Google
The poshest food emporium in central Milan. Beautiful with all the displays of food! An old world experience with the top of every category - ingredients or prepared dishes, you can get it all at Peck on Via Spadari! A bistro on the second floor I’ve yet to try. The gelato was tasty with an okay variety of flavors. The best part a leather seating space to enjoy the gelato in the Air Conditioned shop!

Gourmet food to the max. Excellent shop for purchasing food to go. Excellent bread and cheese section.

Google
The overall experience was fantastic! The Christmas decorations added a lovely touch to the ambiance. The bistro is small, with limited seating, but it has an open kitchen with glass walls, so you can watch the chefs at work. I gave 4 stars for the food because the lasagna’s meat was slightly dry, although it still tasted good. Everything else, especially the fish, was absolutely delicious. The service was fast, but they did forget our drink twice. The highlight for me was the dessert—so tasty! If you’re interested in taking something home, the shop on the ground floor has it all. The gastronomy section is amazing, offering a wide variety of items at reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit!

Google
Top quality traditional high end food store in central Milan. Features include funghi porcini (porcini), foie gras (foie gras), tartufo (truffle), caviale (caviar) and bottarga (dried fish eggs). Strongly recommend !

Initially we thought it is a wine cellar to buy some Italian wine home. Somehow we found it’s also a nice place to sit and drink. There is a mini bar and you can buy your bottle and drink with a service fee charge. They also offer some classy glass wine. The waiters ( I shall say a combination of winery sales, waiter and bar tender) are nice and also knowledgeable about local wine and alcohol. They even order some light food from upstairs restaurant for us to enjoy. I’ve had the most wonderful wine experience there during my whole trip in Lombardy.

Again a wonderful experience. I bought for 150 euros of different prosciuttos. A panetone and a salami. Wonderful place and staff

I loved shopping and dining here! The food and service was incredible

Yelp
We were lucky is have Peck located next to our hotel. We first visited as soon as we arrived to Milan after an 8 hour flight, we were starving. Wow, what a selection of meats, cheeses, prepared foods and so much more. We bought some meats, cheese and fresh bread and brought it back to our hotel. Everything was delicious. We went back another day and ate there. We ordered a selection of small plates and a meat and cheese platter. The service was very nice. They also have a great selection of wines and spirits downstairs.

Yelp
A really robust grocery store with restaurant! The wine, food, and product selection was top notch. You could tell locals stop in for restocking their pantries, preparing that evening's meal, or even gifting. I ate at the restaurant inside by the gelato bar and it was a quick and casual thing. Ordered the classic club sandwich and the salmon club sandwich with mozzarella arancini. It was very filling and tasted great. After, we had gelato and the flavors were wonderful! Hazelnut, caffe, and 70% dark chocolate. So creamy and so flavorful.

Yelp
Great selection. BUT bring a lot of money if you're going to buy anything there. It's very expensively overpriced. You pay for the name. Their Gorgonzola Mascarpone is the best .

Yelp
Great little grocery store in the heart of Milan with a cafe bistro inside named Little Peck "Piccolo Peck". Was excited to find it and we ate in the cafe for dinner one night; lasagne, ravioli and a bottle of water for 36 EURO which we thought was a great deal. They also had a little shop with a great tea selection.

Yelp
A fabulous gourmet shop where you can find an array of cheeses, salami, and pastries, amongst many other ready made Italian dishes to dine in or Take out. The store also houses a cafe/bar to enjoy an aperitivo. This is a lovely place to also shop for goodies such as cookies, cantucci, chocolates, etc to bring back home. We rushed through the shop but I'd definitely return for a bite at the cafe and for a little more leisurely shopping.

Yelp
The food and groceries are amazing. You order what you want from those behind the counter and then they give a ticker that you take to the two cashiers that are sitting there, pay for the goods while the people behind the counter wrap up your goods. They do have a little restaurant/cafe in the middle of the shop. Great place.

Yelp
very nice place to eat. place was air conditioned and the service was good. the food was pretty good.

Yelp
What a place, everything looks so beautiful and good, prices are a little steep but they are presented very well and also tastes very good.

