We had a wonderful stay at Pelican Reef. The Beachfront condos were spacious, clean, and very comfortable.||The service is impeccable here. Mildred greeted us and walked us through everything and was always available for questions, help with reservations, etc.||All of the servers at the Pool Bar were great, but our favorite was Jalen. He was so nice and accomodating. The day we subathed out on the dock, he walked all the way out to ask if we wanted any drinks. That is first class service! ||It was also great that most water excursions, you get picked up right on site at the dock. ||We will definitely be back!

We had a 2 story beachfront villa during the week of Christmas 2024. It was very comfortable for our family of 6 adults and 1 teenager. We loved the staff. They were all very sweet and helpful. They arranged our pick up from the water taxi and ordered our golf cart that we used for the week. Mildred helped us schedule a snorkeling tour and a diving trip which were both really fun and she recommended some great restaurants in San Pedro. The food was great at Pelican Reef too and their bar area was fun. We loved swimming and snorkeling off the end of their pier. Thank you Pelican Reef for helping us create a magical Christmas in Belize!

I booked a stay here very last minute based on the excellent reviews. They were all right! My family of 4 loved Pelican Reef Villas. What made it special was the kindness and genuine warmth of everyone who worked here. Mildred handled dinner recommendations and booked activities for us, and Enrique greeted us every day with a smile and kept the tacos and drinks flowing. We had a 3 bedroom and 3 bath villa with a kitchen. We loved all the space- the decor is simple, nothing fancy but totally adequate. I appreciated the complimentary breakfast and non motorized sports, along with the purified water provided in the room. We ate dinner at Black Orchid and Happy's which are walking distance and used our golf cart to go further afield. Mildred suggested a private boat trip with Oliver- book him early as he's in demand! That was a highlight of our trip and he can customize activities. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Gem of a smaller boutique hotel on the beach. Beautiful property that feels like you have the entire place to yourself. Quiet, more secluded beach and pier. The entire hotel staff is amazing and goes out of their way to exceed guest expectations. A huge shout out to Mildred. Mildred reached out prior to arrival to ensure I had Thanksgiving dinner reservations. She secured a private charter and made all reservations. The staff makes you feel like family and addresses everyone by their name. I highly recommend staying here.

We spent a week on January and loved it so much. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond (thank you Mildred!). They organized everything when we asked but also let us do our own thing when we wanted.
It was so peaceful starting the day eating their breakfast by the pool overlooking the Caribbean.
The only downside was the road to San Pedro and most restaurants is terrible. Really bad and jarring in the golf cart. Hopefully they fix it soon.
We snorkeled off the dock and it was fun, but nothing compared to the 5 minute boat ride to Ho Chan reef that was amazing.
Thanks again to the staff, they made it easy and very enjoyable.

We have been thoroughly impressed with the locations, staff and amenities. The rooms are nice, clean and well maintained. The resort is right on the water with a sandy beach. The beach does have a 2 foot sea wall but if you're feeling like taking a dip, you can walk down the dock and go down some very well maintained stairs to a beautiful wading area.
I've enjoyed talking with Danny and Norman. I've asked them all kinds of questions about sea life and things to do on the island. He's been so nice and informative. Keep it up Pelican Reef Villas, you're one of the best we've visited.

Overall great experience. Reservation process was easy. The communication from Ian ahead of time was very good. Upon arrival, Tristan and Mildred were very accommodating and extremely helpful with Tours, shopping, restaurant recommendations, etc. Food was fantastic - really enjoyed Enrique, Alex and the morning crew for breakfast. Condo was great. Beautiful view right on the beachfront. Fully furnished and equipped with everything needed. Bed was very comfortable and had great pillows. Would highly recommend.

My family had a wonderful stay at Pelican Reef. We had a 3 BR condo that had plenty of space for everyone, a well stocked kitchen (that we hardly used), good A/C. More valuable to us was the staff and grounds.|What a nice group of people looking out for you. I found all Belizians kind and accommodating, but the folks at Pelican Reef were fantastic. Mildred and Tristain were looking out for us all the time. Their off-site colleague, Ian, had helped me book a bunch of activities and restaurants in advance of our arrival, which made the whole trip easy. And the servers at the hotel bar and restaurant--Kai, Jaden, Ezekiel, and Enrique--were always there to help.|We didn't luck out with weather like you see in the picture, but we did get to enjoy the (very clean) beach and dock. You can snorkel right off the dock, where I saw sting rays and plenty of tropical fish. But the real treat is snorkeling at Hol Chan and at other spots along the reef, which are teeming with marine life: sea turtles, rays, sharks (not dangerous ones!), tropical fish and beautiful coral. We also got scuba certified--did the confined dives before Belize and the open water dives (arranged by Ian) with a big dive shop on the Island. For all the snorkel and scuba dives they picked us up at the hotel dock, which was very convenient!|Recommend reserving a gold cart to be able to get to restaurants and into town. The resort is a mile or two from town, making it less hectic than other hotels but also requires wheel (which means a golf cart in Belize).|Overall we all had a great stay and recommend highly.
