"Tiny Peanut Island is a local’s hideaway in the Palm Beach County. Located where the Lake Worth Lagoon meets the Palm Beach Inlet, the waters here are crystal-clear and filled with tropical fish and marine life. While the only way to stay overnight is to camp (there are no hotels, restaurants, or other establishments on the island), visitors can spend the day snorkeling and picnicking. If you don’t have a private boat, you can access Peanut Island via the regularly running shuttle." - Travel + Leisure Editors

Of all the beaches I’ve been to in South Florida, this has been one of my favorites. The peace, tranquility, and beauty of this place are incredible. For safety reasons, they don’t allow you to board the shuttle boat with alcohol, as it is a place meant to be enjoyed with children and family. Highly recommended!

Loved the sandbar on the north side of the island. We paddle boarded over and spent the late morning and afternoon relaxing. Takes about 10 minutes to paddle board over. A lot of fun, water is crystal clear. Perfect place to spent a nice sunny day.

It's like a mini Bahamas !! THE WATER IS TURQUOISE CLEAR!!! The coolest place! Went last minute. $18 round trip. Free parking available. No alcohol allowed. They check bags. Gotta take your own food & drink. Ride was quick and is a lovely view. We snorkeled. There is a shower to wash off sand, bathrooms, grills & picnic tables. Spent 3 hours bc a storm was due. Returning again tomorrow!

Easy Parking at the ferry, $20 per person. Bigger than we thought. Bring chairs, food and drinks and you can be there all day! Amazing water to snorkel in

Peanut island is an excellent place for camping and enjoying some relax and fun! Great service, easy to book, and peanut island shuttle and water taxis come and go every 20 minutes. Campground is clean, hot water for shower is available in the restrooms, and the place is just perfect for the whole family to enjoy. Remember to bring your s’mores to enjoy at the communal fireplace area!

This place is AMAZING, clean and calm water, perfect for a day with the family and specially kids. Be ready to do some snorkel, kayak or to use your paddle boards. Restrooms are clean, be aware you need to take a ferry to get to the island.

A paradise in Palm Beach. Is definitely a place to visit if you are in the area. There is a ferry that takes about 15 minutes. We went on a weekend, and it was open from 8:30 am to buy tkts. First come, first serve. At 9am, we took off. They will check your cooler for alcohol as it is not permitted on the island. The ferry is every 20 minutes until it reaches full capacity on the island. The whole island is about 1.5 miles, and it has a bbq area, bathroom, and freshwater for showering. Beautiful white sand green water and lots of fish, be aware of jellyfish on the months of August and September. Bring food, snacks, and drinks. There are no places to buy anything. Will definitely come back. It is on my list of favorite beaches in FL.