Yelp
Peck is an institution in Milan, a very high end "rosticceria" where you can find everything from meat to ready to eat food to fresh pasta to prosciutti to bread and pastries. There is even a small stand for fresh fruits and veggies. On the second floor there is as bar were you can sit down and enjoy coffee, pastries or lunch. Everything here is top quality, you can't go wrong. Today we got some ricotta and spinach ravioli, which we made with browned butter, sage (fried crispy in the butter), and sprinkled with parmesan cheese. Absolutely spectacular. Then we got some vitello tonnato, a classic northern style cold dish made of thinly sliced veal covered in a tuna/mayo sauce. Absolutely outstanding. Exactly like my mom used to make, very rare to find such a good vitello tonnato outside home. It's a bit pricey but it's expected, you should not go if you are on a budget... The ordering system is quite messy and old fashioned, there is no line, everybody has to keep track of who was first, they only shout "next". A numbering system would help, especially tourists out foreigners. Also, they give you a weird card, that you should bring around the various sections, if you're buying from many places, and then you go to the cashier. Once you'be paid, you go back to each station with the receipt to get your stuff. Very inconvenient and counterintuitive. Despite this, it's a 5* in my book, quality wins.

Yelp
HEAVEN. I was drooling over everything sold here. Nothing but high quality food and wine, they have gourmet everything. Had a lovely picnic and came here to buy snacks and wine. Bought bread, paté, robiola cheese, funghi, seafood and of course wine- it was all delicious! Must come here when in Milan, just a MUST.

Yelp
Amazing food, service and ambiance. Christian and his team were amazing. The arancini (both ) were the best we have ever had! Melt in your mouth. Best to make reservations.

Yelp
There is only one word to describe Peck and that is exceptional. Quality and attention to detail. Wonderful food and wine selection.

Yelp
I visited Peck and only the gourmet deli market part of the shop. Pointed out by my tour guide, I returned later and picked up a small bit of cheese and some crackers to have as a snack in the hotel room. Easy enough to understand the prices and find something small enough to make as a snack, the shop has all sorts of tasty goodies including cheeses and meats and savories and yes, lots of sweets. The young lady who rang up my sale might not have understood English, but that's not important when all you need to do is insert a credit card. Good stuff and an easy shop. Yelp
My first stop when visiting Milan, drop luggage, shower and walk to Peck and eat then repeat. The cafe within is delightful with the freshest ingredients imaginable! After eating then fill the apartment pantry with fresh fruit, nuts, pastries and every nibble you might ever dream of! Just a culinary delight! Go and enjoy.

Yelp
This reminds me of Eataly. A market place where you can purchase food and grocery items, bread, dessert, fresh pasta to go or dine in. We choose to dine in one afternoon. Bread was served fresh to each table. Great drink selection & a very large menu. Staff was very nice and inviting. Made recommendations on menu items and made it an overall great time. Highly recommend this location whether you're hungry or just want to shop

Yelp
We visited this place during our layover. The restaurant was located on the second floor. There was a food shop on the first floor, where you can buy dessert, cold cuts, tea, pasta and other delicious items. There was also a school like area. Because of it was raining outside, we decided to have brunch here. It costed 60 euro per person, which was very pricy. Food was very good. You can definitely sample a good selection of items that they offer from downstairs. The staff were very welcoming and professional. Definitely expect to spend more than 2 hours at this place to try everything.

Yelp
This is the restaurant that I ate at 2 years ago, it took me almost 2 hours to find again. They can cook!! I should also mention the service is top notch, you will not leave here unhappy.

Yelp
The most beautiful, upscale food emporium in Milano. Just off the Piazza al Duomo, the store is on a small street Via Speronari. The windows will make you drool immediately. The counters are organized by type of food and these are displayed as if they are jewels. I was amazed by the prepared dishes with seafood and vegetables. The colors are so bright and everything is picturesque. If you are looking to impress guests or a potential significant other with a meal in your home, you cannot go wrong with food from Peck. Just be sure you have a large balance in the bank to cover the costs.

