Peneeda View beach hotel

We loved our 4 night stay here. The location is in the middle of Sanur on the beach. We were fortunate to get upgraded to a 2 bedroom room (though we were only a couple) but this would be ideal for a family with its 2 king beds joined by sliding doors & a private alfresco area at the back with large fridge & water dispenser. TV with some english channels & large rooms with walk in shower. I love the hotels “no plastic” policy. Free water served in glasses in the restaurant as well as hot/cold water dispenser in each room to refill your bottle. They also loan reusable shopping bags. We stayed here 17 years ago & are glad to see these original hotels are still here and retaining the Balinese charm.

Excellent location, but being tucked next door to some incredible resorts it feels outdated and lacks atmosphere. Certainly a 'get what you pay for' in this area. Rooms are clean, although could do with a deep clean. Towels and linen replaced daily. Gardens also neat and tidy. There is a restaurant attached by the beach, but was almost always empty. Location is amazing. Family friendly. Would certainly stay again, just be mindful that you'll be seeking out food and entertainment outside of the hotel.

A top location, right on the beach. We were in the Honeymoon suite, spacious, comfortable, with a patio overlooking the pool.|In the space of 2 stays a week apart, the menu was changed and massively improved, and food quality too. The resort could do with a decor upgrade, especially the restaurant with its primo location of right on the beach. A bit of TLC and this resort would go from great to excellent. Very good value nonetheless.|We really enjoyed our brief stays and would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved our stay at Peneeda, so much so we are planning a trip back. Very authentic bali rooms, lovely pools, beautiful walkways throughout and lovely restaurant on the beach. Very spacious family rooms, very clean and well maintained. Staff are very friendly and accommodating and the manager/owner very friendly and genuinely wants visitors to have a great experience. Nice and quiet for families, not busy. Overall so pleasant and like a home away from home.

Loved it here. I missed my ferry to Gili and found a last minute room here. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The grounds are gorgeous and tropical, the rooms old style Balinese which is exactly what I was looking for. 3 pools of different depths to choose from as well as sun loungers on the beach. Nice beachfront cafe also. Overall, I really enjoyed it here and think it is excellent value for money. Would love to come back.

We had a great time at Peneeda. The location is great and rooms very large and clean. We booked a family room which was very convenient and affordable for a family. The hotel is right on the beach front. It’s only basic so don’t expect anything fancy but it does the job and is quieter compared to the larger resorts in the area. With a bit of money spent this hotel could be amazing. We would stay again.

If you’re looking for a family friendly beach front hotel in Sanur and don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars per night, this is your best choice! Its an old Balinese style hotel with a calm and friendly atmosphere. The family-rooms are basic, but have everything you need. They are located in a beautiful Balinese garden with three different pools. The restaurant is right by the beach and they offer decent food. The beach right in front of the hotel is good for swimming and has some big trees which make for good shade. Especially nice with kids. Breakfast is pretty basic and could be better, but there are many good restaurants in walking distance, so it’s ok. Staff is very friendly. Only thing they could do better is to add moskito-nets to their rooms. We really loved our stay there, it was the perfect place to arrive on Bali after a long flight from Europe. 100 % recommend this place!

Loved it. We had a renovated family room and it was lovely. 2 air cons, great outdoor space. We love this is a real bali style hotel with bungalows and no commercialisation. |Easy Warung & shops out the street, or on beach (hotel on beachfront)|Great staff and beautiful gardens. Would happily recommend
