⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pelican’s Cafe absolutely crushed it. Breakfast here is next-level. We had the mahi tacos (yes, for breakfast — no regrets), the blueberry pancakes that were basically clouds filled with blueberries, and way too many flavors of their homemade donuts… every single one was dangerous in the best way 🍩 The coffee was excellent — strong, smooth, and kept coming. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, right down to the fresh flowers on the table (which we admired and did not steal, for the record 🌸). But the real MVPs are the waitstaff. Hands down the best waiter staff I’ve seen anywhere — friendly, fast, funny, and somehow always there right when you need them. Awesome food, awesome people, awesome vibe. If you leave Pelican’s hungry or unhappy, that’s on you. We’ll definitely be back. Sour Cream Donuts 🍩💥

Really good place! We went there for breakfast and all food was delicious! I had an omelet with salmon, it was incredible. Beautiful atmosphere and settings. We received yummy donuts! Thank you very much!!! 🤗

Had brunch with my husband, had a reservation for 12 but we ended up getting there at 11:30. They were so gracious and sat us right away on the lovely patio. Our server was very friendly and brought out the house made donuts right away. The sour cream old fashioned donut was probably the best donut I’ve ever had. I ordered the filet mignon eggs Benedict and my husband had the cheeseburger which looked incredible. He thoroughly enjoyed it and I absolutely loved my dish. I’d didn’t seem like much food but I was so full, I couldn’t even finish it. Absolutely delicious. I’d absolutely return if I lived here, but we are just visiting. So so good.

I thought the food was really quality and the service was great. They were a tad slow on the entrees coming out but it was fully packed and the chef seemed to care greatly for quality so I didnt mind at all. Please note, there is LIVE MUSIC (a piano man was there at the time). So if that is NOT your jam, then book a table outside.

Recently had breakfast here and it was delicious! The complimentary donuts were delicious! I almost ordered more of them instead of breakfast. The omelet was so fluffy and very flavorful! Will definitely go back when we're in town again.

Ordered some iced coffees and various brekfast items. Staff brought some homeade donuts which were light and fluffy but not overly sweet. Was a nice treat! The Huevos rancheros was excellent with its signature salsa. Everything else was great as well. Breakfast food was on the pricier side but staff was attentive and food service was timely. Breakfast for was $100. Would recommend and would come back

this was amazing! we called at 6 for a party of 8 and they were able to accommodate us with a 730 reservation! food was amazing, we had two of the appetizer, dinner and dessert specials. our server was Ruby and she was so knowledgeable about the menu and made amazing suggestions. we will be back for our next big family outing!! stay amazing.

This cozy place is a hidden gem. I live close and never knew it existed. I only tried an espresso martini and a couple of appetizers (calamari and meatballs) but if the taste of those is any indication, I'm sure a full meal will be incredible. I will definitely return and stay for an actual meal next time. If you want a cute place with kind staff, a cozy atmosphere and delicious food and drinks, The Pelican Cafe is the place for you.

Amazing service and really great food. Started with the eggplant rollatini which is a MUST TRY. Also had the burrata which was prepared perfectly. Split the vodka pasta and Greek salad. It's cool that they have gluten free pasta too. I would probably not do the vodka pasta again-wasn't my fave. But the lamb was delicious as were all the other main dishes.

Pelican Cafe was quite delightful for dinner. The outdoor seating really proved to be a treat. The weather was perfect. It wasn't overly crowded and we weren't right up on the live music like they were in the dining room. We got to enjoy it with the doors open from a distance and not feel encroached upon. We didn't know that there was live music and it was actually fantastic. I enjoy jazz. The musicians were super talented and they played the often forgotten hit the year of the cat by Al Stewart. That made my night and tickled me. I love that song lol and it came out way before I was born. The food was pretty good. My only complaints were that the carpaccio was super small for what they're charging. And the sauce on the meatball dish was a bit sweet. But everything else was good. The wedge was really good. The swordfish was good, no complaints. It wasn't like special and fantastic, but it was good. The chicken piccata or franchise (I don't know which one it was), but it was enjoyed by the person who ordered it so was the fillet. The star of the night was that cinnamon gelato! Holy moly, not only did it elevate the tiramisu it was just perfect. It was perfect cinnamon gelato and I wish I could have it every day lol. On top of a very nice dining experience and atmosphere, the service was fantastic. The young man who was our waiter did a great job and he made sure that we had everything we needed throughout the entire meal. I had only been there for breakfast in the past, but it very well may be a regular choice for dinner in the future. Another review giving it to you, Straight No Chaser. Enjoy!

Love the ambience ! The waitstaff is very friendly and prompt! The food was excellent! We had the Lamb special, Chicken Franchise, and Salmon all delicious! And the Key Lime Pie sooo yummy

It has been here forever, but so many people forget about it. The food is always on point. They do a great breakfast and brunch. They also bring out fresh homemade donuts in the am! They have both indoor and outdoor seating. You have a nice view across the park to the intracoastal. Enjoy!

