The peackock room is very nice and definitely stop in and listen to music in the evening. Their peackock cocktail is very good. It is sweet if you like sweet drinks. I do. The first night I had a salad. It was ok. Only OK because the chicken was overcooked. And the dressing was so so. The second night I had the pear salad which was very good. I would have given the place a 5 star had the chicken salad just been a little more interesting. The entertainment and atmosphere was very nice. The waitresses were very good. Do make a reservation to be safe.

We really enjoyed our visit and meal at the Peacock Room! I recommend making reservations. The Lemon soufflé pancakes were beyond our expectations!!!! So so good! The eggs benedict were also good. The atmosphere is cool and cozy. The kitchen was at the top of their not just with the flavors and tastes, but also wait time! Well done!

We’re staying at the Hassayampa Inn for a few days so naturally we had dinner in-house at the Peacock. FAR exceeded expectations! Five star quality entrees. Outstanding service. Great prices. Highly recommend.

We were staying in the hotel and decided to try the Peacock room one evening for dinner. I couldn't find an entree that excited me, so I went with two starters - French onion soup that was delicious, and a baked brie with fruit and honey. That was perfect. Service is a little slow, but fine if you have all evening to spare.

Had dinner tonight with friends at the Peacock Room at the Hassayampa Inn, have not been to the Peacock Room for a long time, but we will be back soon. Everything about the evening was great from that fine dining atmosphere to the excellent service that Kari our waitress provided. We really all loved our food, onion soup, lamb stew with a biscuit on top, pear salad with grilled chicken, mussels, rare seared fresh ahi tuna and prime rib, all were excellent.

This is a beautiful, historical restaurant with excellent food and service. We have been here several times throughout the years, and always enjoyed returning.

We had dinner and breakfast here. The dinner was great and the breakfast was good too, but thought the dinner was better.

Absolutely fantastic! Best lemon cake!! The steak was cooked to perfection and the baked potato was amazing! Definitely check this place out!

Yelp
Greeted by hostess with a warm smile upon arrival. All servers were very friendly and helpful. Our server always checked on us to see if we needed more coffee or any other breakfast items. The food was very good! I enjoyed scrambled eggs with ham steak and one slice of buttered marble rye toast. The meal even came with hashbrowns! Big portions for each item! My husband enjoyed the eggs Benedict and he said he would order them again! Nice quiet atmosphere so you can hear each other speak. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to our family and friends.

Yelp
The hotel is awesome and has so much history. The music went w the theme of the hotel. Would have been cool to see the staff dressed in such ambience. Service in the Peacock room wasn't fabulous. It was too warm too inside so not overly comfortable when you're walking around town. We really wanted an appetizer and a drink and nothing caught our eyes on the appetizers. We asked for a drink menu and we're told the soda and tea and lemonade options not an adult beverage option until was more specific. Which we thought was a little weird. Would love to stay at the hotel, and hope maybe during a different time it would be more inviting.

Yelp
The only reason I am giving this resturant two stars is that the service was very good. Very attentive, polite. The food has been consistently poor, with the exception of their salmon dinner and the scallops. Whenever I deviate from these dishes, I am sincerely disappointed. Last week we took some friends here and I tried The lamb shank. They cooked it and drowned it inside a bowl of soupy polenta with the consistency of cream of wheat. It was plain gross. My friend ordered the poblano plate..despite my warning. It was almost inedible. Not sure who is making the menu and cooking decisions, but it's just not working. I've given them a half a dozen tries but just not appetizing so I won't be going back unless I want the Salmon. BTW, there are other resturants in town that do Salmon much better and for less. I recommend trying another resturant where the dinners are much more appetizing and not so esoteric, plus more affordable. Just not a good food experience and a poor bang for the buck. Don't like to say this about a resturant in my town, but it's the honest truth...maybe the feedback will make them consider evaluating their menu and the appeal of their food.

