Peacock Restaurant

We went here for dinner on our first day in Jaipur, mostly because it was at walking distance from where we stayed. It was a Saturday night and crowded. What stands out is their staff. Very polite and accomodating. Even though there was no tables, they allowed us to wait in the bar counter and offered us the table as soon as one got free. Coming to the food, it was definitely delicious. We ordered laal maas, mutton sheekh kebab, tandoori roti and junglee murg. All tasted yummy and fresh. We had a drink too and total bill came 3776. It was a bit expensive and we learned nonveg is expensive in Rajasthan. The ambience of the restaurant was great. Nice for date night too. The crowd was majorly foreigners which was a surprise

We went for dinner but the experience was not that great. Mouse was freely roaming on the counter and when informed to the manager. He just said it's only a single mouse in whole building. Not sure what he meant by this. Food was ok, bit dark ambience and gentle staff.

We loved this restaurant, it became our regular dinner spot during our stay in Jaipur at the Pearl Palace. The atmosphere is very pleasant with a beautiful patio and live traditional music. The menu offers creative indian and european fusion cuisine (like mutton spaghetti bolognese with straciatella, lamb and butternut risotto, portobello shepherd’s pie, all delicious). Great cocktail menu, and we discovered an excellent indian red wine, which honestly was as good as some french Bordeaux wine!

We had a lovely evening at Peackock restaurant. We enjoyed delicious chicken masala and paneer under the advice of attentive and kind Govind. Live music with a sitar and drums further added to the warm and refined atmosphere, making our dinner unforgettable. This is a popular spot with tourists, the food is nevertheless outstanding.

Well i visited this place with my husband...and truly my experience was horrible...after ordering hard drinks they denied us with peanuts saying that sardar ji (the owner) doesnt like them delivering the same to the customers...also the rate list of some of items differ after the bill and we were not informed about it earlier and when asked them regarding the same they said "menu card purana hai"....not only this WE WERE NOT INFORMERD EARLIER THAT THE KITCHEN WAS ABOUT TO GET SHUT.. .AND ALL I HEARD THE BARTENDER SAYING TO EVERYONE WAS "AB KITCHEN BAND HOGYA HAI BOLDENA SBKO KUCH NI MILEGA AB WHATSAPP PAR MESSAGE CHECK KRLE" and when we asked for the menu we got the same answer...if you people were about to close the kitchen atleast have some respect for the customers to inform them the same before shuting everything down No heaters...No music..... Worst place wont recommend it to anyone....I would say any place...ANY DAMN PLACE is much better than this one...

We visited the Peacock Restaurant whilst staying at the Pearl Palace Heritage hotel. On entering the restaurant we were quickly seated and we were glad we'd made a reservation as it was quite busy. We were asked if we'd like water but it seems this was forgotten as we had to ask a further two times to get water. After placing our order for food only one portion arrived; fortunately we'd both ordered the same so we were able to share it until the second one arrived. We found the food to be ok but a bit bland and in perhaps slightly smaller portions than we'd been having elsewhere. We then asked for the bill 3 times before we got it. The restaurant itself is really nice with a great decor and there was gentle live music being played which helped to generate a good ambience. Sadly the service is chaotic with waiting staff moving from table to table and seemingly not really on top of what they are supposed to be doing.

I was staying in another hostel, but I wish I could give it a chance to this one, it looks nice and clean, even though I was there everyday for dinner. I really love the food, it was hard for me to find some food, but this restaurant has so many options veg and non veg. And it is not expensive at all. Staff are sooo nice, polite and friendly. They are always checking you feel comfortable.

We found this place on Google Maps and it was truly amazing from start to finish! The service was excellent — Rakesh was super friendly and gave great recommendations. We ordered Lal Maas (spicy), Coastal Chicken (coconut curry), Naan, and pistachio ice cream for dessert — everything was delicious! Drinks were also really good. 5 stars for this place 😇
