We had such a lovely little getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary! The staff were amazing, the food was absolutely delicious, and we enjoyed the best night's sleep on the comfy king-size bed. I really loved how the rooms were set up, and there are so many charming outdoor spots to chill and relax. It was the perfect escape! Thanks.

We ate here a few times on our visit to Nundle and it's been great. Fresh food cooked well at fair prices. Also Monday to Thursday they have $18 specials, I had the Chicken Schnitzel and was pleasantly surprised it was a freshly prepared house made Schnitzel. Other meals we tried and recommend are the steaks, trout (fresh or smoked) and the roast chicken. Thankyou to the Chef, your meals are very appreciated.

We went to Tamworth this weekend for our annual birthday trip to see somewhere new. We got recommended to go to Nundle on the way back home and the pub did not disappoint. Got the Angus beef burger and the fresh baked trout and both were 10/10. Couldn't believe the quality from such a tiny little town pub. Blew our socks off, we'll be back for sure! Compliments to the chef!

The Peel Inn is a great example of what is good about Australian country pubs. The size of it harks back to an era when country hotels were a keystone of rural commerce but it hasn’t been left to decay like many of its oversized siblings across NSW. It’s in good shape, without losing its historic charm, and the rooms have been very comfortably fitted out. The highlight for me was that massive upstairs veranda! It’s such a comfortable and character-filled space to sit back and sip a coldy as your fellow guests do their comings & goings. The food was great. The cooked brekky included in the room charge was perfect, and the vine-covered deck out back was the perfect place to eat it. Add to that the very sociable locals and a good selection of beers and you’ve got a real pearl. I’ll be back.

Worth a stop, lovely pub with gorgeous beer garden, great food & friendly service. Smoked brown trout was amazing. Live music during country music festival was fantastic!

The Schofield family certainly know how to run a pub. The food…we started with buffalo wings then I had local trout served with beans and potatoes… my husband had the scotch fillet steak (cooked to perfection) with mash and veg. (All veg inclusive in price) $99 for everything. So happy. Then you have the beer garden under a huge vine which is gorgeous on a sunny day. Our dogs were able to join us and some kids played with them on the huge lawned area. Bubbles were fresh and beer was cold!! It’s ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from us.

Yelp
Terrible service. Took over an hour to get our food. Food is average. I do not recommend

Yelp
Had the pleasure of enjoying a fantastic meal at the Peel Inn tonight. For pub grub it was restaurant quality. Great value for money with friendly service and the meal was served in an appropriate time. Will be back.

Yelp
A reasonable ala carte menu. Kitchen opens at 6:30pm and it's best to get your order in early during peak times (for example the easter gold festival). A typical country pub with a selection of beer on tap that you would expect for the upper hunter. Service is with a smile, even though the locals are less friendly. Always our dinner choice over the easter long weekend.
