Peet’s Coffee

I ordered a havanna cappuchino from a Peets at the Dulles Airport concourse B. The barista did not know what condensed milk was, and when showed what it was it looked like she gave up pumping condensed milk because it was too thick. She and the other employees had a conversation in a non english language where they were laughing about my order in front of me as if I did not understand the general subject of the conversation they were having. I question if my coffee was made correctly, and I do not feel comfortable with the employees speaking a language other than English after I had asked them to use condensed milk instead of regular milk.

Really needed coffee for a very early flight out of Dulles. The Peet's was supposed to open at 4 AM but apparently that meant they show up for work at 4? There was a line of about 20 people before Naol finally was ready and opened the gate at 4:10. She got me my coffee and my pastries and didn't wear gloves after counting the money in the register. Gross.

This is absolutely disgusting. How can you possibly mess up brownies? I paid just over eight dollars for a brownie and a small coffee. The coffee is bitter, like it's burned. The brownie tastes like it was dipped in battery acid. It's beyond disgusting. They also have a tip jar and when you swipe your car, it asks if you'd like to tip. For what? Food poisoning? Causing my taste buds to temporarily disappear? Go to Chick-fil-A next door if you're needing sustenance. This place is not worth your money. Everyone sitting around me chose Chick-fil-A, and now, I understand why they're eating with such enjoyment! 😭😭😭 Edited to say no wait time, but I think it's because everyone knows how terrible it is!

This is the slowest service in the entire terminal. No sense of urgency to make food, drink, or payment. The line goes to 20-person long and the manager just doesn't care about it. Management needs improvement and focus to address the slow service issue otherwise this is upsetting customers.

If I could give zero stars I would. We ordered two medium hot caramel macchiatos with oatmilk and a croissant. We watched as our drinks were made improperly as were handed small cups that were LATTES. We mentioned to the working team that we ordered Medium cups and that we were watching and it was made improperly. I asked for them to be completely remade. I'm a chef of 20+ years and my mom is an exbarista. She turned around and poured them into bigger cups and was just ready to steam more milk. The gentleman who rang up our order came back from fraternizing with the business next door and we told him what happened. He asked them to remake them. While being remade she turned to ask me how she should make it and I told her "just make it how you make it" I'm not ordering coffee at the airport because I want to teach people, I'm here to drink the coffee. We were handed our medium cups, which I opened to check because I could not bare to watch her remake them, was as only 3/4 full just the same as when she poured the small cup portion cup. Walked away disappointed and now we're here. I would not recommend this coffee shop but if it's your only option, maybe stick with even more basic coffee options unless you see an experienced barista.

Didn’t open on time. They lost business because we had to leave after waiting on them to open. Place looked clean enough.

The guy who made my coffee this morning is beyond amazing (im sorry...i didn't get yr name; the order was made between 6-6:20am). The coffee with brown sugar jelly he made was really good!!!!! He is a problem solver. The coffee i order was out and he made it with diff type of coffee. And made sure it tastes great. Love his attitude and the coffee he made!!! Love his positive energy and spirit as well. He is great at customer service. It's not just simply a coffee ordering process, but he made the entire experience amazing. Totally surpass my expectation.

Ordered a latte. Was served in a timely matter and latte is better than Starbucks!

It's your average airport coffee. I like iced coffee and they did not have a huge variety of drinks. Instead, I got coffee flavored coffee. No big deal, but would prefer more options. The muffin looked good, but in the end it was dry and tasted bland. It did the job for a quick coffee, but it's nothing more than a quick coffee.

Arrived at the airport for a morning flight. Was looking forward to a Matcha Latte. The workers said there wasn't any available including Horchata, Chai Tea, Lemonades and flavors and all teas! WTH.. They only had coffee and hardly any pastries at 9:15am. They are at a prime spot and no non coffee choices!!! Definitely not good for business!!! So disappointing. Please do better.

Great coffee .Love the flavor . Will visit Peets coffee from now on. Bog kine but the waiter was patient.

The tip is mandatory to purchase a coffee at this place. I wouldn't't recommend it. There are so many better options at this terminal.