Yelp
Located on a side street about a minute walk from the Duomo, Peck is a good place to stop by to see and shop the various gourmet food and wine as well as dine at the restaurant upstairs. The wine selection is in the basement. The ground floor has the retail section with desserts, deli, meats, etc. The upstairs restaurant is popular with the locals as well as the tourists. The lighting is a bit too bright for my taste since it sorta reflects off the white table cloth, but a lot of businessmen are there so it's a good place for office luncheons. There's also free wifi; my waiter brought me the passcode without me asking. I had a delicious house made pasta with pork sausage that the waiter recommended for lunch. The wait staff are friendly and speak English. The bread basket is nothing special, but the pasta is delicious. It came out piping hot, and the pasta was cooked al dente just the way I like it! I didn't have dessert, but they have a cart that they push to your table so you can see which one you like. I also took awhile after finishing my meal to sip on the sparkling water since I had a whole bottle. I like that the waiter didn't rush me. Overall, a yummy, non-tourist trap restaurant conveniently located in the touristy Duomo area.

Yelp
Came here for lunch on a rec with regards to great risotto on the 2nd floor ( restaurant level) Was immediately given table with bread and a small, light tomato gazpacho (which was delicious!). opted for the Risotto Milanese and a plate of Spinach Raviolo. Ordered a glass of wine to go with the meal and can say it was outstanding. Ravioli was light not to thick and full of flavor, while risotto was unbelievable. Would highly recommend if you're in the Duomo area.

Yelp
I say skip this place. Nice staff. It is an eatly wannabe. Lots of history but the food selection is very limited. The smoked salmon was raw salmon smoked some how but very raw. Great prices on cheese to take home if you are local.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a must for anyone looking for a classy, cozy, Milanese classic. Pricing is keeping lots of tourists out and it's a good thing in this area of Milan. Ambiance. Classy, stylish Art Deco ( I think -) decor. Nicely lit and airy. Service is awesome. Attentive, polite but not stuffy. Food: oh Mama. Octopus salad is a must have even if you hate octopus. You just must. Veal Milanese is a classic Milan dish. The same here. You must. Price: not too bad if you split the entree, which is big enough for two.

Yelp
I have tried Peck for brunch and was pretty much satisfied with my experience here. Peck is absolutely a high scale restaurant with premium Italian food- this is also reflected in the bill. Brunch is served as a buffet and you can try everything from cheese to prosciutto to seafood and even sushi! They also have a very nice selection of desserts. So, if you decided to splurge on food once in a while Peck is a good one!

Yelp
A great place to lose your whole paycheck in food and wine alone - but so worth it. There's a Rick Steves episode on Milan and Lake Como where he goes to this place, but it's really worth the trip for quality foods done artfully and with extreme care. From different meats and cheeses to artisanal snacks and wine, Peck will satisfy any bourgeois craving you might have. A must for any communist in cashmere ;-)

Yelp
Just steps away from the cathedral duomo- great place for a lunch before or after exploring for the day. Menu is comprehensive, ranging from classic italian dishes to dishes with a spin. Enjoyed the cacio e Pepe with pear and the aubergene parmesan. Prices were ~25 euro per person with no drinks. Fresh made pasta at its finest with excellent service.

Yelp
This is not a wine bar....they have an incredible range of wine bar and yes you can try some. But its not a wine bar. If you want a wine bar go elsewhere....is what i'm saying. If you are very wealthy and would like to pay over the top prices for select luxury products then do come here. You will be very happy.

Yelp
When I entered they were quick to seat me and take my coat. They brought me a bottle of water while I looked at the menu. I ordered the risotto with saffron, which was fantastic. When asked, my waiter recommended a delicious red wine that paired well with the risotto. The meal also came with bread. For dessert I ordered the chocolate. Absolutely to die for. The cookies brought free with the icing on the cake. Flawless meal. Not as pricey as expected

Yelp
Friends of mine suggested to have a lunch in this location, which has a wonderful atmosphere. The staff is attentive and discrete. On the ground floor there is a delicatessen shop, where you can have brunch. On the first floor is the dining area. As I hadn't much hunger, I chose only a firsts course platter, which was ravioli with ricotta and spinach in sage and butter sauce. I accompanied it with one glass of red wine of the house (Brunello Di Montalcino). The pasta was a delight to eat. It melted on the tongue releasing the taste of ricotta and spinach. I enjoyed every bite and every sips of wine. The wine was fruity and you could taste the full aroma of the grape. (After the course I had just another one). I finished the meal with the chocolate dessert of the house, consisting of cream on a biscuit enveloped by squares of chocolate. To die for. Definitely a spot I would revisit.