We had a very mixed experience - everything except the food was great. The service was exceptional. Everyone, from the hostess to our server, Abraham - assisted by Josaih - was terrific. They came back frequently to check on our meals, made nice suggestions and were all friendly. The restaurant is attractive. While the Saturday night noise level was high, we could still have a comfortable conversation. The tables were close together, but still left comfortable spacing. The chairs were a bit low for me but, at well over six feet tall, that is a frequent issue. That leaves the food. In a word ... meh. Both chicken dishes in our party were overcooked. The Chicken Milanese was almost cremated. It was promptly replaced but even that was overcooked and tasteless. Moreover, the salad from the first, burnt offering, was simply transferred to its replacement - so it was already wilted when served. The Chicken Parmigiana was overcooked almost as badly. I am a sucker for Sunday Sauce. The Pelican's was served with a tasty sausage, two very nice meatballs and a dollop of creamy ricotta. The pasta was well cooked. The fly in the ointment was the sauce. It was not a rich and flavorful red sauce that had been simmered all day, but a thin, relatively tasteless red sauce. Overall, high marks for service but a really disappointing meal.

Our family had a sensational dinner at the Pelican Café tonight. Riley, our server was wonderful. We had a group of adults and children, and the entire staff made us feel like family. They were very attentive and the service was perfect. The food was truly delicious and we had a variety of dishes. I would definitely go back.

We've been patrons for many years and have been pleased with our experiences. We noticed changes immediately with the valet parking which is a plus. Parking used to be challenging with a small area. Now arriving is a breeze. Upon entry, we were warmly greeted and escorted to our table. Our server, Riley, was attentive and friendly. The manager checked on us (and every table) several times. We both ordered off of the evening specials menu. I had fresh flounder and opted for francese preparation. It was as big as a plate! It was buttery, lightly lemony, and melted on the palate. The best I have ever tasted. Hubby ordered the salmon Mediterranean and loved it. Neither of us had room for dessert but look forward to our next visit! It was a pure pleasure!

We had an amazing dinner here. They have an outdoor patio area where qe were seated, which was lovely. Our server, Alex, was very attentive and professional. We had the special, which was shrimp scampi with spinach and mushroom, with pasta purses. Do delicious! Also, had the rigatoni bolognese which is always a hit. For dessert we have the pineapple upside down cake. It is served warn with whipped cream. Omg, loved it! The food was really good and the atmosphere is wonderful. They had an entertainer who was fabulous and really engaged the diners. Great restaurant!

Just popped in for a quick lunch after the beach. Food and service were good. Parking is a little bit of a challenge. But they do have valet.

Great food and great entertainment. The service was efficient and professional. There a good number of tables but it is a bit tight. I highly recommend reservations. They accept local dines coupons - but even without it - the prices are reasonable / par. If you're looking for a tasty dinner with lots of menu options and piano / singing entertainment - look no further. You won't be disappointed.

I can't believe I didn't take pictures! I left my phone on purpose so as to enjoy this breakfast during a girls weekend trip. Delish!!! If you've read some of my reviews, you may know that crispy bacon is priority for me. They cooked it to perfection. We all shared the French toast as a breakfast dessert (yes it's a thing lol). Wow! Warm syrup, butter, and walnuts drenched the soft but slightly crispy toast. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The one thing I wasn't impressed by were the breakfast potatoes. They weren't bad but were just kind of plain. Didn't seem to accompany the eggs well. That's just my opinion. Personally, I prefer hash browns or potatoes with a little zing. Coffee, iced tea, and mimosas were refilled quickly at our request. We never waited for anything. The place was quiet busy on a Sunday morning. I suggest you make reservations. We sat inside which was lovely. However, there is a nice outdoor area I will reserve next time. Yea, there will be a next time! Edit: How could I have forgotten the donuts! When you are seated you are promptly graced with a plate of delicious donuts to share. Beats bread any day!!!

Wow! What a great place! Visiting from Miami staying a couple of days in Riviera Beach And wanted breakfast! I Yelped and found Pelican cafe. From the moment you enter it has a welcoming feeling and the decor and ambiance is very family friendly and Northeasterly! The Breakfast was great. Loved the avocado toast and the eggs and toast all around were enjoyed. The coffee wasn't watered down the serve staff was super and overall a great eating experience. When in Riviera Beach area I recommend you go to the Pelican for breakfast lunch or dinner.

Let's see...I really thought I was going to LOVE this place but after all the great reviews from this place I was excited to try it, but I was underwhelmed. The service was great, the food was good but not great. Everything was fresh and came to the table hot but nothing exceptional in my opinion. Maybe I should have gotten something else but I wasn't overly impressed by anything I ate. I would come back to try other things but this brunch was just okay.

