Pedder Wilderness Lodge (Open 10am-4pm)

We had our wedding at Pedder Wilderness Lodge in June this year and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Sarah and her team were absolutely incredible—so accommodating and easy to work with. As we were planning from interstate, their flexibility and local knowledge made a huge difference. They gave us practical advice around travel times, what to expect for the season, and how to keep our guests safe and comfortable in the area. The day itself was amazing. The venue is stunning, the meals were fantastic, and all of our guests had such a great time. Everyone commented on how beautiful the location was and how much they enjoyed their meals. We’re so thankful to Sarah and the team for helping make our wedding day everything we dreamed of—and more!

My 3rd visit. I just love the relaxed feel of this lodge in the wilderness. The newly renovated rooms are fantastic. The bathroom is huge! Love kicking back on a comfy lounge by the fire. I had a delicious meal, top notch. And the staff are so warm and friendly.

Simply brilliant.|Do yourself a favour and stay here, and even more you have to eat here.|The food is fabulous|Service is brilliant. On top of that the restaurant is warm and cozy. And even better the location is to die for.|Came with friends and enjoyed every moment.

After visiting Mountfield national park and then Gordons Dam we stopped here about 3pm for a later lunch. The Kitchen had closed but the staff didnt turn us away, instead they pointed out on the menu the stuff they could still do for us.||I had a Meat Lovers pizza and it was fantastic! ||Honestly we could not thank the wonderful staff enough and even bought a lovely art print of Tasmania from there reception.||Definitely worth a stop on the way back from or to Gordons Dam||Thanks!

We came here for my fiancée's 30th birthday lunch, we didn't have high expectations as it's the only option within an hour's drive and thought it might end up being the 'bare minimum' as a result. How wrong we were. It has beautiful view, the food was all absolutely delicious. They brought out a free glass of birthday champaign for her which, being the clutz that she is, she immediately spilt all over the table and they immediately replaced it for free again. We ordered coffees at the end and they came full of so many extras (cream, spoons etc) that it was more link milkshakes (they asked if we'd like it like that in advance). There's a spot to swim just in front of it, a bar, inside and outside seating, games, all very clean, the staff were all very friendly. Was a great time.

We stopped in here for lunch and it was just lovely. Beautiful restaurant with views to die for. Food was delicious. Excellent service too.

Our CTST outing cam for lunch today 3rd June. Staff were lovely and helpfull, the food was great. Worth the drive!

Great stop for lunch. The view is amazing. Huge glass windows taking in lake Pedder. Fire place and Good food and a bar.
