Pelican Beach Resort - Dangriga

The rooms are clean, simple and calming. Kind, personable and helpful staff. I really enjoyed the private patio space as well as the lounge areas on the beach. The food at the restaurant wasn’t great (bland grilled fish and veggies) but that gave me reason to go out and explore a bit. The cocktails were good though.

My wife and I arrived on Friday the 10th of October around 4PM for just a nights stay and were greeted by a welcoming staff who checked us in quickly and then walked us to our room. The room already had the AC running and that was awesome! It was hot and humid. We freshened up and went to the outdoor bar/restaurant and enjoyed some cold beers and a really great meal. I told the nice young lady behind the bar , when you see me coming to the bar , I am ready for another beer. We shared a laugh and that system worked. We shall return.

Very nice place down by the airport at the end of town, rooms are nice, staff is very friendly and generous portions of food, could not finish my plate!

We had an incredible experience at Pelican Beach with our group of over 25 people! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. They were incredibly accommodating, ensuring every detail was taken care of to make our gathering seamless. The setup was perfect for families, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that kept both kids and adults happy. The staff was attentive, friendly, and professional, and the food was absolutely delicious.||Pelican Beach is also a great stopover when driving to Placencia. Its convenient location, combined with the excellent food and service, makes it a must-visit spot. Highly recommend!

Visited restaurant.|Average food for prices, sides were cold. Young inexperienced staff and not focused on customer. No management visible. Restrooms no towels and front desk personnel seemed bothered to address. Out of items, wrong items brought. Just a bad experience. Told them we would not be back and they did not seem to care.

What an amazing place to relax! Very quiet and breathtaking. The staff was very helpful and friendly! The food and service was excellent. Be sure and try the fruit bowl with ice cream! The adventures we booked were all amazing through the resort. Very clean and well maintained resort.

My sister and I spent a night here between a trip in the jungle and out to the islands. It's perfectly serviceable for that! Not a huge list of amenities, though I think you can book tours to go out to do that will pick you up at the resort. On the beach and a decent restaurant that definitely is on island time. ||Overall, would stay here again should I be going out to Glovers or any of the Cayes, but I wouldn't want to use this as my main vacation spot.