Yelp
This review is for the bistro located on the ground floor. Peck also has two other restaurants in the same building. Service was bad but Italians aren't know for their service. Food was nice. Had the eggplant parmigiana (special of the day) which was flavorful. Companion had the tuna salad which was also good. Good place to stop for a nice lunch.

Yelp
Awesome selection, friendly staff, reasonable prices, delicious food. We were staying in a hotel, so they heated up the food and packed it with utensils. We plan to go back before leaving Italy. Would *definitely* go!
google avatar

William G.

Yelp
Very good food at the restaurant, however I feel the main attraction must be the food hall. Whilst an odd system it does make it less clunky to carry around and you can source a wonderful picnic for the nearby parks or in front of the Duomo. Be sure to pick up a large (and they mean large!) Gelato. The most creamy lovely treat ever to be devised and far better than typical ice cream!

Yelp
My wife had this place bookmarked and we were lucky enough to find it in the pouring rain on our first day in Italy. This was a much needed relief! The service was beyond perfect. When we walked in, we were a bit indecisive about whether we wanted to eat here or not. The host let us walk around and see what they have, without any pressure. We quickly realized it was good idea, and they sat us immediately. Probably the cleanest buffet I've ever had the pleasure to pig out at. All the plates and silverware were spotless and so shiny you can check your hair in the reflection. The tablecloths were immaculate. Every item was carefully crafted, and seemed to consist of high quality, local ingredients. The prosciutto and other cured meats blew my mind. And interestingly, they seemed to bring out new stuff to the buffet as time went by. I've never seen this before. At 60€ per head, it is kinda expensive. And at that price point, I would've expected a lot more choices, not that it would've made a difference because I was stuffed like a Thanksgiving turkey.

Yelp
So sometimes when you are eating bruschetta you feel like it is missing something. You think ... "damn this bruschetta would be so much better if I had balsamic vinegar ..." Then you are like, "fuck ... I don't have any ..." The sadness overwhelms you. (Like when you overeat soggy pasta and cry all night because you paid 60 euro for it) But suddenly you are like wait, and you totally remember ... "I'm in fucking Italy right now yo." (A small lightbulb appears overhead - like LED sized) You think, "OK I'm gonna Google the shit out of this." You learn that Modena, (the city famous for many things including the birthplace of Enzo Ferrari who started a small car company of the same last name), is actually where balsamic vinegar originated. Adrenalin surges. "Oh fuck, I'm gonna go to Modena and get balsamic!" (A huge light bulb appears overhead - like street lamp sized) But then it hits you. "God dammit, I'm in Milan right now ..." (The huge lightbulb explodes shattering glass all over you. Blood streams down your face. It is glossy. Viscous. A dark reddish-brown. You taste it. It does not taste anything like balsamic vinegar). You feel sad. Oh so sad. Because you really had your heart set on buying a Ferrari. You have forgotten your goals. Your dreams. Your bruschetta. Then you remember the thing that is known as the grocery store. You connect this idea with the concept of "googling the shit out of things" ... And you learn of a thing called Peck. They do not sell Ferraris - but they do sell balsamic vinegar that seems just as expensive. They have many things in this gorgeous store - and the balsamic vinegar does not disappoint. From Modena even. Worth the $200+ bucks you will pay for it? I don't know, and I don't care. My bruschetta tastes sublime. And I just saved $249,800 dollars ... and who knows how fucking much on car insurance.

Yelp
Peck is a very high-end specialty food store. A great place to browse, but the prices are awfully high if you're actually going to buy anything. It looked like pretty much everything was private labeled (Peck brand). If there is something you're looking for, I'm sure you'll find it here--it seems like they have everything. From smoked meats, seafood, breads, and fresh pastas, to desserts, candies, and chocolates--this would be a great place to buy gifts for the foodies in your life.

Yelp
Great place to shop and eat in Milan. It's very close to the Duomo and city center. Staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. Make time to go here for a posh cultural Italian experience!
google avatar

Alan B.