Great service! The Crab cake Benedict was A+. Complimentary donuts to start the meal. Clean bathrooms. Will definitely be back. The owner even came by to check up on us!

The food is as great! The service was the best I've had all week. Top notch expectations, the owner on the dining floor checking I. On everyone! Started with the Barada truffle eggplant appetizer, which was amazing! Move to salads the wedge, and the spinach beet salad also amazing. Moving your dinner has the salmon and chicken park. Also great. If it was not our last night, we would have taken it to go. And of course, who does not love Tartufo, but this was the best I've had. But again, I cannot say enough about the service. It was simply amazing and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great Italian Italian meal. Live music. And a great atmosphere.

Food was excellent no one had any complaints we were a very large party of 29 on a saturday afternoon we were celebrating a 75 th anniversary the staff was awesome and took great care of everyone !!! Thank you for making our party special !! My folks were thrilled !!

We had an excellent dinner here with friends/cousins on a busy Saturday night. It was their restaurant choice and we are so glad they introduced us to this wonderful place -- as we never would have found it on our own. They'd made reservations early. And they are highly recommended as the restaurant is very popular. Amazingly, they serve 3 meals a day. We got to meet the owner, as well, who is a constant friendly presence. The tables are fairly close together, so you'll get to know your neighbors. And it can get a bit noisy, but the food makes it worth it. The venue is an old house. The starter bread basket was so good, we all decided to skip an appetizer/salad, save room for dessert, and go right to the entree. They had quite a few appealing nightly specials in addition to the regular menu. Two in our group chose the special snapper that night -- one had it piccata style and one had it Francese style. Another entree choice on the menu was their encrusted sole. I chose their crispy duck a l'orange. You could adjust your side choices. My duck was excellent, perfectly cooked, and came with wild rice and seasonal vegetables. Portions were large; all was delicious. Everyone raved about their individual dishes. For dessert, the guys shared a pineapple upside down cake. No crumbs were left. The gals each enjoyed a very good frothy cappuccino. I'd love to come back and try more items on their menu -- it was not easy choosing just one entree -- and maybe even try their breakfast some time. The only question is how soon we can return. ;)

What a find! My wife and I love this charming eatery. We've been there for breakfast (brunch, really) and dinner. They never disappoint. Service is friendly and courteous and the food is always outstanding. We went there for my birthday last year and had a memorable herb-crusted Colorado rack of lamb. It was done to perfection and presented beautifully. Breakfasts are a treat. The place is under new management but they have retained their chef. The new owner is friendly and eager to please. We're going there tomorrow- second time in a month- for breakfast with friends who were with us the last time. They come from a long distance but say that the trip is worth the drive.

Forced valet doesn't work. If they want to offer valet, offer it and park the cars in the overflow lot. Don't use the convenient lot next to the restaurant for valet and force people to park their cars in the overflow lot. Can't the valets walk to get the cars? Why make people walk to get their cars if they decide to not use valet? It's backwards thinking.

We really enjoy dining at the Pelican Cafe! Our food is always fresh. The environment is cozy and our service is always good too! No complaints!

Did we come on a bad day?? After reading all the good reviews we thought we would give this place a try. My husband's sausage frittata was terrible. Seriously, like a thin layer of egg with some sausage that you'd see on a gas station pizza, then topped with a glob of cheddar cheese. (Wish I'd taken a picture) The english muffin for my eggs benedict was so tough I couldn't even cut it with a steak knife. It makes you wonder who is writing the "fabulous" reviews.

Number one, the ambience is gorgeous. Walking into the restaurant, we were greeted by friendly employees and tables adorned with hot pink roses. We came for breakfast, and we're delighted to receive two fresh handmade donuts at our table, which are complementary on the weekends. I had the scrambled eggs, toast, and bacon breakfast, and they correctly cooked the bacon crispy and well done as requested. My husband got the sausage, frittata, which looked amazing, and he finished the whole thing. Number two , the coffee was rich and bold -- one of the best tasting coffees around, and they gave me a to-go cup coffee, free of charge, as we departed. Pelican Café offers both indoor and outdoor seating, so we are looking forward to sitting outside next time and trying either lunch or dinner! We very much enjoyed the food, the ambience, and the service. We will be back.