Yelp
We love staying at Hassayampa Inn but their restaurant, The Peacock Room, is such a mixed bag. We had reservations for brunch at 10:30 am and everything from the service to seating was rather slow and methodical. Took a while just to be acknowleded at the host station. Then they had to "prepare" our table. I guess they weren't expecting us to show up. Anyway, their prep did not include cleaning the chairs. I had to wipe off what appeared to be some parmesan cheese. Maybe the previous diners had a Caesar salad. I don't know. Some of it was on the floor too. I ordered a glass of champagne and after about 25 minutes wondered where it was. Not sure what happened but I eventually got it. I ordered an Omelet with ham, green chiles and asadero cheese. It was outstanding. I recall from a previous visit that their hash browns are woefully undercooked so I asked for "crispy, well done". It looked as if the cook just dumped a handful of frozen hash browns into the deep fryer! What I received was literally a pile of fried match stick potatos that I could barely keep on my fork. My son had the Southwest Burrito and he loved it! Looked great smothered with a green chile sauce. The burrito was huge and filled with chorizo and eggs. He remarked how richly flavored and nicely spicy it was. My wife had the Lemon Soufflee Pancakes. Not sure where the "souffle" part comes in but they were rather flat. One of the pancakes was quite undercooked in the center. She had the meal subbed out for a simple order of scrambled eggs and hash browns. She didn't request "crispy" and sure enough they came out quite pale and raw tasting in the center. This restaurant is really beautiful with a magnificent and historic art deco vibe. The service overall is pretty average which is a sad mismatch for this unique establishment. No one seemed to have any sense of urgency or personality. Your mileage may vary with the food. It definitely depends on what you order here. I can tell you they do eggs well and potatos poorly.

Yelp
I have been coming to Prescott for 13 years now averaging about every 2 years. I have seen this restaurant on every visit but never stopped by until last Sunday for dinner. The Peacock Room is located in the old and charming Hassayampa Inn in downtown Prescott just off the town square and about 2 blocks from Whiskey Row. It has one dining room that's attached to another smaller room that connects to the separate bar area. In the bar was a man playing piano and singing classic hits and that music was spilling over into the dining room. The dining room is simple in decor and does give the feel of old and simple Western elegance. I ordered the Australian lamb shank entree for $32 and added a house salad for another $6.50. First to arrive was a complimentary sliced baguette with a small bowl of house made dipping oil vinaigrette with a hint of lemon and some sliced Parmesan cheese on top. It was different and very enjoyable. Next was the salad with an iceberg wedge and red beet curls, Roma tomatoes and pumpkin seeds with my substituted ranch dressing for the bleu cheese dressing listed on the menu. The salad was very good. It was a quality salad and well worth the price. The entree arrived immediately after and served in a bowl. There was plenty of delicious meat on the bone and the creamy roasted garlic polenta with au jus and veggies on top was perfect and I mean perfect. That polenta had so much rich flavor that I couldn't get enough of it. I believe this was the best lamb shank I have ever had with the polenta putting it over the top. The table service was warm and friendly and the food came out very quickly and professionally delivered. I left stuffed and very pleased. This meal was an easy 5 score to me. I don't know if the Peacock Room is as good with every entree but this one impressed me. I will return here.

Yelp
We stayed at the Hassayampa Hotel for 3 nights and visited the Peacock restaurant 3 times. Once for dinner and twice for breakfast. On each visit the wait time for a table was long even though there were many open tables. It appeared that they were understaffed. There was no person at the hostess stand and the servers were busy taking orders and delivering food. On our second visit for breakfast I tried to make a reservation by phone 2 times but no one answered. On the third try I called the front desk and they took my information and delivered it to the restaurant. Even with a reservation we waited a long time to be seated. The dinner food was less than acceptable. The onion soup was too salty to eat and was returned to the kitchen. The Orange Roughly was bland. Our server Brianna did not check on us until I was almost finished with my dinner. The 2 breakfasts were very good. They consisted of French toast, Oatmeal and Hash Brown potatoes. The hotel experience was excellent and reviewed separately.

Yelp
Ambience: old school charm hotel and restaurant Hotel 5/5 and restaurant area 4/5. Great dueling guitarists were playing in the bar area. 5/5 Service: Leah R. Could not have been more friendly and helpful. These days, exceptional service and server are rare, but Leah checked all the boxes for a fabulous experience. 5/5 Food: we had the onion soup, trout, seared ahi, and bread pudding. All were great! 4.5/5 Price: The items we had were all very reasonable. More expensive items on the menu. Had a glass of wine too and out the door for $70. 5/5 Overall: we'll be back for another great experience 5/5

