Peccas Helado Artesanal

This place is so cute! I love the design of the menu and interior. We tried a couple of flavors, and ended up getting the Nutella banana strawberry crepe and a (large) half scoop of tres leches ice cream. I didn't think the crepe was particularly good, though it was made fresh. It was a bit chewy and not crisp. The ice cream was fine but not my favorite flavor. I liked the guava cheesecake flavor that I tried, but I wouldn't be able to eat too much of it. Overall I'd be down to try more ice cream flavors, but I wouldn't get the crepe again. And it's quite expensive!

A unique concept that I've never experienced! Peccas offers a Naughty (alcohol infused) or Nice menu options! It was hard to choose from all the flavors. I went with the seasonal Pumpkin Cheesecake and my friend went with the Butter Pecan Bourbon...wow! So so so gooood! I need to go back!

Peccas’ ice cream is the REAL DEAL. Ice cream made from scratch, unique flavors, classic flavors, “naughty” alcoholic flavors, and the crepes and brownies are amazing too (homemade too). Even the coffee is AMAZING, at the level of the best coffee shops! I’m obsessed with this place and wish everyone knew about it!!! It’s the best place to stop and go with friends/family, or treat yourself ✨🤤😍

This ice cream is the BEST ice cream I’ve EVER had in my LIFE( and I’ve had A LOT of it all over the world) . It was the creamiest, the most balanced and the flavors were amazing and extremely natural, nothing artificial. The waffle cones are crunchy and flavorful as well. I did not try any “naughty” flavors , only without alcohol and they were all phenomenal. I would highly recommend not missing a chance to try this place 🔥🔥

This has been one of the best and different ice creams we have tried. We ordered the naughty flavors of Captain Morgan and brownie Whiskey. You could really taste the alcohol and flavors. We loved it. They have bathrooms available, really nice decoration. Only thing we did not like was the parking. The valet parking down the street was full, all the street was full and there was not even one spot available, we almost left. Otherwise, everything else was great.

Cute little place and I had some yummy boozy sorbet - coquito y mango margarita. A little pricey but it has alcohol in it so expected. Not too strong alcohol, good taste. Place was pretty empty, ok decor and staff was nice.

Interesting flavors. Located in a quaint neighborhood, this ice cream place was a good visit. We had their Gin lavender and brownie whiskey in Naughty flavours. Both were good and unique. Of the nice flours, we liked their Polviron de Almendra but the cheesecake Guayaba (best seller) tasted artificial with a very strong flavor.

Very good icecream shop! Nice original flavors, including those with alcohol. The place is small (like 6 tables + 1 outdoor table), clean, very cozy and there are some board games to entertain while enjoying the icecream. Thursday night was not crowded at all. Next time, i will try the crepes. Credit cards accepted (i believe cash is not accepted, but maybe im wrong). Parking is on the backstreet, after the foodtruck park.

Great service, delicious ice cream, and crêpes! Nothing else needs to be said! Parking in the area is a little difficult, but it's well worth that small inconvenience

I was craving something sweet after dinner . I was in the mood for ice cream so I looked up ice cream shoppes in the area . This place caught my eye instantly . As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the sweetest cashier who was very friendly and seemed like she enjoyed her job . I decided to get the cookies and cream ice cream and also decided to get a crepe as well . Onto the good . The ice cream was amazing and you can tell they use really good ingredients . The ice cream was some of the best if not the best ice cream I have in a while . Which is a huge deal because I have had ice cream from all over the world . Onto the bad the crepe was okay . It was as more heavy and denser than I would have like for it to have been and the flavor was okay . I can't wait to try what they have next .

The polvoron de almendra here is amazing!! So delicious, I was craving seconds. Store is clean and a nice place to hang out. There are board games in the corner, too. Service was also friendly. You can sample whatever you'd like!

Visiting from Los Angeles and Absolutely LOVE this place! Angela was as sweet as the ice cream they serve! The ice cream is delicious, but I would come back for the conversation and ambiance alone. - Very clean, AC is blasting, Service is top notch. - Ice Cream - I went with the Rum Chata and coffee flavor which taste amazing alone, but even better as it starts melting. Those flavors went really well together like a marriage of 30+yrs that never disappoints. A LOT of unique flavors and options that you can try. - Ambiance - great for a date, after lunch, or just to try some local flavors that you won't regret like the last relationship that didn't work out. A MUST if you're visiting PR or live here!

