My mom, sister, and I had a wonderful and amazing experience. The customer service is awesome. The hostess, Laura, was absolutely perfect, and the recommendations she made were great. The food was amazing. The smoked salmon spread with pickled onions was really good and very elegant and savory. The shrimp cakes and sauce were delicious and had an amazing texture and flavor. The Apple backon pizza was so full of flavor, and the Margarita pizza was so comforting and yummy. The ambiance and lighting were beautiful. It's absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a memorable experience. I am definitely going to come back every chance I can. I HIGHLY recommend the Pend d'Oreille Winery Tasting Room. And they have the cleanest bathrooms. This place is a must experience, experience!

Google
We love this place. Great wine, great food and great service. We love sitting outside on the patio but the inside is also really nice. Try the smoked salmon board. They smoke the salmon locally and it is…..chef’s kiss! We come back here every time we’re in town and often times we’ll grab a bottle for the road. Best wine in Sandpoint!

Google
Awesome atmosphere! There was live music tonight and we had a great time. Got some Moose Drool beer, a pizza and some soup. Great food, good company, and a great place to be.

Google
The five wine tasting is an easy five stars. These wines are so good, I feel tempted to buy a bottle. But until I can afford it, those five shots provide a taste of the good life. Afterwards, we strolled down the corridor to the Ross Hall collection and exposed ourselves to art. Quality still counts in this world.

My wife and I are new to wine, and we couldn’t have asked for a better introduction than our visit to Pend d’Oreille Winery. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and helpful service. Nicole, our server, was absolutely fantastic. She went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable experience, and helped guide us through the wine tasting. The wines were fantastic, and the food was equally impressive. We had the smoked salmon spread, and the Bella pesto pizza. Both were absolutely fantastic and added to the overall great experience. We also took home a bottle of the L’Oeuvre, and can’t wait to enjoy again. The setting of the winery was amazing, cozy, and comfortable, with a lovely ambiance. Although we had to leave shortly before the live music started, we’re definitely looking forward to coming back to experience it next time. We’re already planning our next visit and highly recommend Pend d’Oreille Winery to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable time!

Awesome place for a sip of wine or to listen to music. Friendly service. Neighborhood feel. Fun vibe.

Google
Great service, great wine, and great atmosphere! They played good music and then had a pianist start playing.

Google
5 stars for the atmosphere, the tasting room is very cozy and welcoming. The staff was also very kind. The wine was good, but I would not say it was my favorite. I really liked the whites I tried, but I think their reds were on the sweet side. I would probably not return, but I am glad I gave them a try.

Yelp
We were visiting Sandpoint and we got lucky staying at a hotel right up the street. We decided to walk around to look for a dinner spot and stumbled upon Pend d'Oreille winery. We went in and right away the ambiance inside was so nice! It was dim and cozy and the service was great. We ordered an $18 bottle of wine (Bistro Rouge - delicious and a great deal) and two flatbread pizzas. One with pepperoni and the other with bacon, apples, Gorgonzola, and honey. The bacon apple pizza was so good! The perfect combination of sweet and savory. The prices were very reasonable especially for the quality of food and good vibes. We ended up returning to the winery 3 times because we had such great experiences. Our bartender/servers were all wonderful. We were also able to see some live music on the weekend. Definitely worth a visit!!

Yelp
Food was phenomenal! Fresh organic and local ingredients. Wines are good. Service on a Saturday was ok. Super busy w the band so we didn't get our waters refilled but it's ok I get it. It's hard to keep up on weekends when bands r present. Hopefully they will hire more staff for the weekends moving forward. It would be helpful for attention to customers & cust service.

Yelp
Wine was great. Bites were amazing. Staff so friendly and engaging. Absolutely will be back. Highly recommend.

Yelp
We had such a lovely experience here! Since Utah is lacking in wineries, and doesn't have wine tastings, whenever we're out of the state we always make it a point to visit a local winery. You can do tastings here at the bar only, and they have a specific tasting menu that you follow. The staff was so friendly and helpful and gave so much great information. The food was also delicious! We got their brie dip with apricot and a couple pizzas. Everything was wonderful. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area!

Yelp
It was nice to stop and try a wine flight while we were exploring the downtown area. I am not a big wine drinker, but have friends who love wine, and it was a good spot to pick up bottles for holiday gifts. The staff were all really nice and accommodating. My daughters are not of age yet, but were welcomed and I appreciated that. Their wine is very good, and I took home a few bottles.
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent service. Our wine flights were beautiful and well-reviewed by the staff. We really enjoyed the appetizers, as well. Thank You!

Yelp
Music on 12/10 was wonderful. As always Petra took care of our table very well. She is a great person who is on top of it and keeps things moving. Food of course was good as well as the beverages.

