Pear Tree Inn Farmhouse Kitchen with Bar & Rooms

Visited for Sunday lunch. They managed to fit us in last minute. The food was delicious! The pork belly was the best I’ve ever eaten. Our son had the fish and chips. We don’t eat fish but told it’s one of the best. My parter had the beef and thoroughly enjoyed it. All the staff were fantastic and looked after us perfectly. Many thanks to all involved!!

What can I say stunning,beautiful, outstanding definitely going back. The Pear Tree Inn is stunning, atmosphere, location, food and service 10 out of 10. My family and I made a reservation to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. The were 11 of us they accommodated everything we asked for, we could decorate the table. The staff sang happy birthday as they brought out the cake we provided, absolutely amazing. The food was impeccable hats off to the chef, the children had the best time. If you are looking for a special place The pear Tree is it xxx

We ate Sunday lunch here on a recommendation from our AirBnB host, and booked in advance. I have to say, on behalf of my family, that we have not enjoyed a meal out this much in many a year. There are cheaper meals, but you will surely not find better. The staff were lovely and the venue is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for our kids to explore (and collect windfall fruit). So happy, full, and in need of a nap.

The smell of a real fire as I walked in after a cold day was lovely. The staff were so nice and very helpful. 2nd time staying as the first was such a pleasure. The food is impeccable. 100% recommend this little gem

This is a review of the B&B business. There is a separate Tripadvisor for the restaurant. The management of the place is well done and the staff are intelligent and diligent. Breakfast was excellent. The room is not large, and decorated in shabby-chic style which is cute.||The wifi was almost non-existent at 2.81 Mbps and we had to log on elsewhere even to read our online newspaper. In "Bartlett" there is a deep bath (hooray) but no grab rail and we were unwilling to risk a fall, so we couldn't bath or shower during our three night stay.

Wonderful breakfast. Took my husband's cousins who were visiting. They were so impressed. Food delicious,staff so polite and attentive. Fantastic!

I enjoyed my stay at the Pear Tree Inn. The food was good and the wine was great, the staff were polite, attentive and efficient. The room was nicely furnished and absolutely spotless and a lovely place to spend the evening. The bed was very comfortable and both bed and bathroom linen were of a very good quality. The only thing which was somewhat disappointing was the shower, which lacked much pressure. Personal preference would have been to have had no bath, the sides were a little high and a dedicated walk in shower. This said, it was very clean and the shampoo and shower wash were very nice. There is a good selection of quality tea and coffee in the room, with fresh milk and water being provided. The only thing which I found disappointing was the WiFi. The signal kept dropping and there is little O2 mobile signal. I see the rest of the village is or has fibre installed, the Pear Tree should invest in a good WiFi network and fibre connection if available. That small irritation aside, the Pear Tree should be top of everyone’s list of looking for food and or accommodation in the area.