Yelp
Our friends took us to this lovely historic hotel restaurant in downtown Prescott for my birthday. The hotel is beautiful. The restaurant itself is rather spartan in decor by comparison. We were ushered to a booth where the waitress actually pulled the table completely out so that we could walk in and sit down, then the table was rolled back into place. Unique seating to say the least, but novel and was made fun by our waitress. We we provided a rather limited menu, several fish selections, a pasta dish and a lamb dish along with several salad and appetizer selections. I had the Chicken Alfredo, my husband and my girlfriend had the stuffed Orange Roughy and her husband had the Lamb Shank. The Lamb Shank arrived perfectly cooked and falling off the bone, delicious! Excellent job on the Lamb Shank. Both orders of Orange Roughly were just warm, bordering on cold. Neither my husband nor my girlfriend would send them back, but did complain the food was not hot, barely warm. They liked the food, just wished it had been served hot. My Chicken Alfredo was cold, dead cold. I did send mine back, I can't eat cold food. My food came back out, not just re-heated but completely remade - which was a pleasant surprise, and an excellent recovery. No kitchen can fix a problem that they don't know about. My husband and my friend did not give the kitchen an opportunity to correct the problem, which I'm sure they would have. I believe it's important to give restaurants an opportunity to fix a problem, it's the only way they can improve. We all shared the Apple Tart and Chocolate dessert. Takeaway: Lamb Shank is to die for! Don't miss the desserts. Wander around after dinner, the hotel is beautiful!

Yelp
Visiting grandma over the holidays. Her significant other wanted to take us out to a nice dinner. He picked this establishment. Excellent choice to be honest. Our server was engaging with our entire table, and helpful with the 3 "steak" heads My peacock martinis were delicious Soup, so yummy. Living in Seattle I eat so much more fish , than any other meat. I was not expecting to find that option in the high desert. OMG so freaking delicious. Truly delicious, as well as really filling. The banana Gelato, first was GINORMOUS and second DELICIOUS. The best, I've ever had. I'd recommend this, many times over.

Yelp
After living in Prescott for almost 2 years, we finally had the chance to try this restaurant. A group of 9 of us reserved a table, so there was no waiting, which was nice. The server was attentive in the beginning, taking our drink orders and then our dinner orders. However, she was nowhere to be seen throughout the rest of the dinner. I would have liked another slice of lemon for my trout, but I had no one to ask. As for the food: I ordered rainbow trout ($23). I don't like soggy fish and told the waitress so. The waitress asked, "Crispy?" And I said yes, please. The fish came, and it was not crispy. It was decent - not great, but decent. I did eat it all. The rice that accompanied it was another story. It tasted like something you'd buy in a cup at Walmart. Actually, Uncle Ben's pilaf is better. There were weird-tasting things in it. I did not care for it at all. As for veggies, I got exactly TWO string beans hiding within my pilaf. Two. And they were small. My husband ordered surf and turf ($50). He was less than thrilled about it. The meat was not very tender, although that could be because he ordered "medium well". He wished he had ordered medium. One thing they did well was supply enough bread and oil for the whole table. They distributed four different plates of it to the 9 of us. I almost ordered the crème brulee for dessert and now I wished I had, after reading another review that said it was good. Oh well! With my husband's bowl of soup ($6) and two Pepsis ($4.50), the bill came to $91.01. Once the tip was added, we paid $104.65. Definitely too much for a mediocre dining experience. As for the atmosphere, really there wasn't any. It's just a room in an old hotel.

Yelp
Just had a lovely lunch at hassayampa with our Red Hat Ladies. Food was amazing as always and our Server never stopped accommodating our endless requests. She was amazing. She was kind efficient and patient. Love the ambience and history. One of my all time favorite Prescott destinations

Yelp
This is a nice early evening venue. Typically they will have good music. The usual drink menu and they do a good job of mixing tasty drinks. The food is typically very good as they have a real chef in the kitchen! I love to get their wings and a good wine! I know, totally wrong, but who cares, I enjoy it with some music.

Yelp
The building is a historic building with a small main dining area. Service was good but a little slow. The house salad was more of a wedge and had excellent dressing. The lamb shank was fall of the bone tender and had great flavor. The chili poblano was full of flavor and had more flavor than the lamb shank.

Madelyn B.

Yelp
This is the first time I have eaten The Peacock Room. Have been to the Lounge before and used the lounge menu - which was fine. I was very disappointed with the food. 2 of us had the prime rib. Mine was very dry & tough. Not necessarily overcooked - just a low quality of beef. 1 person had the 5 oz filet and it was barely bigger than a meatball. I was very embarrassed as I suggested the restaurant, since they were staying in the hotel. The restaurant really needs to step up the quality.
google avatar

Stephanie H.