Incredible ice cream and phenomenal service. Had the coconut cream ice creas (can't remember the name) and the guava cheesecake in a waffle cone. Wow, I cannot stop thinking about how good it was. The coconut ice cream had coconut shavings and pieces of coconut cookies and it was to die for. The guava cheesecake was like eating a cold cheesecake with small pieces of guava inside. Incredible. Served was patient, explained the concept, gave us samples and catered to our needs and specifications. Was an excellent experience. Tried the guava Prosecco and trust me going back just to have a pint of it.

Bright and happy, Peccas know how to make ice cream. A great variety including naughty and nice, this yummy place has shakes and crepes too. Friendly staff and upbeat music will make your treat that much sweeter. Peccas is off the main road but worth the walk. Get over here now!!

A great little spot for ice cream. Pick from the naughty or nice menu for alcohol or family friendly flavors- or pick one from each! The flavors are strong and really good. You can try all the samples as you pick your combination. Scoops are big too! There are tables with games available, plus some seating outside. Great spot for something sweet!

Delicious ice cream. Very friendly staff. We got one naughty and one nice flavor. Both were great and you can't really taste the alcohol.

I got the Guayaba cheesecake on a waffle cone! Soooo good! There was pieces of guava and it was just perfect. My only complain was that the cone was a little soft and not as crunchy as you would expect. They also have boozy flavors!! So Ice cream with alcohol. I have to try that next time! The location is cute and pink. The girl at the counter was very nice. Great ice cream!

This place is SO cute! And the ice cream is so rich and yummy. They have "nice" flavors (typical ice cream) and also "naughty" flavors (with booze!) I love the theme of this place, with the bright pink walls and neon signs. It feels very trendy and clean. Aso, it is located right around the corner from the Miramar food truck park! Great place for dessert after lunch.

I really enjoyed the variety of ice creams and sorbet offered here. My family of 7 held up the line as we sampled and enjoyed our delicious choices. I decided on a almond ice cream. It was nutty and flavorful. The kids chose nutella, fruity pebbles, and a flavor named after a cookie that is popular in PR, which I cannot remember. Hubby got the mango sorbet. We all smacked down even after our meal we enjoyed just next door. Everything is made in the store and when they run out - that is it. We found out the hard way when there was no more Whopper and just one serving of popcorn and M&M. This is a popular shop and I am glad the shop owner took the time to offer us samples.

Excellent artesanal ice cream. And great staff. Definitely recommend. Simple and direct.

Really well done! Very tasty ice cream with creative flavors and a fun atmosphere. They have a ton of old games to play and I think the two women who started the business are typically here running the shop. Worth your while!! Prices are commensurate with the quality (really good ice cream is not cheap to make) and you are supporting a quality local business.

The passion fruit Italian ice was outstanding. It's impressive that everything is homemade, it reflects in the taste. My one complaint is the price to cost ratio. Their "small" scoop is laughable for what they charge. I understand that it takes effort to create something from scratch but they need to at least choose a different container for the small size. It looks like they put a tiny ice cream scoop into a lid from a cup.

Good old fashioned home made ice cream store; hard to find in PR in general in my experience. The owner was very friendly during a slow after lunch time, and was telling me all the special flavors she makes and how popular they are. I had two nut based flavors that I enjoyed very much. Mind you, the flavors are seasonal and change regularly. One thing surprised me was that the ice cream melted very quickly, probably because it was home made and no a/c in the store. Recommended stop if you are around Rio Grande!

This place hits the spot after a day of adventure in the rainforest or beach. Easy to park in street or in open lot across from it. Definitely get their homemade cones; you can smell the waffle from outside, louring you in. My fav was the 3 Cocos ice cream, which was fantastic. Just off Hwy 3, its one bldg off the main road 191 into El Yunque. We are ice cream snobs (we go to a nearby dairy farm at home that we think is best in USA) so think most other places are average or worse... Pecca was great! So much so, we are hitting it again on way out of town.

