Great Location & Views, But Cleanliness and Service Need Improvement.
I stayed here during the last week of December mainly because it was one of the few options available during the peak season.
The Positives: The location is definitely the highlight. Situated right at the waterfront on Al Marsa St, the morning and evening views are lovely. We were lucky enough to view the JBR New Year fireworks right from our balcony (just above the Sheraton building), which was a fantastic experience. The hotel also has swimming pools—one for adults and a tiny one suitable for toddlers.
The Room & Kitchen: The rooms come with an attached kitchen equipped with an induction cooktop, utensils, cutlery, and plates. However, the cleanliness of these items was below par. We actually had to wash everything ourselves (using the dishwasher) before we felt comfortable using them.
Dining: The on-site restaurant, "The Market," is decent value for money, but the breakfast spread was disappointing. It is very limited with too few options to choose from.
Service: Room service, specifically housekeeping, really needs to pick up the pace. There didn't seem to be a set schedule, and cleaning was inconsistent.
Verdict: A decent option if you prioritize location and views, but the service and cleanliness standards need to be raised to match the excellent placement.
