Peneeda View beach hotel

We loved our stay at this older Bali style hotel and would definitely come back again! It ticked all of the boxes for our family of 4, direct access to the beach and the main street. There are 3 pools spread out over the property, a gym and a beach side bar & restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch each day, with dinner being available on selected nights. We had breakfast here most days and really enjoyed it. We stayed in a 2-bedroom cottage, which is towards the street end of the hotel. The two rooms were perfect for us traveling with 2 teenagers. Both rooms had king sized beds in them, the staff were very accommodating to quickly place in a single bed to one room so that the teenagers had a bed each. Each room had a separate bathroom, fridge and water cooler. The cottages come with an outside kitchen area as well. The hotel is in a good location with plenty of shops and restaurants close by on both the beach and main street, easy walking distance. On rainy days it was a quick and very cheap taxi ride to Icon shopping mall. The rooms were cleaned daily and were always neat and tidy. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Peneeda View was a great hotel to spend a very relaxing week in Sanur.

We LOVED staying at this low key, quiet accom. With a garden setting but direct beach access, as beautiful open relaxing areas around the pool and beach front restaurant, it is a perfect affordable beachfront accommodation option. Also the rooms have a good fridge, constant supply of cold water and access to areas for outdoor cooking (with cooking pans etc) which is fantastic for longer stays!!! Aircon is EXCELLENT, pools lovely, rooms a great mix of traditional vibes and comfort. Also, right in the middle of all the good stuff of Sanur including good beach swimming.

This place is a gem- it’s old but comfortable and clean. Has a wonderful Bali atmosphere. Right in the beach! Great staff. A lot of old relives like 50’s cars and pianos dot the buildings. Has a gym. The bar overlooks the ocean. Good food and drinks.

A Grand old dame that is somewhat past her prime. Could do with a new frock and a larger beachside pool. We don’t mind older but we do care about cleanliness. Our room needed a good spring clean - window ledges, behind and next to the toilet, bed head, top of bathroom cupboard door and top of toilet holder to name a few things that had accumulated dust. The pool side bean bags and cushions also needed a good scrub. I think the working surfaces were wiped down daily and towels replaced daily. Things like toilet paper were rationed/ not replaced daily and our freezer in fridge had no door so didn’t freeze ice cream. The ground staff were smiley and friendly but reception not so much. Very few female staff for some reason?? It is in a fabulous position sandwiched between Andaz and Maya. (You will find yourself longingly looking at their beachfront pools.) We used Paneedas sun lounges out the front on the beach path and swam at the beach. A very pleasant way to wile away a few hours every day.

Lovely old style hotel great for the price right on the beach, clean rooms older style furniture and gardens not 5 star but I like the old Bali style rooms, cleaned everyday. Pools x3 clean and inviting. Staff are amazing great restaurants on Main Street and beach (little walk) hubby and I have enjoyed the atmosphere and hotel at this little gem. If you want 5 star and are use to 5 star this gem may not be for you. They run solar hot water, give you a large water tank to refill glass bottles everyday, prefer no plastic bags but do supply you with a great shopping bag they are trying to do right by the environment. We have had a lovely stay here

For the price simply the best little beachfront front hotel you’ll get. Neat gardens lead past several pools and a selection of accommodations. We had a neat hotel room with a separate King size bed, a pair of single beds in the living room and a clean and large shower, toilet and bath. It’s a lovely old hotel, with friendly staff and an easy walk or ride to everything else Sanur has to offer ❤️

Love this place, it's in an older Balinese style which is charming. Very clean, comfortable, and luxurious without the huge price tag. Staff super friendly & helpful. We had a family Bungalow for the three teenagers & Superior Bungalow for adults, both spacious and comfortable. The grounds are lovely. They're going for eco-friendly so trying to reduce plastic, using solar, etc. The restaurant menu is simple but tasty, and there's a la carte breakfast rather than buffet style. I would prefer a larger drinks menu, but honestly that's the only thing I'd change.

Stayed in a villa at this resort. Typical Indonesian villa with lovely old Balinese furniture and decor. Great seafront position. Cleaned every day with new sheets and towels. Amazing service with friendly staff.|Would we recommend? Yes|Would we stay again? Yes
