salad (not your average salad that you usually get with family packs, this has cucumbers, tomatoes, cranberries, onion, and feta on a bed of lettuce with a delicious honey mustard dressing), pita, tzatziki sauce, and a big tub of hummus. Seriously delicious. Easily one of the best restaurants in Encinitas!

Yelp
Great food and service....... But... they had a major drop in recent catering. Person who took order for catering entered wrong due date, so when we came to pickup food..nothing. They *quickly* recovered and we had our full order (+) in short amount of time and it all worked out. 'We would both order from them again and highly recommend them. BUT - make sure you triple-check your catering dates on printed receipts when you order/pay as they DO make mistakes, so we have to do their job of ensuring correct reading of calendar and order for them. We do thank you for quickly recovering and filling order...AND that should not have happened. Hopefully clerk has been trained properly in how to read a calendar.

Yelp
I've been here many times for takeout. I have to say the food is great and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is fast and efficient even when they are busy they are quick to get your order out. There is also a market with fresh produce and some middle eastern products that are very good. Highly recommend this place!!
google avatar

Yelp
A real find for me. The best pita chicken shawarma sandwich ever and excellent salad. The only problem is waiting in the same line as those checking out with carts of groceries before you can order. Then waiting for the food to be made. Maybe I'll try calling in next time. But the food is so good it was worth the 45 minutes it took to get lunch.
google avatar

Yelp
Wonderful little hidden gem the food was high quality, with generous portions and friendly staff who were all very accommodating. I loved the vegetarian plate. I'll have to go on a day where I have more time to walk around the little market. There were some amazing things in there. We will definitely be back again!!
google avatar

Yelp
Had two falafel wraps - the most authentic we've had anywhere in San Diego. Everything very fresh. Looking forward to trying their other prepared foods.

Yelp
First, I will start by saying, I am very picky as far as mediterranean cuisine goes. Too many franchised or commercial restaurants leave the love out of the food. It sucks, but it's the truth. Peachy's is not that. It's a market that serves mediterranean cuisine, but in no way does that hinder the quality of what I just had. Shirazi and house salads would have been enough to know that there is love when making this food. The kebabs were amazing and juicy and the portion was fantastic. My new favorite mediterranean cuisine is now Peachy's!!

Yelp
Its a hidden gem in a small shopping plaza in the heart of Encinitas! They known for their freshly made persian food and amazing family deal meals. The market itself is very clean, well stocked with middle eastern as well as some easter European items. Check this place out!
google avatar

Victor A.

Yelp
This is a market with a kitchen inside, but the kitchen is more busy than the market. I ordered the house salad, Kabobb, and flat chicken and all of it was unreal! What a hidden gem in Encinitas. The ambience is, how can I say a store with tables outside.... Hole in the wall, but amazing food

Sonja B.

Yelp
Just ordered the Chicken Shwarma salad. Delicious! Generous portions. Super fresh. Chicken right off the grill.

MC G.

Yelp
Delicious entrees and stocks Mediterranean cuisine spices and side dishes. Their kabobs are well proportioned and their sides are generous

Yelp
A very solid 4 stars. They make a great tasting beef shawarma wrap. The best I've had. The only thing that would make it better is giving more French fries or better seating for eating in. But it's a market with a deli so it's not meant to be a sit-in restaurant. For more video reviews of restaurants Follow me on Instagram at SDNorthCountyLiving

Yelp
It's mainly about the food The chicken, the salmon, and even the hummus were scored at about four out of 10
google avatar

Sanam A.

Yelp
The chicken kabob, ground beef kabob and gyros were all fantastic here. Fresh, hot and so filling. Comes with salad, bread and you will not leave hungry. It's a market so you order and sit and there's only a few tables but there's always been room.

Jessica N.

Yelp
The food was fantastic! I had the gyro with a side salad, and the dressing was absolutely delicious. I'll definitely recommend this spot to others. One tip: consider placing your order in advance, as it can get quite busy during lunch hours.

Yelp
This store is amazing! Needed a few things to make my puttanesca pasta and they had the puttanesca sauce and it was delicious! Produce here is amazing and the watermelon was so sweet! Prices are reasonable as well! Service is excellent!

Barbara S.

Yelp
First time ordering food from Peachy's. It was delicious! We ordered a dinner for 4, it was plentiful, had several different varieties and was reasonable in price. Will be back!

Yelp
Such a cool place and market! Honestly the falafel and hummus weren't to my liking, but perhaps I've become accustomed to the Greek style, which tend to have more herbs and spices, and the chickpeas are slightly coarser. Perhaps Persian-style is just different. It was still pretty good after crisping up the falafel in the toaster oven after drizzling a little olive oil on them. Also a little lemon juice and olive oil on the hummus made it better too. Though still much better than Nectarine Grove or Luna Grill, which put the awful in falafel.

Yelp
This little market is packed full of good stuff. The prices are very reasonable. The staff is helpful. They have lots of tasty things. The baklava was very good. and I love the selection of Halva . everything looked fresh, and the food there is fantastic. I suggest getting some hummus it's very creamy and good.
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
This is a great Mediterranean market and grill. They have a wonderful selection of bread and sauces and things you can't find in a local market. They have a great fruits and nut section and lots of great cheeses. The grill area is also great for a nice meal. There are lots of kabobs and hummus and combination plates. All the food is fresh. I recommend this for a wonderful Mediterranean meal or to get the freshest supplies to make your meals at home. Don't forget to buy some cheesecake to take home for dessert.

