Pelican Rock

You must see it for yourself. I do. It recommended for snorkeling it was to busy but beautiful to do a boat ride near by and enjoy the rock formations

I actually worked with one of the hustlers who stand at the marina, waiting for tourists arriving from the huge Carnival ship. I picked one offering snorkeling and paid $40. Another guy led me to a boat--BE SURE YOU INSIST ON RIDING on ADRIAN'S BOAT, the something Lee. Iman Lee I think--first we dropped off a family of 3 at a popular beach and then Adrian took me to the beach at Pelican rock. He entered his phone number into my phone so that I could call when I was ready to leave. I texted him when I wanted to leave and he was there in less than 5 minutes to pick me up. He made that run with just me as a passenger. All the other drivers make you wait until their boat is filled--up to 30 min. That's why you have to insist on Adrian. He also makes sure you don't get ripped off. Pelican Rock is a great place for beginners. For $20, enjoy a tour with a young, experienced diver: just hold on to a floating ring and the guide will pull you along to all the best spots. He pointed out camouflaged octopus and starfish and he showed me where the parrotfish were gnawing on coral--amazing. I saw a min of 25 fish species, from puffer- and porcupine fish to tang, surgeonfish and even needlefish! Highly recommend. I went alone and was well cared for. I felt a little spoiled even.

Not worth to go there. Snorkeling is overprized. Yes, you see fish, which you do at any public beach, when u start feeding tortilla to the water, they come. Overprized snorkelgear, for weak swimmers overprized life jackets 30 dollar per person to be dropped at a 50 feet strech of sand with no service is a scam. If you go, make sure to go before 1 pm. Or you ll end up with no sun, bcs of the rocky cliff in your back. No way to lovers beach, your stuck at a mini bay. Be aware of it. Tourist scam

Gorgeous beach and awesome snorkeling! Cheap 5 min ride on a water taxi to get there and they come back to pick you up when your ready. Soft sand, crystal blue water and AMAZING views! 10/10!

Pelican Rock and the surrounding water is simply fantastic, especially if you want to snorkel or dive. The rocks provide a bit of an enclosure for you to be able to swim easily. The species of fish you will find are plentiful and you will not miss out seeing hundreds of fish literally. Easy water taxi ride over and well worth it. By far one of the best areas to swim in the ocean, especially if you aren’t looking for the typical Beach with vendors. Do NOT miss Pelican Rock when visiting Cabo San Lucas!

A memorable first boat experience for our three-year-old to Pelican Rock! A perfect length short excursion for young kids to leave from the shore to see the arches.

You can bargain for the water taxi. We got it to be 8$ per person with boat taking us to the rock and waiting for us to jump off the top couple of times. Then taking us to the beach and picking us up later in the day. Originally they wanted 30$. Water is deep and the jump is super fun! Sometimes waves are high and they won’t let you go to the beach so maybe call in advance!

Cool place to see and snorkel. The fish are all around this area, making it one of the best places for either amateur divers or snorkelers to have an awesome experience. Not to mention that it is real close to the Arch at Lands End.
