What a fabulous gem in Lewes. We went on a cloudy day so it was quiet but the staff were amazing and helpful, the facilities clean and tidy and the pool was lovely. Not heated as mentioned before but fine at this time of year if you're not a cold water aficionado.

Worked here with the LYT crew setting up a stage in the field adjacent to the pool. Had a chance to dip in the pool and it was just what I needed on a hot summers day! The pool is slightly heated so it didn’t feels too cold. Tea was only 1.50 which is a steal, if you’re looking for a place to cool down then stop by the Pool and you will not be disappointed :)

Lovely to swim in an outdoor pool. Unheated but all the better for it. We love a peaceful swim in the sunshine here

Nice Lido with everything you'd expect. Looking a little worn around the edges. Could do with a new changing room facilities. But the pool surround and the grass area was pleasant enough.

A big well situated pool. A nice grassy area to sit in. Not too busy. Floats available. Nice staff. A toddler pool. Everything you need, including hot drinks available to warm you up.

We came to the festival of music last night. It was a fantastic event at a very reasonable price. It started at 5pm and we arrived ontime expecting a big queue, but we waited no time at all despite the event being almost sold out I believe. The pool temperature was perfect, the toilets and changing rooms very clean. Not a huge queue for drinks, the southdown cider was delicious and equally the barbecue, we chose the vegetable Dahl and it was really tasty. The music was great. An absolutely faultless, chilled evening. Can't wait to come back!

This place cancelled my booking but still took my money straight away. They will NOT answer the phone and have ignored all of my emails! Not only that, they shared my email address with everyone on their system which breaks data protection laws.

Had a great time, the pool was on the chilly side but you soon got used to it, on a really hot day a cold pool would be just what you need I'm sure Food prices were good and lower than expected

As a large outdoor pool, The Pells Pool is a popular place to spend hot days in the summer understandably! It's a place that the locals love and visitors wish they'd brought their swimsuits for. It's big enough that in the main pool those who prefer lane swimming can always have their space whilst the older kids and teens can muck about in the rest of the pool without either sides crossing. There is a smaller paddling pool for toddlers which is a decent size for a large group of toddlers to fit into without too much trouble. There is a large amount of green space to play, sunbathe, have picnics on and generally do anything on, though this becomes packed on busy days. The changing rooms are decent, quite small but fine, could do with renovation. The toilets are fine too. You can buy snacky items from the shop and ice creams at reasonable prices. They have a toddler group on through the summer on a Tuesday morning which is brilliant, the kids love t and it gives the adults a chance to relax! Though the shady spaces under the trees are competed for early on in the session! Obviously this is an outdoor pool and therefore is only open from May through to September. It's good for the whole afternoon and early evening, through the summer I would go after work and swim for an hour from 6, as they do half-price entry at that time and it was practically empty, especially on days with a little drizzle!