Yelp
This place is one of my favorites. Some of the grocery is a much have and the hot food is just incredible

Yelp
Decent Middle Eastern market Small , limited items but decent local and happy to find international items there.

Yelp
OK, so Peachy's Market and Grille just opened up a new place about two months ago inside the Shell station that is near the Target parking lot. They don't have their amazing chicken salad that they sell at the market, but other than that, the food is fresh and fabulous. Make a special trip there so they stay in business, even if you don't need gasoline. They are just fabulously delicious and the guy who works there is super, super nice.

Parviz G.

Yelp
Great Persian restaurant and grocery shop. The owner extra friendly and great service. The kabab kobideh is excellent. The pricing is very reasonable. I have been a customer for few years.

Yelp
We love this place ! Best herbs and vegies . Close enough for us to walk to this cute little market on 101.

Sarah F.

Yelp
So great that I had to post again! The food quality and portions are fantastic at this neighborhood market that serves amazing Mediterranean food. The staff is super friendly and make the entire experience even better. Our go-to meals are the chicken kabob and gyro plates which include grilled vegetables and a side salad. We consistently order their family meals and catering options as well. There isn't anything on the menu that isn't juicy and delicious. Also highly recommend their lavash and halvah selection.

Yelp
Haven't been here for a while, but I know the owner and he's a great guy his store is above the norm

Yelp
Recently, I had a HORRIBLE experience at Peachy's, a market/grill that my family and I have been patronizing every Friday for the past 2.5 years. The owner's behavior towards me was highly disrespectful and rude - in front of a large crowd too. To add insult to injury, 30 minutes later, the owner had the audacity to phone my husband to say I had angered him by challenging his refund policy and calling him rude - after he yelled at me for 5 minutes. Unbelievable. Hey Peachy's - here are some customer service tips that should be obvious: 1. If a customer is double-charged, promptly correct the mistake instead of putting the burden on them to follow up and return to your establishment. This shows that you value their time and patronage. 2. When customers have questions or concerns, respond with patience and courtesy, especially if they are loyal customers. They want to support your business, so take the time to explain things clearly without raising your voice and speaking aggressively. 3. Never call a customer's spouse to complain about their partner's complaint. It's 2023 - this behavior is unprofessional and inappropriate in this day and age. And hey, thanks for the smart reminder that there are plenty of other great options in the area!

Yelp
Best family meal deals in town. We get a slightly smaller one than we need the then add more sides of all their amazing sides. Everything is so fresh and good! Great service! And we love the market as well. Must try if you haven't been!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Peachy's Market and Grill consistently produce fresh and tasty selections. We especially like their Adas Polo, and potato & chicken salad. They also offer a wide variety of legumes. And best of all, their chicken and lamb are halal.

Yelp
Good food. Tasty food. I recommend this place. New variety. Great to take to parties

Yelp
Unique spot with fresh tastes in Encinitas. Peaches also has a location i On 101 in Leucadia. Bright produce, middle eastern pantry staples, ready to eat or take out snacks and meals as well as full catering is available. Friendly servers behind the counter will help you order We love their house-made soups, favorites are lemon chicken with rice and Lentil-vegetable soup. Gyros are packed with flavor, lamb kabob is tender, and that vinaigrette is drinkable!! Sidewalk seating looks inviting on a sunny day, or just grab dinner and take home to the family like we did. Big portions, good pricing, yummy flavors...we"ll be back!

Yelp
I'm rating this review on the grill. I purchased pomegranate stew called "Fesenjun " in Persian/Farsi. It is a pomegranate and walnut stew which contains a natural oil from the walnuts, it is somewhat sweet vs savery in nature. The one I purchased is the worst I have ever eaten. It was gelatinous, sticky, had no smooth texture, lacking in walnuts because there was no natural oil, the oil is to prevent it from coming out like this one did, they placed 4 pieces of chicken kabob on top instead of the chicken being cooked with the stew. They used to much pomegranate molasses as it was very sour. I would not recommend this dish to anyone. I threw mine away as it is truely not edible. To top it off I bought it for lunch to eat it there but the Fesenjun is served to you cold with warm rice and the employee told me to take it home and reheat it.

Yelp
We love Persian food and this place is on heavy rotation at our house. It's a deli/grill/grocery store and the kabobs are made fresh for a simple yet great takeout meal. It's unpretentious and the quality is good. Ample portions (one order is enough for 2 meals for my family). Browsing the grocery shelves while I wait for the food is also an added pleasure. One of these days I'm going to buy one of the many selections of flavored waters (rose and any number of fruit ones). Try the Ikra (egg plant spread) from the deli - it is delicious on pita bread.

Yelp
Recently biked from Mission Valley San Diego to Encinitas that's a round-trip of 60 miles to get this meal totally worth it such a great healthy option and definitely lighten up to get back on the bike and ride home! @neeks93 on insta