Yelp
This is a great place for both sampling wines and having a bite to eat. I am a wine club member and enjoy coming in to pick up bottles and occasionally having a bite to eat with a glass of wine. Sometimes we will sit at the bar to do the tastings and socialize with the staff when they are not too busy. Other times we will sit in one of the big overstuffed comfortable chairs by the front windows. They serve a nice simple but tasty variety of foods that all pair well with their wines. A few of my favorites are the Spanakopita, the Drunken Mushroom Pizza, and The Feta Cranberry Salad. All the ingredients are fresh and flavorful on the pizza and salad. This is a great place to sit, relax, and sip on some delicious wines. And if you aren't into wines, the carry San Pellegrino Waters, Jones Sodas, Coffee, Tea, and a few beers

Yelp
Such a great place to go! Great talented Pianist, delicious pizza, good wine & pleasant atmosphere. I highly suggest trying the The Lucas Pizza .. sooo good!
google avatar

Yelp
Great wine and food. Will definitely stop here again. We had stuffed mushrooms. Yummy and wine also!
google avatar

Vern S.

Yelp
Delightful evening here. Very inviting ambiance. Excellent solo folk/light rock guitar/singer(Jake Robin). We were seated at the far side of the room and no problem hearing him. Wine, beer, and pizza were excellent. Our server Amber was very personable and outstanding in her suggestions and service. Will definitely return on our next visit to Sandpoint.

Yelp
Nice, classy, comfortable tasting room. We were greeted quIckly and had a lovely wine tasting. They had many seating areas and local art for sale displayed. The food from the adjoining restaurant smelled amazing. There was also a coffee bar-so something for everyone in down town Sandpoint. We will be back.

Yelp
A great local winery with really good wine. Live entertainment, and good nibbles are more. They're expanding the menu and I can't wait to see what's on it.
google avatar

Yelp
A lovely place to socialize, listen to live music and have a beautiful glass of wine.

Sharon S.

Yelp
My husband and I went to this winery today and a few months ago . Both times the service , atmosphere and the food was excellent.... The pizzas are so delicious, I had the drunken mushroom. My husband had the Italian picnic . The wine and beer were very good too. I would recommend this restaurant.

Taylor S.

Yelp
Wine is great and so are the plates but our waitress, Linda or Lisa, was very unhelpful, didn't come back to our table after 30 minutes even for a refill. We had to get up and give her our card to let her know we were ready. She was busy talking with co workers rather than serving her literal ONE TABLE.
google avatar

Autumn M.

Yelp
I love the atmosphere, and music and sometimes a glass of wine. The flatbread pizzas are very good! Paired with a salad it's the perfect meal for two. Try the wine flights. So fun!
google avatar

Yelp
Great winery with a nice tapas menu!!!! Flatbread were awesome, and the service was uber friendly!!!!

Yelp
We have been here twice, and both times we really enjoyed our visits. They have a robust wine list, including a few wines that are "on tap" for you to enjoy by the glass or carafe. Every wine we've tried (although we didn't try any sweet ones) has been high quality, and very reasonably priced. They also do a monthly special that rotates for different wines. The building itself is large and in a well-maintained historic building. It is a comfortable setting. We've encountered live music once before, and that was a nice treat. The small bites menu is limited, but still has enough choices to find something even if you have a dietary limitation (vegan, veg, gluten free, etc). I will definitely return.

Yelp
Decent flatbread and music. Had the 20 wine flight which is a decent deal. Only liked the cab franc but at least that's something!

Yelp
My wife and I's go to for a date night! Always awesome service and ambiance, delicious food and drinks.

Yelp
This is a must visit when in Sandpoint! First, the food. The pizzas are amazing. This is for certain the best gluten free crust I have tried anywhere, in part because the flavor and texture was so similar to the regular crust which is thin crust. My husband tried both and agreed they were very similar. Second, the wine. The wine is made with Washington grapes. They have come a long way in the years since my first visit a long time ago. The price point is excellent for such quality wine. And best of all, they aren't pretentious about any of it. Just a great place to eat good food, drink and buy good wine, and have a nice time. We joined the wine club so will be back again and again.

Carla G.

Yelp
Wonderful place for a casual lunch- very reasonable prices, good selection of wines (beers too if you're the silly sort to order beer at a winery) and delicious food. Waitress was great at her job and just tremendously pleasant.
google avatar

Marcy C.

Yelp
Great service! Great wine! Sad they close so early on a weekend (8pm closing) they've got live music on weekends, def worth a trip.
google avatar

Janessa B.