Yelp
This is the most beautiful deli Ive seen. Actually, deli isn't really accurate. It is a higher end, more specialty oriented version of perhaps the Whole Foods(or Draegers) deli+cheese-counter+prepared-foods+bread. We had a number of the prepared dishes: ravioli, a baked eggplant dish, and a few others as well as something from the cheese counter, a Mortadella, something from the bread counter, some anchovy+caper stuffed pepper, and a few other things. They have a great selection of cured meats as you would expect in Italy. And a very large selection of cheeses from around Europe. The only downside is that it is very expensive. Two people, with eyes bigger than their stomachs, can easily spend 80 Euros on dinner. Of course, it is central Milan and it is a very upscale concept.
google avatar

Samuel W.

Yelp
Must visit in Milan , more than a restaurant. After a fine meal you could should for Italian gourmet delights at the store below .
google avatar

Annie H.

Yelp
High end (No joke on the high end, $6,400 euro a kg of truffles when you walk in) deli with lots of pre-made items to choose from, fruit section, olive oil/vinegar section, and a very interesting meat section with exotic fouls and their heads still on so you can identify what that bird is you just ordered. Friendly service to match the price (I'm being sarcastic here), I learned from the rolled eyes that asking for recommendations is annoying. Got it. Minus 2 stars for that, but otherwise this store is a delight to browse and pick up some nice gourmet items.
google avatar

Stephanie L.

Yelp
My review is for the ground-level shop. I found the atmosphere and service pleasant (not overwhelming and crowded). Their approach to tallying the bill worked smoothly and I was comfortable with the prices. I asked for a cheese recommendation and the one they selected for me was nice. I would be more enthusiastic except that the roll I purchased (for my little picnic, to accompany the cheese) was dry and flavorless. I could barely tear through the crust with my teeth (not being equipped with a serrated knife). I threw most of it away, and since I am a breadie, that's saying a lot.
google avatar

David B.

Yelp
Traditional Milano cuisine served upstairs in a nice staid atmosphere. I enjoyed the tradicional tasting menu with braseola, then risotto Milano, veal Milanese, and dessert. BEST veal Milanese of alltime. Drank champagne. Magnificent.
google avatar

R C.

Yelp
this review concerns the ground floor cafe, where my wife and i took an open seat in a booth area as this place seemed to have an open seating and place was nearly empty. it was shortly after 11 am. then a discombobulated woman came to us and told us to move to the center area. we asked her in a polite manner to move us to a more discreet corner area. we pointed to the tables. she let us know in a rude way that everything was booked, however, there were no booking signs on tables. we felt she was lying and being difficult and so we left the place.

Yelp
peck is a gastronomic delight in the centre of milan fairly close to the cathedral (duomo) this is the delicatessan that sets the standard for the rest of the world - there's just so much great stuff under one roof - and they will ship your order anywhere .... trading since 1883 peck is THE place to shop for : - the very best of cheese, hams, wines from every region of italy & other parts of europe/the world - the best olive/aromatic oils and flavoured balsamics - fantastic selection of chocolates, speciality biscuits/cakes

Edward K.

Yelp
Had the worst experience in Peck. The waiter that was serving us was super rude and impatient. Service was a total 0!! The food however was not bad.

Yamile E.

Yelp
Amazing place!! Service and food were exquisite. I will come back before I go back home to bring some pastries with me!

Ming T.

Yelp
Ate at the first floor bistro for lunch. The lasagna special was excellent. The caprese salad had a huge portion of mozzarella. I recommend the meat and cheese assortment.

F C.

Yelp
I have been to this place so many times and each time it surprises me. Quality of food is simply unsurpassed. Expensive, but worth it every penny. Curiously, they don't sell grana padano. But their parmigiano is so good that that becomes a minor flaw. Having a conversation with the people st the deli is like taking mini advanced lessons in culinary arts.

Rebecca M.

Yelp
This place is like Whole Foods on steroids! The have a most luscious display for all of their goods and a few things you can sample when you go inside. The range of food that they have is vast from fresh seafood to robust and fresh tea leaves and of course a wine cellar downstairs. Upstairs is their restaurant which I didn't go because it is extremely pricey. It's quite an amazing experience to even walk around the inside. Sorry I've got no photos to post--my phone was stolen.

Bonita S.

Yelp
Our lunch was elegant but the waiters were kind of disjointed! Expensive but expected! I am a fan of Peck. I go there every time I am in Milan.
