I'll just keep this short and sweet. We showed up here at around 3/4pm last Friday with our dog (not a problem at all). We took a seat at one of the picnic tables and my wife went inside to get us a tasting. Apparently she had to almost get a bullhorn and say HEY really loud to get one of the people working the bar to even notice her (NOTE: there were about 3 people at the bar). She brought the first two tastings back, and they were meh.
Ok, next round, I go back in to get the next two tastings--which were actually only one. So, I go up to the counter and tell the woman that we're doing the tasting and that we'd like the next two tastings. Here is how the next dialogue went, almost word for word:
Rude woman: I don't know what tasting you're doing.
Me: Oh....um....we're doing the six tasting.
Girl who helped my wife who was stocking stuff at the other end of the bar: Yeah, I helped them, they're doing the six tasting.
Rudey McRuderson: (To the other girl) Oh, so what wines are next?
Semi-nice girl: They actually get to choose them.
Rudey: Oh, ok. What wines would you like?
Me: Ok, ummm....(looking at the menu)...can we try the Riesling and.....[she pours two tastings of the Riesling in the glasses we just used for the other wines]....
So, at this point, I'm over this place. The servers (at least this particular woman) were rude, the wines were not great, they reused the same glasses we had the other wines in (hey, I'm all for being green, but come on...), they didn't seem to care at all, really. So yeah, done-zo.
The ONLY saving grace, and the reason I give this place two stars as opposed to one is the nice woman who brought a bottle of water and a bowl out for our dog. Outside of that, there was not much going for this place.