Yelp
Delicious wine at an affordable rate! Cool environment and really impressed with the server who was friendly and knowledgeable!
google avatar

Yelp
Serious applause for Pend d'Oreille Winery. I don't want to sound like I'm knocking Sandpoint, but I never expected to find a place as cool as Pend d'Oreille Winery when I visited. Not only does this place have fantastic wine and food, but they absolutely nail the atmosphere. My boyfriend and I went here with his parents and sister on the 4th of July and appropriately celebrated our nation's independence with some reds and whites (maybe could have ordered some bleu cheese just to hit the theme home). We got food to share - all was great - and the wines were all wonderful. I hope to visit time and time again!

Yelp
Beautiful place, unique gift ideas and amazing wine! A local winemaker sources the grapes from the Columbia Valley in Washington, this wine is great. Stop in for a tasting and buy a bottle, they waive the tasting charge, can't beat that! We had the cheese plate with the wine tasting and it was as a great way to taste the wine with food. The service was great and they are very accommodating, offering a level of customer service not seen very often these days.

Yelp
This place was awesome! We had just come from a bad experience at another restaurant down the street, Baxters, where we literally walked out the service was so horrible. Pend d'Oreille Winery from the start had incredible, attentive, fast and knowledgeable service. Our waitress was amazing... don't recall her name but she was a very sweet and sharp college student; who new her stuff and treated us like gold. The patio seating was great, they accommodated our Boston Terrier and had incredible food and wine. Thanks everyone! Keep it up.

Yelp
So much fun. Wines were fantastic and Waite staff was very good. We got there around 4:00 and a terrific band came in at 5:00 and brought back so many memories. Nice stop from Lake Louise to Spokane. I would recommend it to anyone needing a nice break during their travels through Sandpoint.
google avatar

Hilary R.

Yelp
Did the wine tasting and friend did the flight. The wines are easy drinkers. Really enjoyed all of them. The tender is very knowledgeable and walks you through it all. If your hubby is not into wine tasting, send him for a walk to the lake, or tell him he can order a beer and pizza and sit with you! Great stop and we will be back.

Yelp
Had an absolutely amazing time at Pend D' Oreille Winery! ABBY our waitress was a pure delight and totally professional. I Enjoyed a delicious bottle of the Pend D' Oreille Winery 2018 Merlot and took the "Italian Picnic Pizza" to Go. From the hours from 4 to 6 on Wednesdays and amazing man by the name of Dwayne K Parsons plays all original piano music for the Guests. He's an extremely talented pianist and a wonderful storyteller! This place gets 5 Stars hands down! Henry was the pizza chef and he is absolutely fantastic!!!
google avatar

Yelp
We had a great experience at this establishment. The wine selection was diverse and service was excellent. The Shiraz was absolutely delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
FANTASTIC food it was all handmade. The pizza and salad were both great and I also had a glass of their wine! Everything was perfect including the service! The price is reasonable for what we got especially compared to other restaurants in the area! I will definitely be returning!

Yelp
Wonderful experience at the winery here in Sand Point. Solid selection of Washington sourced wines and generous tasting menu in a renovated brick building. My wife loved the different reds on offer, especially the Reserve Cab and Reserve Syrah. I really liked the Cabernet Franc and Louvre Red. Coming from Texas 'wine country' we were both very pleased with the quality on display from a climate well suited to growing grapes. Even though we are on vacation we still picked up bottles and I wish they would ship us some of the rustic-industrial bar furniture. Barrel stave backed bar stools would go great in my kitchen... but I digress. Only $5 for 5 tastings, including reserves and port. What's not to love? The port is a Syrah Port, and definitely fruitier than I was used to, but I do love the style. Don in the tasting room made sure we were well plied with wine and tales of local attractions. He was super helpful in helping us navigate the tasting menu and hit the wines we would like. Great guy, and although he is only there three days a week he made sure we felt welcome in the space. If we end up vacationing here regularly this winery will become a staple.

Yelp
Neat winery but not my jam. Pros? Hugggeeee place Can get all your tasters at once instead of in order Lots of choices Good monthly special pricing Cons? Not very personable waitstaff... friendly, but nothing that made me feel welcome No knowledge said about any of the wines
google avatar

Yelp
A great place for everyone - beer and wine drinkers! I enjoyed An excellent red and my husband had a great local ipa (mickduffs).
google avatar

Yelp
I'm not a wino, this review is for the music venue aspect. The room has a high angular ceiling, so not great acoustics-wise. But the real problem is the clientele - they are extremely self absorbed and chatty, to the point of being actively rude to the performers (and the rest of the audience). Don't know if it's the affluence aspect or the wine influence but elementary good manners is conspicuously absent. I was there a couple of weeks ago to see Mike Wagoner and his daughter Sadie, both great talents. I was less than 20' from them and couldn't hear hardly anything over the babble. Had to leave in disappointment. Please people, show some respect when it's a concert evening.

