I stayed here for two nights over a weekend and can't recommend the place highly enough. We were a large group and had breakfasts, lunches and dinners here. There was no need to leave. We found the perfect cozy spot by the fireplace at night, and loved being under the grapevine in the beer garden during the day. Made friends with some of the locals and other tourists passing through. Some were staying across the road at the caravan park, but the bar and restaurant kept drawing them in.
I had a burger, steak sandwich and the full breakfast was a perfect way to start the day. Such lovely staff who all genuinely care about how you're enjoying your stay. And the bed was amazingly comfortable too. I knew it was going to be a great country pub, but there were absolutely zero compromises. You must visit if you're in the area.
