Pelican Pier / Pelican Nest Restaurant

We had a fantastic dinner at The Pelican's Nest in Aruba! The restaurant is set on a beautiful pier with stunning sunset views. Our server, Juan Carlos, was amazing—super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed all night. We started with a delicious crab cake, then enjoyed the blackened grouper and mahi-mahi with plantains. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. The best surprise? Juan Carlos brought out a birthday cheesecake for my husband—we didn’t even mention it, and it made the night so special. Great food, amazing views, and outstanding service. Highly recommend—ask for Juan Carlos if you can!

Great place to enjoy a perfect sunset dinner. Delicious food (inspired combinations of local and global tastes, mainly fish & seafood), lovely and attentive personnel, and reasonable prices. For my taste the music could be a bit quieter and possibly more “Caribbean” in style, and the chairs could be a little more comfortable. For the rest we had a great time - thanks! Book a table about 1h before sunset!

Food was amazing, view is incredible and Cesar Romero was a gracious waiter. Highly recommend for a relaxed atmosphere for lunch or dinner on the water.

The food was absolutely delicious. Tuna tataki was very fresh, bang bang shrimp was cooked perfectly. Though I’m not a fan of batter, the shrimp inside was amazing. We ordered a Mermaid Cove (seafood dish) to share with my daughter and it was absolutely wonderful. It is located on the pier and the sunset view is magnificent!!!! No waiter hovering, but we were not being ignored either. Perfect end to a busy day.

This is a casual place but the food is delicious, the ambiance is absolutely beautiful but the most impressive was Duber our waiter… so attentive . Paid attention to detail and anything extra we needed. I would come back for the food for sure… but mostly to be served by Duber… we have been coming here for years and it’s never a miss!

We had a great time at Pelicans nest! Walter was our server and provided incredible customer service. The food was delicious and the view right on the water was amazing! 10/10 recommend.

Make a reservation! Dinner was great. Quick service. We arrived and people were waiting for tables. We walked up to the hostess, told them of our reservation, and we were immediately seated. Right on the water. Great views when the sun is out/setting.

My husband and I visited Pelican Nest for a date night it was a wonderful experience. It provides an over-the-water dining experience, combined with excellent food, drinks, and service. We were able to watch the sunset while eating dinner and it was perfect. We shared the crab cakes as an appetizer, and I had the mother earth bowl. All the food was phenomenal! The plating of the food by the chef makes this restaurant feel even more elevated than expected. Highly recommend if you are looking for a fantastic restaurant in Aruba with an over-the-water beach atmosphere, with even better food drinks. We will be back!
