"After a day of biking, hiking, kayaking or simply lying in the Caribbean sun, you will likely develop a thirst for something cold to drink. On Half Moon Cay, there's a selection of bars to choose from, whether you want a frozen cocktail, a cold beer or simply a soda. The Rumrunners Bar is painted in bright Bahamian colors and is located near the island's Welcome Center; the Bell Bar is among the dining pavilions of the Tropics Restaurant; and the appropriately named I Wish I Could Stay Here Forever bar is under a thatched roof overlooking the beach and, beyond it, the Exuma Channel."

We had a fantastic first stay here and are already looking forward to coming back. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and the whole property had a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Our room was clean and cool (a huge plus in the heat), and the pools were well maintained. The location is also excellent—close to so many great food and drink options, and right next to the marketplace, which made things super convenient. The private beach access via ferry was easy and fun. We’re really glad we didn’t let the lack of a walkable beach stop us—the setup works great, and the beach itself is beautiful. Bones and Sabor had especially wonderful service, and every meal we had on-site was enjoyable. Just note: the bar opens at noon, which is totally fine but helpful to know. Overall, we had an amazing time and truly appreciated how well taken care of we felt. Thank you to the whole team!

I had a great time. Every room has a really nice view in my opinion. Complimentary hot & cold breakfast starts at 6:30 am. Servic staff is really friendly. I wish the AC could be programmed to be cooler, but it was a relatively comfortable temperature.

Pelican Bay Hotel was brilliant with the basics. They offered clean, quiet (on the interior), comfortable and well managed/serviced accommodations. The room (322) was quite simple with little decor but fresh and comfortable. I especially appreciated that everything functioned properly EXCEPT the wi-fi which was not reliable. The morning breakfast service was fantastic but could have been a bit more varied on occasion. Also, construction noise on the north side of the hotel on Bell Channel disrupted peace and quiet all week and made it difficult to relax by the pools or on the balcony. This was really unfortunate and detracted from the overall quality of the stay but was entirely out of the hotel's control. I would recommend guests choose rooms on the east wing if they need more quiet. The restaurants and bars served great food and drinks. The front desk staff were exceptionally warm, kind, responsive, and efficient. The hotel is a bit on the expensive side given the simplicity of the rooms but I would still recommend it for a solid and positive experience.

We had the most wonderful experience here! We'd highly recommend for singles, couple or families. ||First, we had traveled almost 12 hours and were exhausted by arrival. Andrea was there to greet us, answer all of our questions patiently (we were so tired) and she was friendly and welcoming.|We visited the front desk a few times during our stay and we also saw Channing, who answered our questions and helped us book and excursion. She was so friendly and offered great assistance.| |The property was gorgeous and I watched the staff take care of all the plants, trees and flowers each day. I appreciated the investment they put into the property grounds. ||The room was a good size for us two, clean and had plenty of space. The bed was comfortable and I utilized the desk almost every day. I loved the view from the balcony and spent a few mornings there, enjoying my latte from Zorbas. ||We loved how Pelican Bay was within a few minutes walk from various restaurants, easy access to beaches and we felt safe walking in the evening. We ate at Sabors a few times, I recommend the chocolate martini and fritters. ||We also appreciated how the staff greeted us as we walked around the property, we felt acknowledged and respected. ||I've already told family members that we recommend Pelican Bay and we will definitely return there for another vacation.

Stay at this hotel for few days and few type of rooms including the suite. The view is great. The room is nice with a lot of amenities. The staff also friendly. However cleanliness could be improve. Breakfast also not so much option, doesnt worth the price.

Everything is decent except the font desk staff And if you like hot water it is not available . They are the Worst. Talk to anyone but the front desk staff! HA they don’t know anything about the resort or island super unhelpful. The resort would make so much more money of their first response to guests was not adequate. The room : no hot water. We asked for help to get it back in place. It was “” not available to get more hot water to us “” They were also not able to change us to another room. We asked for the manager, she was not available to speak with us. We fish, we travel, we go everywhere in the Bahamas but we expect what we pay for. Will say if you own a boat restaurant is great but don’t get sucked in like we did it’s annoying to start here and there are so many better places.

After few days at the Grand Lucayan, we moved into this hotel, this is very cosy hotel by the quay side. nice clean room, small restaurant with less variety of food to choose from but whatever they prepared was fresh and tasty. nice cosy place to send time.

We had a great time at Pelican Bay. The staff are excellent! It wasn't that busy but I enjoyed the quiet. We did have some problems with our toilet but they quickly responded and repaired the issue. There are plenty of food options for both breakfast and dinner. We used the ferry to Taino beach every day.
