We chose to stay at this resort on Gili Asahan as it was close to dive school and the best reef on the island.|We visited for three nights and mostly enjoyed our stay.|We were in the beach villa, which gave ample space for the two of us, including 2 bathrooms. Loved the outdoor seating area by the sea where there was a welcome breeze and shade.|We also had an outdoor shower before you go inside which is very useful after snorkelling.|As others have noted, this bungalow is plagued by centipedes, which we regularly’rescued’ before one of us stood on them! |Breakfast’s were good, but after one evening meal we chose to walk round to another hotel for fresh fish. Just remember you are walking through the local village so need to cover up appropriately.|We walked round the island one day, when tide was out, beautiful shells, but remember to leave them!||My husband dived with the dive school and we both snorkelled of the beach. Coral stunning and a credit to the restoration programme. Unfortunately the sea wasn’t the clearest during our stay.||We both also had a massage whilst staying, which I would recommend booking.| |Service was mixed. Some staff were amazing, hardworking and friendly. We witnessed some staff sitting behind the bar and not attempting to serve guests. ||Overall hotel well positioned for those wanting to enjoy the reef and dive school.