Yelp
Very disappointed. Was so excited to go there, but not happy. Our waiter Skylar had an attitude. I almost felt like I had to apologize to him all the time. I felt he was annoyed at us. For a fancy restaurant like the Peacock room, that was not correct. I felt our bus girl Summer was more charming. The shrimp cocktail felt as if it was prepared early in the day and left in the fridge - way too cold. I tried the baseball steak medium rare and had to send it back cause it was too rare- again Skylar gave me a look as he took it back - now I know I don't like baseball sirloin - but that wasn't anyones fault. My brother was happy with his slow roasting prime. The dessert was great - ice cream with chocolate sauce.

Yelp
Food and service was very good. Not crowded, so it was a very quiet place. Recommended

Yelp
Great ambiance, great service and great cocktails. Food was amazing. The Brie puff pastry and fresh fruit appetizer was like having dessert before dinner. Delicious.

TGarv G.

Yelp
Went to dinner last evening. The service, food and atmosphere were all top notch. Great location, perfect for a quiet romantic dinner. We had the filet mignon and it was tender and cooked to perfection. It is an overall great place to dine.

Jason C.

Yelp
Food was delicious. The "house" salad with the blue cheese vinaigrette was to die for. I had the Alfredo with chicken-very good. Staff was super. Eating there again tonight and looking forward to it.
google avatar

Steven H.

Yelp
The food is great, but the real draw is the ambience. It's an old style restaurant with a 1920s feel. I think the guy sitting next to me is Herbert Hoover, but I'm not sure.
google avatar

Sue B.

Yelp
We had a very nice breakfast here while staying at the Inn. It definitely has that "fine dining" feel. The coffee is quite dark so we'll avoid that in the future. We tried their famous coffee cake and it was very good. We ate every crumb. We also had a pancake/bacon/scrambled egg combo. The eggs were overcooked, but the pancakes and bacon were very good. Overall, it was a nice experience and we will plan to come here again.

Yelp
Family ate here many times before. We had Mother's Day dinner here and I'm starting to get the feeling that a buffet dinner might be easier because they just didn't seem to be able to keep up with the crowed. I had to chase down the manger three times to get something for the table. It was taking up to an hour to get food, not just for us but the people at other tables as well. So please don't think that the service is always like this. I just won't do mother days like this any more. The food was really good. With as busy as this kitchen was they did an amazing job at making everything perfect. So if you are looking for a historic hotel with a nice view with good food then please try this place out.

Heidi M.

Yelp
We went to the Peacock Room for the 2nd time on Mother's Day because the first time we ate there we really enjoyed the food and the service. On this occasion the food was good again, and service was good but when we got home my daughter became extremely ill with food poisoning from the Orange Roughy dinner. I promptly called to let them know because of concern that others who may order the same dish would become sick. Though it was still within business hours there was no answer. I called three times and received a voice mail. I finally called the front desk at the Inn only to be told the restaurant was not answering due to the business of the holiday. The restaurant wasn't even that busy when we were there. It was by no means full. I shared what happened and they took my information and said someone would be getting back to me. They never did. I was extremely disappointed by their lack of professionalism and felt that it was rude that no one even offered an apology. Their lack of concern will certainly prevent me from returning and will be related to my friends to warn them.

Yelp
Wanted to have a special night out for my birthday (and the selection is always way more limited in Prescott on a Sunday!) so we tried the Peacock room. Overall, the experience was fairly mixed. Some of the food was great and some was not, and it wasn't the atmosphere I was expecting (the servers seemed to be fighting with each other) and it was a bit worn down. The bar has more selection at a less expensive price and you aren't missing anything from the dining room... suggest going there first!

Craig R.