Yelp
great atmosphere in downtown sandpoint. wine was good, food was good. only minor bump in the road, the house made ketchup was to spicy. not palatable for a child, some adults could barely handle it. my suggestion: ease up on the spice, should only be a hint of spice not overbearing with it. also, would like to see wine flights added to menu. other than those to items our visit was great! we had family dinner out on the patio, our server was wonderful we enjoyed our time at POW

David T.

Yelp
Once every year or two, I win a bottle from my favorite radio station, KPND. I take the hour and a half on a nice summer weekend day to ride the motorcycle up to Sandpoint to have lunch, pick up the bottle, and buy the wine of the month if I like it. The place is great, the wine is good, and so is the food. Today I had a cheese and meet platter with a toasted baguette. A wonderful meal with great flavors and plenty of food. It also had a pickled stuff salad with the tiniest forks you've seen, even smaller than shrimp forks. It made me laugh, I asked the manager about it, and she said they didn't look that small on the internet but she thought they were amusing enough to still use them. Good wine, good food, nice folks.

Yelp
It's simply amazing to see such wonderful world-class wines being made in a lovely small town like Sandpoint! We've been following Pend d'Oreille's growth for almost 15 years now, and its just been great! The wines are wonderful, the staff is always warm, friendly and knowledgeable and now they're also serving great small plates and featuring live music. I can't wait for our next visit to back to Sandpoint to see how they grow!

Yelp
In here on a Friday evening & a guy on the guitar made sweet music while me & my girlfriend drank some wine & scoped things out... Great place with a fun atmosphere... Definitely a must stop for people who enjoy wine, music, music & wine together or want to hang out in a rad place!!

Rebecca S.

Yelp
Winery has the COOLEST design -- mushroom/Brie pizza was amazing and Angie was a blast to talk to!! We WILL be back! Oops, did I forget the Pinot gris, and blonde beer?! Perfection!
google avatar

Mindy S.

Yelp
We ended up here after drinking several lovely Pend d'Oreille wines at Spuds earlier in the week (our hostess recommende we come in for a full tasting). The store/winery itself is has a pleasant set up, with a long bar counter and a shop full of local wine and craftsy knick-knacks. We were one of two groups seated at the bar and the service was attentive and fantastic. We tasted a good number of wines (about 7 each) for the small tasting fee and ended up purchasing a case to be shipped back home to California. The pinot noir and several other reds were outstanding, along with a delightful Huckleberry Blush wine we'll be pouring for a dessert in the near future too! they also have live music several nights a week, which we were unable to check out , but which sounded like a good time. Our server was also able to provide us with a number of good recommendations for places to go and a fantastic restaurant to check out in Spokane too. The winery definitely deserves a stop (and a taste) if you are heading to Sandpoint.
google avatar

Jamie M.

Yelp
Fantastic wines at reasonable prices. Very friendly staff, comfortable tasting room with fun items and furniture available for purchase. Worth a visit every time you're in Sandpoint. Buy a couple magnums of Bistro Rouge - then return often to refill them!
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic wine and ambiance! Great live music on sundays. So comfy and fun, it feels like you're hanging out with friends in your own home.
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place. Jim the wine maker is incredible so many excellent kinds of wine and such high quality. Don't miss the bottle of wine that you can refill!
google avatar

Stephanie E.

Yelp
The place is relaxing, has live music, it's clean and inviting. The prices are fair for appetizers. We ordered 2 glasses of wine and a cheese board. We were charged $18.00 per glass. I would have appreciated the waitress asking us if we would have preferred the entire bottle for $42.00 instead of 2 glasses for $36.00. The music is fantastic. It was obvious that we were not regulars. I will go back and I will pay more attention and not hesitate to ask questions.
google avatar

Rob O.

Yelp
Wonderful flight of wines! Only tried the reds although they have a variety of whites. My favorite was the Cab Franc but the other reds were are very good. Tasting fee is 5.00 for 5 tastes, waived when you purchase. It is the only winery in Sandpoint, it doesn't dissapoint.

Yelp
We visited on a supposed Ski trip to Schweitzer but there was no snow. We were so happy to find the Pend d'Oreille Winery. The wine was delicious, especially the Syrah, Primitivo and Zinfandel. We LOVED the food so much. We had the soup, the brussels sprouts and a beet salad along with our tasting and decided to go back for dinner. Between the six of us we had almost everything on the menu and it was all amazing. I HIGHLY recommend the winery and the bistro but watch out, you'll probably leave with a case of wine.
