soup - good. tomato salad - nice. cod - perfect. rice with shellfish - good, little bit salty. we got our food after a while, and got our desert for free, thanks :-) waiter was very very nice and gave really good service. for some reason, host added bread for 2.5€ just before printing the bill. luckily we noticed and got that removed. also the entrees (8€ worth) at the beginning are unnecessary.

Incredible grilled fish, lovely ceviche, amazing service! Was great for kids And an all around great experience. It was expensive for Portugal, but worth it. Octopus carpaccio, bass ceviche, grilled wild sea bass were it favorites.

The food was nice with very good portion sizes. The service was very friendly and fun. It is a bit pricey but we thought it was worth it!

Delicious food and friendly staff! A must go when you're in Lisboa and love to eat fish. We shared the carpaccio de polvo, marinated salmon with passion fruit, shrimps with garlic and marinated brass. You have to discover the salmon with passion fruit! Would definitely come back.

The food was amazing and the service was impeccable. One of the best meals I've had in Lisbon.

Wow. We had 3 different raw/marinated fish for appetizers. Our main dishes were grilled octopus and shrimp. One of the appetizers was tuna---it was completely tender/melt-in-the-mouth with a lively mango sauce. Even top restaurants (including sushi places) in large cities in the US rarely have tuna this good. I commented that it's nearly impossible to get shrimp better than what we had here. My SO pointed out that there was a 3-star (Michelin) in Spain that had better shrimp. That sums it up nicely. Octopus had a nice crust without being charred. The only dish that wasn't perfectly seasoned was a dish of vegetables. They kindly brought us a jar of salt to correct. Nice wine. Excellent service. This restaurant alone is a reason for a trip to Lisbon.

Well executed dishes but too much expensive.

The freshness of the seafood can be easily tasted and enjoyed. The flavours of the food permeate the soul and leave unforgettable impressions. The staff is not only nice and polite, but anticipate every need and are extremely helpful. The deserts are perfectly balanced and exceptionally presented. The decorations remind us of tradition, but also of the current aesthetics.

Yelp
Super fish restaurant, with terrific service. The restaurant is unpretentious (no linen tablecloth, you're there for the food), with a relaxed vibe. Our waiter was very friendly, attentive, & made excellent suggestions including wine. The manager checked on us (twice), a nice touch. The fish options were plentiful, & exciting. We started with the octopus carpaccio, a specialty, which was divine. My wife wasn't thrilled, mostly because I ate it all before she got a bite. Thennon to the whole turbot, served table-side. Lots of great sides, including an insanely good Portuguese Rice. This place is a must-go in Lisbon! Forget the Michelin-starred, this is it.

Yelp
This place is overrated... Not!! Booked two months before coming to Lisbon and have been counting days and we were still overwhelmed. This is definitely the best seafood restaurant I have visited. So good without any fuss. The following were crazy good: - marinated scalops - tuna tartar - cataplana w/ cod fish - octopus "salad" The latter was amazing! The wine selection was also great :)

Yelp
An elevated seafood shack that comes around with the catch of the day but also has an extensive menu. Everything is delicious, including their wine pairings. However, after you've been served they may leave you alone and never come back. We sat there, almost falling asleep waiting for our check. 3 servers later it finally came. That's why it's 4 stars instead of 5

Yelp
The NYTimes got it right. This place should be anyone's splurge meal in Lisbon. Tips: 1. Take a cab unless you're staying near the west side of town 2. Order lots of little dishes including the octopus carpaccio 3. Say no to the cheese they bring out first. Don't get full on cheese! 4. Order the razor clams and the special of the day. We had the cuttlefish. So good. I want to live next door.

Yelp
We went here for dinner after reading NYT 36 hours in Lisbon. Reservations were pretty easy to get. The place was 3/4 full at 7:45 and stayed pretty full while we were there on a weeknight. The host guided us through the menu, helping us select 2 delicious small courses (ceviche Jackfish, and grilled scallops - the tasty sauce for both required dipping bread), and a grilled Sea bass entree that they filleted for us at the table. We had a very nice experience.

Yelp
Wow. I didn't know seafood could be this good. We tried the octopus carpaccio, which had a flavor unlike anything I've had before. It was not heavy or chewy like octopus can be; it was delicate and delicious. The scallops were also incredible - so light and flavorful. As someone else said, this place is great for a splurge meal while in Lisbon. It's been written up in the 36 hrs NY Times article so word is out. However the service and the high quality food will provide a memorable experience while in Lisbon.

Yelp
I was pretty unimpressed. The appetizers were okay but had I known they were all fried, I would've ordered something else. Beer was okay. Bread and tuna tartar at the beginning was nice but only after I started eating did I remember that this is Europe and they put things on the table and if you touch, you pay. Expensive for what we got. Recommended by the NYT's 36 Hours. Hard pass.

Yelp
Our best meal in Portugal thus far. The menu was a bit hard to understand, but the staff graciously explained portion sizes and fresh seafood options to us, and we had a very memorable evening.

Yelp
Unbelievable... fresh, delicious, and friendly are all words that come to mind. Found this reading "36 Hours in Lisbon" from the New York Times in 2015 - it was fantastic!

Yelp
The absolutely best meal we had in Lisbon. We had a tuna tartar starter and a beautifully prepared turbot. We enjoyed an excellent wine with dinner and a lovely port with the caramel pie dessert. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. Our only regret is that we live too far away to make this a regular destination.

Yelp
First meal in Lisbon and it started the trip right! The octopus carpaccio was amazing and the fish, super fresh. What put it over the top was the great design and friendly staff. Definitely a sophisticated but not stuffy place for a good meal.