Yelp
Breakfast was 100% a great experience. Dinner however needs some work. When we first arrived the host stand was vacant and there was no host working. We were finally seated after waiting several minutes. They were not very busy. The server did not seem happy that we did not order an appetizer when we found out the menu we were given for appetizers was not available in the Dining Room and was only for the Bar. We were not made aware of this upon being seated. Also, when we placed our entree order, I mentioned I wanted to keep the wine menu to order something to come with my dinner. However, the next time the server showed up was when the dinner came out so I ordered my wine then. It took about 10 minutes before the wine arrived to be able to enjoy my meal properly. The server did not show up again until the end of the meal to clear plates. We decided we would try the Peacock Bar for dessert and enjoy the music, however, that did not happen either. We voiced our concerns at the front desk after being told there was no manager on duty that evening. We were told at checkout the next morning that our concerns were sent to the restaurant manager. It has now been 50+ hours and we have received no emails or phone messages to discuss our experience.

Emil P.

Yelp
Very nice restaurant in this old hotel. Had the prime rib and it was the best I've had in a long time. Seemed to melt in your mouth. French onion soup also good. My wife had the baseball cut sirloin and enjoyed that as well as the house salad, which was not a typical house. Only complaint would be that our sides of garlic mashed potatoes and sweet potato mash were not hot when served. Might have been plated too soon before the meat. Prices were very reasonable for both wine snd food.

Marie V.

Yelp
We have stayed at the Inn many times over the years, and love the Peacock restaurant. Great breakfasts, wonderful dinners, and don't miss the trout! We also love the cheese and fruit for a light snack. Great service.

Roger P.

Yelp
We are always open to trying restaurant that we had previously ate at that we were disappointed in. We have been here 3 times and one time my wife dined there with a friend. My wife and friend had a good experience. We will soon be dining there hopefully for a good experience. We are local and enjoy going to restaurants that we have a consistent quality. See you soon

Yelp
We have been waiting to check out the high tea time offered at the Peacock room. NEVER again!!!! They charge $27/person- even for kids who don't eat the awful food! We sat at the table for 30 minutes before our rude server asked us what teas we wanted. A total of 45 minutes til our tier of food came out. The scones looked like they were store bought. Not even warmed up. Sandwiches were itty-bitty. How can you charge each person $27 for barely any food, not even tea refills. Let alone charge kids the same price and NOT offer kid friendly sandwiches. My child only ate one chocolate covered strawberry and had water. That was the most expensive strawberry and sips of water she's ever had and it wasn't even good. I would never recommend anyone to waste their money there. Go to a real tea house that cost the same and offers you a variety of food (full plates) and more tea.

Yelp
My family and I go here mostly for Birthdays and the food is average and the service is always good! Another so/so Prescott restaurant...

Yelp
Swing and a miss. Came here for lunch on a Thursday and while the place is cute- that's about all it had going for it. It took a while to be seated. Once seated it took about 8 minutes to get drinks ordered. Took longer to put in our lunch order- then the fun really began. It took over 40 Minutes to receive our lunch. Keep in mind the restaurant was not swamped at all. There were maybe four other tables and the pace was leisurely. When the food finally came out- it was underwhelming at best. I ordered the mile high club with fries. Clearly my food had been sitting for a while as there was no warmth in the fries left. Even more puzzling was the plate I was served. It was just like the small nubs of curly fries- no complete fries, just the rejects. Even better- the amount of fries served was oddly low. Like- are you guys out of fries? Lemme know. I was truly surprised a line cook would send that out of the kitchen with any amount of pride. Just puzzling. I wouldn't have served that plate to a friend having dinner at my house. So the place is cool looking but service, kitchen skills, effort, and value are just not there. When we pointed out to the manager that it had been over 40 minutes, she kindly muttered "They're plating it right now." What about fixing it? Addressing the issue? Telling us what in the world is going on? Such an odd place. I cannot recommend this spot unless you have a ton of time and love fries that usually get discarded.

Yelp
You have to get a reservation! Hubby and I checked this place out on Friday night, it was busy. The busser girl was friendly but the server Ryan was not great. Service is very slow but worst part, we didn't get our full order and had to ask him to get us our salad half way through dinner. No apologies. The food is pretty okay. I got the rainbow trout and hubby got the prime rib. Overall, will try this place again but hopefully get a better server.

Deb J.

Yelp
Meal was served cold & Hash browns not cooked. Service was good, but you can tell they did not have enough staff. Ambiance was nice.

William W.

