10/10 all the way around. We sat down and were greeted by the sweetest kitty. I got the the Peers Sandwich with pickled eggplant and bacon, holy cow. It was the best sandwich I’ve had the longest time. My mom had the Thai pasta salad and it was so good I had to order one to go with chicken instead of shrimp. Food was to die for and the hospitality was great too. We live in placencia and will be back as soon as we can be. The Boozy cherry desert was delightful as well!

There are many places time choose from in Hopkins. Peers is unique, well curated, and full of charm. The attention to details nourishes the senses. The food and coffee is delicious! We have had, breakfast and dinner here. The view of the Sea is also quite welcoming.

Absolutely amazing! The owners are so kind and the service was so fast, they have so many cute things to take home. The food is absolutely outstanding, so delicious. Would recommend to everyone!!

I enjoyed breakfast with friends one morning, ordering the lazy omelette, which was hashbrowns covered with cheese and bacon garnished with fruit. One of the best breakfast’s I’ve ever had. The pressure was on for lunch. I ordered their famous thick cut pork chop weighing in about a pound, and it was perfectly cooked and just as delicious. FYI, the owner is a nice guy, but don’t be scared away because of his dryer sense of humor. I went back for a third time the next morning before I flew out for the lazy omelette. Just as good as the first time. Enjoy as I did!

Best food and service in Hopkins - hands down. Try it first thing! We literally ate there every day for 5 days after we discovered it including getting to go dishes. The atmosphere is great including the curmudgeonly owner we got to know a bit. Ask about the cats as they have the run of the place. I particularly recommend the pastas, salads and vegan options. Smoothies are very good too. Reasonable prices and good service - a real contrast to the very slow and not very amenable service we had else where.

Best place we ate in Hopkins all week! The grumpy German owner is fantastic and his cats are more personable. The food here is excellent and the atmosphere is just amazing. Steps from the beach and a fruit stand. Hopkins is very impoverished so it was nice to step into somewhere a little nicer than the other roadside establishments that are seedy at best.

We stopped here for dinner because the warmly lit atmosphere looked so inviting and cozy from the street! We were happy to see a vegan section on the menu so we stayed! It was delicious and the service was friendly. The vegan options are good, and there is a pasta and some others on the menu that can be made vegan. The prices are decent. The pickled eggplant is to die for. I recommend asking for it with any dish you get. They also sell high quality dark chocolate bars.

Food fantastic! Service… slow to warm up to. Cold Russian shoulder were the first impressions. The cat ‘Sunny’ also not friendly. The other cat is cool. Our server is very artistic and you can see her creativity in the ambiance of the place. Eclectic and deliberate while being open and warm. Just don’t expect a hug at the end of the meal. The food is also creative and fresh, fun, festive and full of unique flavors. We had the tropical stroganoff and Bangkok dish. Would eat again. I want to try the bacon and pickled eggplant next.