Bad service. I ordered a drink. They ran out of it after I paid for it. They offered me a different drink. I was good with that. However they were not willing to refund the difference. Quality of the coffee was not great

Peet's Coffee unparalleled quality, now at Washington Dulles airport, Terminal B, across from Gate B47! Great coffee, excellent selection of teas, and fresh breads and pastries, everything you came to expect from Peet's. I had an Earl Grey hot tea and an apple pastry; the tea was excellent, the same I always order, and the pastry was crunchy and buttery, a great comfort after a long day traveling!

The workers were nice, but the "pumpkin" latte was pretty lacking. It tasted just like a plain coffee, so what was the point of paying over 6 dollars? I went back to ask for more pumpkin syrup but even then I really could not taste much. I also wanted to get an empty cup, but they said no free cups. I've never heard of such a policy before? Strange.

Overpriced for the poor quality of food/drinks. The turkey provolone sandwich I got was pretty bad. The bread was dry, there was barely any turkey, and there were no condiments inside or offered in separate packets. The coffee is not that great, either. I do not recommend the food at this location in Dulles Airport.

Ambience is a coffee shop with warm tones of color, splashing throughout and comfy couch and chairs with the smell of coffee in the air. It needs to be cleaned up a little bit better. The food is sold out by afternoon. But unfortunately, Open to bugs flying around again, go back to not the cleanest I used to be a member, but the coffee here was not made well. It was burnt and not mixed although colleague of mine said that the chai was OK The staff were friendly enough, and although seem to be shortstaffed, and in a training of new staff, this is the reason why I gave it a three, because I wanted to give it initially 2 (the coffee was horrible) I will go back just to see if it has improved and 2024

Sunday, June 11, 2023 around 11-1130am. The worst experience i've had with Peets so far. Whoever is in charge of this location needs to do some surprise visits. Upon arrival the metal cage was halfway open. The front wasn't being monitored. Trash and coffee stains everywhere. Anyone could have taken a sandwhich or water from the front open fridge area. At least a sign saying be back in x amount of minutes could have been decent, maybbeee? Thennn, after sitting for a good 10 mins a person arrives and moving at the speed of lanky, turns out to be the person running the place. Everyone should have seen this guys dress up for work. Dress code was super casual. Gray sweats, long sleeve sweatshirt, crocs with socks. Commee oonnn, did you just get out of bed to make my drink? Wheres the presentation? I get it, it's hard to find good work these days. I'm also not expecting to have my drink made from a person in a business suit. But you could at least look the part and not make my drink to bring peets coffee class & qualities lower. Sorry Peet's but this guys bringing your image down. Who did the hiring? On to my drink order lol. I ordered a dark chocolate latte, and i love this drink. I watched the employee decide to pump chocolate syrup, add expresso, pump more chocolate syrup, little ice, and then fill the rest of my large cup with milk. The end result was not how my drink usually looks. I overpaid for a drink that tastes worse than a hazelnut iced coffee from Mcdonalds. Then, not sure if im just being picky? But this employee comes back from who knows where. I didnt see hand washing before my drink was made, and he kept putting his hands in his pockets as he was making my drink. Is that weird? Anyway, Peet's there needs to be some education involved with your employee and just some simple cleaning could improve this location immensely Thank you to those for taking the time to read

Wow. 6am. Coffee was perfect (and I am a Starbucks fan). Service was fantastic. Waleed greeted me with an amazing smile, kindness and a good morning that just tells you it is going to be a great day. And oh the croissant was fresh!! Thank you Waleed!

Worst coffee I've ever tasted. Even the black coffee here is terrible. I don't know what it is about this location since I've been to Pete's coffee before and it was fine. Pastries were also stale and they were out of everything. Would rather go to Dublin or capital coffee next time.

if you're going to have to spend the price at the airport for a Chai Latte and muffin go elsewhere. On my way to my gate, I decided to get a little wake me up. simply put. The hot chai latte has no taste, and the banana muffin is just super doughy. Recommend the regional manager conduct on site quality checks on how personnel prepare drinks and ensure quality of their product.

I went a 8:45 pm 9/12/2022 the two lady's said no mocha coffee and no espresso OMG they ready to close

I just wanna say that Philip is the best worker. Mans took my trash after i finished eating my delicious yogurt. Best employee ever make this man manager on baby!
