Peanut Island

Cool place to go with the family for the day. You take a little pontoon boat over. Good place to snorkel offshore and talk a walk around the island. Great for kids. Bring a picnic. Tons of iguanas on the island

Perfect place to see fish, and you don’t even need goggles! The water was so clear and the island was so fun to walk around.

Never go on holidays and weekends!! It is incredibly crowded. Everyone on the island plays music as they wish, the smell of barbecue surrounds you. You can have a miserable day when yachts and jet skis are docked on the shore. I don't know what it has to do with jet skiing on the reef, but if you want to, the fee is $70, of course excluding tax and tip. They also sell ice cream on the boats around. It has turned into a complete business. What a shame!! However, it would be such a beautiful place if there were no people... Although the reefs are incredibly beautiful and suitable for snorkeling, even the fish run away from the crowd. If you go on a calm day, you can be alone with peace, quiet and nature. There is also a camping area on the island. The toilets were cleaner than I expected. But you don't have the chance to take a shower. I think they cut off the water for the showers.

Peanut Island is a fun little getaway that feels worlds apart from the city around it. After a short transfer by boat, you’re dropped into a spot that’s perfect for slowing down. A nice walk along the trail takes you past water views and greenery, and the whole place works as a great escape zone in the middle of a big city. It’s simple, refreshing, and just the right kind of break when you want nature without going far.

Very clean and respectful people at this island. Everyone keeps to themselves. A nice lady sells snow cones here for 5$, which is a great price. I enjoyed my time at pea nut island

Great place to enjoy with family and friends on the weekends or anytime that you have time and boat. The water it’s clear and not too deep so the kids play in the water and have fun times. A lot of boat gathering in the shallow area, listening all types of music. Also others boats sales pizza or Ice cream, very convenient. On the park they have bbq areas for anyone who wants to use it.

Beautiful island to visit! It's cheap and easy to get there, with the shuttle:) beautiful beaches, there are toilets showers and drinking water. It has nice snorkeling with big schools of sergeant majors, and clear water, great for kids and a lively day out! I'd love to go back!

This is one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever been to. The water is super clear and clean. It doesn’t even let your hair dry. I stayed for one night camping, and it was amazing. The spots are super comfortable, there are bathrooms, and the showers are only for campers and have hot water. There is an amazing spot for snorkeling with beautiful sea life. There is no electricity, but there are water faucets around the camping spots. You can only have a campfire in the designated area. When you arrive, you can drive your car to the water taxi area (call 2 days ahead to reserve a taxi), ask for a parking ticket ($10), and park close to the area. The water taxi will take you to the island with all your camping gear, and you must return before 2 p.m. when check-out is. This is a GREAT place to spend the weekend.
