Pedder Wilderness Lodge

We had our wedding at Pedder Wilderness Lodge in June this year and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Sarah and her team were absolutely incredible—so accommodating and easy to work with. As we were planning from interstate, their flexibility and local knowledge made a huge difference. They gave us practical advice around travel times, what to expect for the season, and how to keep our guests safe and comfortable in the area. The day itself was amazing. The venue is stunning, the meals were fantastic, and all of our guests had such a great time. Everyone commented on how beautiful the location was and how much they enjoyed their meals. We’re so thankful to Sarah and the team for helping make our wedding day everything we dreamed of—and more!

What a fantastic find while driving around the river systems. We were greeted warmly, shown a menu, great coffee and beautiful view. The young guy serving us gave us some background on the lodge which was interesting. Our meal was excellent by any standard. Can imagine staying there and enjoying those big leather couches with the fire going in the evenings. We would highly recommend factoring a stop off here for a meal whilst taking in the beautiful scenery.

My 3rd visit. I just love the relaxed feel of this lodge in the wilderness. The newly renovated rooms are fantastic. The bathroom is huge! Love kicking back on a comfy lounge by the fire. I had a delicious meal, top notch. And the staff are so warm and friendly.

Pure magic. We will be back. The facilities, rooms and surrounds are what dreams are made of. We will be back. Kid friendly. Perfect place to come and settle in by the open fire. The indoor swimming pool and the indoor sports court is amazing. Our boys had the best time.

This place is a hidden gem, the drive in scenery is stunning, the resort rooms are tastefully designed, the restaurant, bar and other facilities are fantastic, the staff are super friendly and the lake itself is fabulous, great place to unwind.

After visiting Mountfield national park and then Gordons Dam we stopped here about 3pm for a later lunch. The Kitchen had closed but the staff didnt turn us away, instead they pointed out on the menu the stuff they could still do for us.||I had a Meat Lovers pizza and it was fantastic! ||Honestly we could not thank the wonderful staff enough and even bought a lovely art print of Tasmania from there reception.||Definitely worth a stop on the way back from or to Gordons Dam||Thanks!

Simply brilliant.|Do yourself a favour and stay here, and even more you have to eat here.|The food is fabulous|Service is brilliant. On top of that the restaurant is warm and cozy. And even better the location is to die for.|Came with friends and enjoyed every moment.

Only had lunch and everything was amazing! From the coffee to the garlic pizza (best ever!) to the chicken snitzel and the calamari. Highly recommend!