Yelp
We made a reservation for Thanksgiving 10 days in advance. We asked for 7pm (no), then 6:30 (no); 6pm was accepted. /we arrived at 5:55 to find more than 20 people waiting for tables. The hostess said, "Everyone is enjoying their dinners, you'll be seated soon." At 6:30--35 minutes after we checked in for our 6:00 reservation--only two parties had been seated from the group that was waiting when we arrived. The restaurant had obviously and purposely overbooked. We left for another restaurant. Two days later, a friend who had dined at the Peacock Room earlier told us that the price for the Thanksgiving dinner was $32.50 when she made her reservation. The restaurant called her the night before Thanksgiving to say the price was now $50. They never called us.

Casey M.

Yelp
I love this place, live music, great drinks, wonderful food... why four stars, unfortunately the service has fallen apart a bit. You can experience long wait times to be seated, to order and to see your food. But I know they will figure this out and be back on their A game soon! Don't let this scare you away, this is still a great place to come and enjoy yourself.

Jan D.

Yelp
We made reservations for 6 people, 7 weeks prior to Thanksgiving. We were told two specials were being served. A traditional Thanksgiving dinner and prime rib. The Thanksgiving dinner was to come with a drink and dessert. We got to the hotel early for our 5 pm reservations. The lobby was packed. We waited 40 minutes before being seated. Obviously, they over booked. We were told we would get water. They took all 6 glasses off the table. Came back 20 mins later and put the glasses back on the table and filled them. We got our salads 25 minutes after ordering. The food came 45 mins after that and it was cold. 5 in our party ordered prime rib and 1 ordered the thanksgiving dinner. The night was a fiasco. Food was delivered cold. They brought the sour cream for 5 of us that ordered prime rib ...but no butter. Promised they would be back with butter. We had to ask twice. It's pretty pathetic when you have to mash in butter on your baked potatoe because it's so cold. No chives as we ordered either. Never filled our water glasses. Never checked on us to see how everything was going, the turkey tasted horrid! Like baked fish! The atmosphere would have been better at Dennys! A plastic candle in a broken lantern and WE had to turn it on! If you're going to charge those outrageous prices in a time of inflation ... please deliver what you promised us, A good meal with a good atmosphere. We did eat here on Easter 2022 and it was excellent! However, after this we won't be back again. PS The wait staff was like watching the three stooges! Get it together Peacock room!

Carol B.

Yelp
I haven't had much of their food yet, but their drinks are average. Every cocktail I've had there comes with a maraschino cherry. I've had three different cocktails there. I don't know why they put cherries in everything. Had a grumpy bartender one day who just came back from vacation and was annoyed that, none of his working conditions had changed. Ambience is nice. I would go back, but if I have the same results, probably not again after that.

Yelp
Good good, staff is very nice. Lovely ambience an atmosphere in the historic Hassayampa in. French is served all day! Well, at least until dinner. They have live music almost nightly. Being that it's in such a small area it's very easy to hear it from the bar into the dining room. So you don't need to actually go in the bar to hear music. Sometimes it can be a bit loud, but most of the time it's just nice atmosphere. Get the lemon cake!!! if you don't have room for it, take some home! It is worth every calorie!

JoAnne G.

Yelp
This was a very disappointing experience. As locals, we love Hassayampa Inn and have really enjoyed our experiences at the Peacock Room in the past. We chose the Peacock Room for a nice dinner to celebrate our mothers on mothers day. It was difficult to make the reservation in general, I had to call 3 different times to even reach anyone. Then when they call to confirm the reservation a few days in advance, if you don't catch the call, it's an unknown number so you can't call them back directly and I had a hard time reaching anyone to confirm when I called back. Again had to make several phone calls. Day of dinner: They were not ready for us, or any other party at the time of our reservation. Once we were seated, we waited 15 minutes for anyone to even bring us waters, then we had to ask the manager to send our waitress to come take our drink orders. This was almost 15 minutes waiting. Our reservation was at 4:30, it was 5:45 by the time we finally got out food. We did have a bigger party, 9 of us, but the time frame was still unacceptable. We had to ask for drinks to be refilled and overall the service was very poor. Servers and managers were not very friendly or attentive. That said, the food quality was decent. For a $300 meal, for 9, I will not be back anytime soon. They need to upgrade some systems and work on the quality of staff.

Yelp
If you want a wonderful atmosphere and good food, eat at the Peacock Room. Service can be a bit slow, but that allows you to enjoy your meal and the ambiance of this restaurant. We've had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Peacock Room and always enjoyed our meal.

Yelp
Amazing restaurant, the food is delicious and the staff is amazing. We went there for our anniversary dinner and we were not disappointed. We also tried them for breakfast the next day and the ricotta pancakes were to die for.

