⭐ 1/5 — Extremely Disappointed: Worst 5-Star Hotel Experience
I recently stayed at Pearl Continental Hotel, Lahore, expecting a premium experience from what is marketed as a luxury hotel. Unfortunately, the reality was far from acceptable. This hotel barely meets 3-star standards, despite its claims to be 5-star.
The furniture was outdated and worn out, giving the entire room a gloomy and neglected vibe. Nothing about the room felt fresh, modern, or comfortable. The beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom fixtures were outdated and poorly maintained, and even basic amenities were either missing or malfunctioning.
The customer service was poor and unresponsive. I had to follow up multiple times to obtain basic requests. Hotel facilities, in general, were unimpressive. It’s clear that there has been little to no effort in renovation or maintaining a high-quality guest experience.
For the price they charge, this hotel is not worth it at all. There are far better hotels in Lahore offering more modern facilities, better service, and a more comfortable stay. I will definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not be returning.
I've stayed in over 100 hotels worldwide, ranging from budget to high-end luxury properties, and Pearl Continental Lahore ranks as the worst so-called 5-star hotel I’ve encountered. It’s a complete mismatch of price and quality, and I strongly urge travellers to consider other options in Lahore.