Found this place on Yelp soo glad we came, we sat outside on the covered deck. Our server JOSIAH greeted us ask for him if you come the way he explains the specials make you want to order them all very detailed, there were many helper running around making sure empty plates were taken away and if we needed anything. After he told us the specials the next thing we asked was what's for dessert, after hearing them we could have stayed for that only big selection. We ordered the salad special, came with fresh bib lettuce sliced pears, radishes, sweet pecans and a raspberry vinaigrette topped with a creamy blue cheese chunk. We said we are splitting the salad and they split it for us, the salad was excellent the dressing made the whole thing I could have purchased a gallon on that stuff it would have made anything taste good. For dinner we had chicken parmigiana with there homemade noodles. This is a must get the noodles are outstanding the sauce was also very good the chicken and coated perfect and then cooked to golden brown and a perfect crisp topped with tomato sauce. This was the best chicken parm I've had. Wife and I also split this meal and they split it in the kitchen for us, I don't know how someone could really eat a whole order it was more than enough for my wife and I. All of the other meals we saw were pretty big also. Now to the dessert, they have a very good list they need to do a sample plate of like 4 items from the list because if the rest of the desserts are as good as the 2 we ordered wow they should be awesome. Wife had the pineapple upside down cake it does have nuts in it, it came out warm the cake was super moist and very tasty personally I think it would have been better cold or room temp. I had the flourless chocolate cake wife and I really enjoy this type of cake, back in MD where were we live we goto a restaurant that serves a cake like this. I wanted to see if it was the same, it is and I believe this one is better. So rich and creamy melts in your mouth! This is why they need a dessert board I also heard the table next to use mention they needed to order all the desserts and everyone get a spoon.

My partner and I were both disappointed last night when we dined at the Pelican, a place we had been to several times before and been satisfied. My chicken parm was just so so. The meat was fine and breaded just right (and huge!) but the sauce was bland and watery. My partner had the linguini with clams, something she orders everywhere. She said hers was bland and watery. Give the sauces some kick, guys!

The ambiance and the service were very good however the food was only average. The salad was buried in a not so special dressing. The pasta was overcooked and the bolognese was very pedestrian. I'm not sure how anybody could give more than 2 stars considering the cost of the meals.

Best breakfast in town!!!! Best breakfast I've had in Palm beach so far! The menu is beautiful and the food speaks for its self. My egg white frittata was so good and the multi grain bread that came with it tasted like fresh baked bread. The crab cake on the bene was so good and omg the blueberry doughnut

The good new is that food is still good. Unfortunately, that's all that was good about our dinner. The service was truly ghastly, despite the best efforts (presumably) of our server, who was nice, but way too chatty. is it that hard to find kitchen help? Servers? Gee. But the food was good. Will return for lunch....maybe.

I had a business lunch here previously, but hadn't been for dinner until last night. Firstly, I'd say that this time of year (season), this place looks to be pretty booked up generally over the dinnertime sweet spot hours between 6-8pm. We settled for a 5:30pm reservation and were greeted by a smiling receptionist and seated nearly immediately. Our server gave us 5-6 daily specials in addition to the fairly extensive menu. There are plenty of options across pasta, beef, seafood, veal, chicken and salad dishes. Keep in mind that this is certainly an upscale restaurant and entree prices are accordingly high ($30-45pp). They do have some less expensive pizza/flatbread options available too. The service was solid overall, as was our meal. We found everything we ordered to be tasty and freshly made, including the pasta. This would be a great place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, etc and we will be back.

My last time dining at this restaurant I believe was the year they first opened in 2008. Although you know you're in Florida, this restaurant has a comfortable New England-style ambience. The restaurant provides an upscale menu with fresh ingredients and creative specials. We were comfortably seated and immediately provided with water. Their menu selections are prepared fresh and made to order. Our party indulged in the Veal Chop and the Shrimp Special with Truffle mushroom dressing. I ordered the chicken Milanese that was pan-fried with Arugula, tomatoes, lemon vinaigrette, and shaved parmigiana. Dinner was awesome. I am glad a finally returned to this delightful restaurant.

Service can be very slow, as it is packed on a weekend. I've only been for breakfast, which isn't cheap. The donuts they bring out as you wait are a lovely touch, as are the white tablecloths. I highly recommend reservations and to arrive promptly as they typically seat you at the time of your reservation.

Great food and solid drinks. The entertainment is fantastic so try to dine while there is entertainment. Fun place!

A must go restaurant. Situated in a renovated home. Decorated with pelicans throughout. The service is top notch. We've been for brunch and dinner numerous times. Their Halloween parties are so much fun. And the food speaks for itself. Filet mignon Benedict's, homemade Sunday gravy, raviolis.... Everything is amazing. Great for parties!!

The food was excellent. Our table was not good. They put us at a very small table and the next table was too close. We could not have our own conversation as there were six beside us and their conversation was very loud for us to hear each other. The service was good. They just need to move tables away from each other..

The food is amazing! Friendly staff . Always ! It is nice to be able to order breakfast or lunch . This worked out great when my knitting group had a luncheon there yesterday. We had 23 ladies , and everyone was happy ,and very impressed with the set up , the food , and the service . Thank you to all that made us feel so welcomed!