Yelp
We've been enjoying the Peacock Room restaurant at Hassayampa Inn for more than a decade. Whether you enter from the main hotel entrance or from Gurley Street directly the ambiance is perfect with its traditionally old art deco style. Go through the hotel lobby front entrance for a real treat of art deco and western decor that are one of its own. It is historical and beautiful. We consider the Peacock Room at the top of the list of fine dining in Prescott and highly recommend it. We absolutely love a sunday breakfast or brunch of the wonderfully light, fluffy and tasty lemon souffle pancakes (if you want to call a souffle a pancake) with delightful rasberry coulee or regular maple syrup on top. Have an egg sunnyside up and properly cooked, creamy runny yoke, firm whites with no overdone edges and their applewood smoked bacon is very tasty. They have great eggs Benedict, sausages, and everything is served with the fresh fruit trimmings make it a delight with a nice cup of coffee and fresh orange juice. For dinner the place steps up its game with great appetizers from their house caesar salad, the brie in puff pastry (both big enough for two) are a perfect start with a great wine selection, we've had many but the Rodney Strong Russian River Pinot Noir is great (mark-up is about 150% from retail). And for mains our group had the savory blaised bone-in lamb shank with creamy roasted garlic polenta morel au jus and haricots perfectly fall off the bone cooked. Great lamb flavor that was not gamey at all. The Orange Ruffy was stuffed with crab and had a nice lemon butter sauce with a nice cranberry pinon quinoa and veggies cooked perfectly ăl dĕn′tē. The diver scallops with a great and unique prosciutto and split pea risotto of the perfect blend and taste. Desert one must have the flourless chocolate decadence rich chocolate fudge with pinon nuts, berries and whipped cream. If you can handle more food. And of course they serve a mean cappuccino that is as good as it gets (knocks coffee shop types out to lunch, and just as good as I can make it at home). The portions are on the larger (not huge) side so sharing a starter and a desert for a close meal with one you love is recommended. Our last meal we had a group of six folks for a combined birthday and Christmas get together and had plenty of room for COVID19 concerns, the staff all wear masks and take precautions. Highly recommended for special occasions for groups or just a romantic evening for two.

Yelp
Overall this was a very nice experience! The service was a bit slow to start in welcoming us and first seeing the server but was very good once it started. The food was very good! We had the prime rib and filet. Both were great and served exactly as we wished along with everything, even the sauce, HOT! The wine list is nothing special but a few decent choices at fair price. The atmosphere is really cool too! Make sure you make a reservation in advance, especially for Friday/Saturday nights prime rib!

Yelp
We have been here many times (brunch and dinner) because we love the location and have always enjoyed our dining experience but our Valentine Day dinner was a disappointment. I ordered NY steak medium and it was partially medium and mostly RARE. My husband ordered beef tips - some burnt, some rare and some over cooked. He ordered rare and the tips were all over the place. Needless to say we will not be returning any time soon. 2 stars because we still love the ambiance.

Yelp
Convenient when staying at Hassayampa Inn. Prices a bit high but happy hour food not bad at all. Staff top notch and great ambiance.

Yelp
We were really excited to dine here since it's a fancy restaurant. The food quality was disappointing. We ordered the fettuccine chicken alfredo and the chicken tasted like rubber. It was cold and seemed old like it had been cooked hours or the day prior and just reheated. My husbands ordered the a Australian lamb chop And it was ok, we were expecting better meat & more gourmet dishes considering our bill was over $100 dollars. The hotel is cool and the ambiance & service was great. I really hope a manager reads this and corrects the food quality issue.

Yelp
This place is beautiful - especially at Christmas time! Love the nostalgic Christmas music from the 40's! The food here is really good. For breakfast I had the caramel French toast with a side of hickory smoked bacon. Also noteworthy item that I almost got were the lemon soufflé pancakes. I just wish they offered the caramel French toast and the lemon soufflé pancakes with bacon or sausage instead of you having to order a side of them. Also on a down note the backs of the booths that you lean against is straight up and down and was a bit uncomfortable. But overall this was a great breakfast experience.

Yelp
Happy hour on the patio tonight. Music extremely LOUD! Was not an enjoyable experience. Couldn't carry on a conversation with friends. Will definitely looks for somewhere else for next time.
