Pearl Beach Resort

We had a fantastic stay at Pearl Beach Resort. It has a lovely secluded spot on the island away from the noise of the few other resorts. The coral reef is directly in front of the beach which makes for perfect snorkelling. The staff went above and beyond to provide everything we needed, including trips and transfers. We stayed in a garden bungalow which was comfortable and we loved the outdoor shower concept. We ended up extending our stay as we loved the tranquility so much!

My family spent 4 days at Pearl Beach Resort, and it was an fantastic. We really loved everything about our stay. It was relaxing, but with enough activities to keep teenagers highly engaged. The snorkelling in front of the resort was great, and it is each to hire a boat to go to some of the other nearby islands. Our favourite activity was renting a kayak to go to a small island where we were had the entire island all to ourself. Gili Asahan is small. We walked around it in about 1-1.5 hours, and the walk was amazing, with plenty is isolated beaches everywhere. The dive shop nearby is able to rent anything you will need for water related activities. We would highly recommend Gili Asahan and Pearl Beach for anyone that is looking for a relaxing get away :)

Wow – what a wonderful place! The bungalows are beautiful, the restaurant is right on the beach, and there are so many lovely, peaceful things to do – like kayaking, snorkeling at the reef, or going for relaxing walks. The food was excellent and the service truly great. We felt completely happy during our stay and can 100% recommend this accommodation.

A magical place, without a doubt the most special resort I have ever stayed at. Gili Asahan is a little paradise, Pearl Beach could not be located at a better place. Very intimate and peaceful, far away from the busy places in Bali. The staff at Pearl Beach are among the friendliest and most helpful people I have ever experienced. A very harmonic place and you can feel that the management really values their employees. Last but not least, their house reef is incredible. The team genuinely cares about the underwater environment and puts a lot of effort into conservation and restauration of the reef. Whether you like snorkeling or Scuba diving, this is a world class location.

We stayed for two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Accommodation: A little paradise on the island – quiet, secluded and perfectly equipped. The rooms are spotless and it’s the ideal place to relax undisturbed. Staff: From booking to goodbye: 12/10. Extremely helpful, friendly and attentive. Food: Beautiful waterfront restaurant with great views and tasty national and international dishes. Good value for money. Coral Reef: The highlight of our stay. Just a few meters from the shore and truly world-class snorkeling – we could have stayed in the water all day. Highly recommended! Thank you for our wonderful stay at your place. ☺️

Pearl Beach Resort exceeded my expectations, really. I was actually in a dilemma as I needed to choose between this and the other resort located on the other side of the island. In the end, I chose this, and I do not regret a thing! The room is spacious with AC and a fan for your convenience. PS. They have added AC in all of their accommodation rooms now. As it's located in natural areas, just be aware of your food, especially the sweet ones, because it will attract ants lol. Service-wise is a top tier; you will feel welcomed as soon as you arrive on the island. The hotel is actually located in the most strategic location of the island, it faces the calmer sea compared to the other resorts and the coral near the hotel is just pleasing to see. I would recommend everyone to stay here if you want to experience Gili Asahan (especially for first timer)

Six days in paradise! Absolutely loved everything about Pearl Beach Resort and the small idyllic island of Gili Asahan. |THE CORAL GARDEN: incredible snorkeling (some of the best we have experienced) right off the beach in front of the resort, coral of every colour, so many varieties of fish, turtles etc, a wonderful coral regeneration project and reef protection. Other locations nearby. |THE ACCOMMODATION: we stayed in a garden bungalow that had everything we needed, comfortable bed, semi outdoor bathroom, privacy and quiet, waking to the sound of nature every day.|THE FOOD: all of it was delicious, we ate here every day for 6 days and tried many dishes, compliments to the chef! The complimentary afternoon tea/coffee and pastries were a treat. |THE STAFF: happy, friendly, helpful, genuine and always smiling|SUMMARY: our stay at Pearl Beach was magical and exactly what we needed to slow down and just be, so peaceful, calm, relaxing and soothing for the soul. We had a fantastic stay at Pearl Beach Resort. It's a small remote paradise, not at all crowded like the Northern Gilis but most of the comfort is provided. Beautiful villas, fantastic view and plenty of lounge chairs and bean bags along the beach facing the sea to relax, the diving center embedded into the hotel is good for renting fins, masks or scuba gear and allow you to adopt Corals as the hotel and dive centre are actively trying to preserve and regrow the reef. Really a great experience and the food, with a decent variety on the menu, was fantastic and always fresh! We would happily go back, 2 nights was a bit too short, maybe plan 3-4 nights minimum to enjoy and relax.
