Primarily covers the history of pearl diving and farming. Also has a cool outside area that features an old boat and scuba outfit they used to use!

We are quite disappointed from this „tour“. In my opinion is the tour really overpriced. It cost 37$/p and i can not really say that it is a tour. 1. half is a little history lesson, where you sit on your bench and the oerson explains about broom, the pearls and shows some examples. 2. half is manly a video about the old pearling style. You get to try the pearl meat (which is probably the reason why it costs so much). All together waaaaaaay to overpriced for what it is. Better go to the history museum of Broome. The staff on the other hand is amazingly enthusiastic about the the job and the industry which is very nice to see. I believe all know a lot.

We loved the tour, a good invite to the old days of Broome followed by opening of Keshi pearls.

As a diver of 50+ years. I was very impressed to hear about the industry, its ups and downs and continuing development. Broome was built onto back of this enduring trade. As a tourist visiting Broome this tour is a must.

This tour is excellent if you do not have time to go up to the farm at Willie Creek, or comments that tour if you can do it. Big Stewart was our guide, and is very entertaining. The pearl meat was delicious. An added bonus was the Keshi pearl demonstration afterwards, and the lovely little pearl that eventually emerged from the oyster. I was especially pleased to be able to buy a pair of almost matched baroque keshi pearls to add to my colldction of Persian Gulf Keshi pearls.

This display is of significant historical importance to the early settlement of Broome. The display of the pearling luggers that are in dry dock are a credit to the Broome community and historical society.
