Peking Chinese Restaurant

I picked this restaurant to eat at, because while looking at reviews on Google- all reviews from Chinese people for this restaurant were VERY positive, whereas reviews from non-Chinese people seemed negative. I wanted to go to a place that was very authentic. And felt this would make it very legit if Chinese people have positive things to say. Unfortunately, there were no appetizers given at the beginning of the meal. In Turkey this is a very common thing give before the meal. Apparently at Peking, it is not the case. We ordered the cashew chicken and rice. We asked for no spice. This dish was great and tasty. We also ordered this noodle soup, with medium heat. But it was SO hot. Our mouths were on the verge of death. Very spicy. When we got our bill, we noticed the KDV is added on to the price. So be aware of this when you go. Our conclusion is that this place might be great, authentic, and delicious to Chinese people. But to foreign palette, it was way too hot. If I were to come again, I might not be so adventurous as to get a spicy meal I have never had before.

This food is OK, it's very average for Chinese food. You will probably enjoy it but I wouldn't consider it excellent. The rice was good, it was more like Japanese rice than Chinese. The beef was a little mushy which is typical of inexpensive Chinese food.

We ordered dinner for 4 people as takeaway - 2 egg fried rice, 2 noodles and two types of chicken. The quantity was enough maybe for two people. The quantity and quality of food is very poor- small portions, not tasty, too spicy, and on top of it they add tax. No value for money whatsoever.

After a few days in Cappadocia, we needed some spice in our system so we came here and got it. Ordered lamb in cumin, chicken in chilli (chongqing chicken) and noodles. Skip the noodles and get the tze char. Love it.

Too good. The owner was very kind, sustaining conversations amongst tables, and, in general, just bringing up the mood. The food was brought in generous proportions and was insanely delicious, even to me, a very picky eater. I would especially recommend the beef sautéed in hot pepper sauce. Overall: phenomenal food and staff, welcoming atmosphere. 老板娘是上海人，非常热情。菜色是家里的味道。👍

Decent! Loved the sweet and sour chicken. I moved to Ankara a few months ago, and they really always destroy this dish. Nice and garlicky spinach 😏 beef only could be a little sweeter! Corn soup not so corny. Overall lovely! Friendly service! Thank you, I will come back 🙏

We had lunch at this restaurant. The food was very spicy hot, although we have ordered it mild spicy. Also the food was not very good and it tasted average. I’m comparing this to other Chinese food restaurants I have tried in Türkiye.

Good choice if you wanna take a break from turkish food. Food is surprisingly delicious and tastes like authentic Chinese food. View of the cave house on the slops is also nice!