We just had a whiskey coco ice cream. It is so delicious. We are going to send all the Rainforestinn guests here! Also they have crepes and frappe

The service from the staff was great, they answered all of our questions and allowed to try various ice cream flavors. Bit the ice creams an gelatos were delicious. Will definitely come again when around this area.

This place is extremely cute! My girlfriend and I went to this place on our way to seven seas beach, and wow did the sorbet hit the spot. I got mojito parcha (passion fruit mojito) and coco mojito, both of these flavors have alcohol in them. My girlfriend got parcha (passion fruit), tamarindo (tamarind), and guayaba (guava).

Highly recommend. Amazing ice cream and fantastic crepes. The ice cream cones are made on-sight and taste heavenly. And wonderful customer service as well. I wish we were staying longer so we could try their Italian Ice!

This Ice cream shop was delicious and has outstanding service that only Puertoricans can offer! My hubby had the frozen coffee with an extra shot of expresso and a scoop of coconut ice cream in his shake SO DARN GOOD. I had the two scoops of Cookie butter with huge chunks of cookies in the ice cream. So fresh and creamy. This place is a must! Wish I would of taken some pics but sorry got caught up and the fat kid in me came out and ate it all up...but next time I will take pics! Believe me there will be a next time SOON!

Excellent place! Small, vibrant setting, right at the bottom of El Yunque. The owner is super nice and helpful, had plenty of tips for PR. The smoothies and crepes were awesome! Would highly recommend coming here while at PR

Wonderful retreat after a hike in El Yunque. Having an açaí bowl and an alcoholic coco whiskey ice cream cone. Yummy!

The location is right next to the burger spot call Mi Vida Cafe as you leave El Yunque. We were beat after the rainforest and stopped by after a burger and fresh lemonade next door and did not regret it. Such a cute place! They make their sorbets, ice cream, and crepes fresh and are super friendly. They also offer alcoholic ice creams! Great treat after your hike my friends and I decided against the naughty flavors and went with parcha, guayaba, and tamarind. All really great. Passion fruit was tangy and refreshing. If you aren't looking for the pucker but still want something refreshing go for the guayana or the tamarind. Really awesome place. REALLY REALLY recommend this spot and wish they were closer to me! See you again soon!!

I absolutely had to squill from being so delighted once I tasted my ice cream because it was just that great to me. This place is definitely a hidden gem. I wish I could pack this shop up and take it back to Chicago with me. Please the service is great!!

This place takes the ice cream game all the way to the top. The staff were so nice. We got our ice creams very quickly for a group of 6. The atmosphere was so nice and friendly. The decor there was cute. I recommend the chocolate crunch ice cream it was so good. In my group Duce de leche, almond, and rumchatta were all 10/10 flavors. Everything was homemade even the cones. Which are fantastic.

What a find... we wish we would have found this on day 1 of our vacation. The crepes are awesome and the helados is delicious.

We stopped by after a few hours hiking and activities. Great little spot very quaint and the helados probably some of the best ones I had. I had the chocolate and nutty almond on their home made waffle cones. Probably some of the better flavored and crafted ice creams you will find that doesn't taste franchised! My friends had the coconut milk shake and another had the crepes. If you're in El Yunque, have 30 minutes or more to spare before your drive back to San Juan go by and check it out!

Great addition to the area! We loved trying this new place out. All freshly made and the staff was amazing!!

Everything here is made in house with natural ingredients!!!!! All flavors taste exquisitely amazing! 2 minutes away from the Yunque rainforest entry! Prices are reasonable- my family enjoyed.

When we went to Peccas, I knew my daughter would try to have the largest amount of ice cream possible, but little did I know I would share it with her. When we got to Peccas, I expected overly sweet flavors, as one does when they come from the states, and I was delighted to discover that there were tastefully made flavors (such as Dulce de Leche, S'mores, and Chocolate Chip, which we ordered and loved) everything was homemade. I absolutely loved the whole experience, from the shop to the owner, everything was nice and gave me the best experience possible. My daughter even declared it the best ice cream she had ever had! Totally looking forward to trying more!

Yum! We were craving ice cream and this was the perfect spot! We tried the pina colada and cheesecake flavors and loved them both! Cute little place!
