I’ve come to Peggy Sue’s quite a few times over the years. My first impression after not being there in a while was this place looks really rundown. Although, the servers are always polite and welcoming.
However, there’s a miscommunication between them and their cooks. I have a specific allergy that I make very clear to them every time I go. Quite a few times I have gotten my food back with the seasoning that I requested not be put on my food due to the fact that it makes me ill.
Furthermore, their sign in their door doesn’t match the price at the register which I find a bait and switch. I requested my onions to be grilled, but they tried to charge me $2 more dollars for that.
The server gave me the wrong drink, but luckily caught it in time. She didn’t check my food to make sure my allergy was taken care of. Lastly, the quality of the food just wasn’t great. My burger was soggy, my tomatoes were overly ripe, and my fries overly seasoned with garlic. I didn’t even finish my meal.
