Few things to start with... open till 3:00 a.m., live music, parking next to the entrance. This place is fantastic! Music is a bit loud if you want to talk. We ordered local specialties, and the food was exceptional. We had some fun with the menu. They used machine translation, and the goat became the kid. Lots of people with kids, even late into the night. Excellent wine menu.

If you are in Salta this is a must visit! I recommend booking for the 9pm table reservation as it is quiet until then. We were greeted with a warm welcome, shown to our tables and served by a delightful waiter. We recieved our food and drink very quickly given how many people were arriving and ordering. The performances started around 9.45pm and continued late, the dancers and band were wonderful and the atmosphere was lovely. Best meal we have had out in Argentina so far!

I recently visited this restaurant and found it to be a great place for tourists. The prices are reasonable, and the quality of the food matches the price point. What sets this place apart is the live music and dance show that accompanies your meal, creating a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere. To ensure a table, it's important to make a reservation in advance through their website. The live music adds an extra layer of entertainment to your dining experience, creating a memorable evening. The performers were talented, and the music was fantastic, adding to the overall ambiance. However, I did encounter one issue during my visit. One of the singers exhibited rudeness towards customers. Specifically, he used a laser beam to point at people who were using their phones, creating an uncomfortable and shaming experience in front of the crowd. This behavior was unnecessary and detracted from the overall positive experience. Despite this unfortunate incident, everything else about the restaurant was enjoyable. The food was tasty, the prices were reasonable, and the live entertainment was a unique addition. I would recommend this place to tourists who are looking for a lively and entertaining dining experience, but it's important to be aware of the possibility of encountering some rudeness from one of the performers.

Beautiful atmosphere with entertaining music! The food was not the best but not bad, with the empanadas being the highlight! But thanks to the music and the dancers the night felt magical!

The place is amazing! The food is delicious and the musicians are great! It’s very hard to get in if you don’t have a reservation and you might have to pay a fee for the show, so it’s more expensive than the other places around. It’s more of a professional show with a lovely atmosphere than cozy Peña-feeling, but definitely worth a visit. I would recommend it for everyone who wants good food and music and is not on a traveling on a budget.

I was initially excited to go here reading the other reviews but unfortunately can't recommend it based on my experience. Both of the dishes we ordered were dry, way too salty, and overpriced for the quality. The lemonade was sickeningly sweet and undrinkable. We left half our food behind. There was also an extra charge for using a credit card. The musicians on the stage were nice but everyone else seemed like they didn't want to be there. Felt like a waste of time and money.

📝 Unbelievable night and a must for anyone in Salta that wants to experience Argentine folklore. The dances, music and entertainment by the people on the stage were just so captivating: everyone had a great time in such a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. Well done! 📍 The peña is located on Balcarce, a few blocks away from the main square: a good 15 minutes walk. Inside it's pretty big and nicely decorated with many pictures on the walls. It felt cozy. 🍴 I only ordered a salad and a dessert. Food was good, nothing exceptional (but I can't judge on more sophisticated dishes). For the salad I had to pick 5 ingredients and they got 1 wrong at the end... but no end of the world for that. ☝🏼 Be sure to be there latest at 21:00, especially if you're a larger group. Even better: reserve a table in advance, otherwise you'll have a big risk to not find a place. The peña is VERY popular.
