Pengheng Space Capsules Hotel

We got a double capsule for USD 7 per person for 1 night. The bed was very clean. The toilets outside were awful tough - just not the western standard.||||We got a bag each with a towel, remote control for the tv, slippers and toothbrush. Valuable things can be stored in a locker outside the room, but since we got our own double capsule we didn't use the lockers. ||||The hotel is great for one night, we wouldn't stay there any longer. But all in all we had a good sleep and it was better than we expected. It's an experience!

This space capsule hotel could have been a private 5 star had it been fitted wit a western toilet. So am going for a 4star rating.|Pretty close to the Bao'an airport. By subway, just 2 stops. Get off at xinxiang st. And exit Bao an Boulevard.|Price is pretty cool. Capsule cleaned, spacious enough for a good sleep. Quiet, tv,u might need ya own headfons to connect tho. Has an awesome bar outside n and inner too. Nice BBQ n some great beers. Surroundings too , there is Flora plaza and a lot of shopping n food around tho. I will say, if u traveling alone, on a lonely man/ woman trip, then it's the plc to be. |

Worst hostel I have been to so far. Very dirty, toilets are squating type only, the toilet doors have a gap and you can actually see someone doing their business, the place is gloomy and not well maintain, dorm is smelly as you can bring your shoes inside, smell of cigarette everywhere, not enough lighting, and no one, I repeat, NO ONE speaks English. Communicate only through google translate. If you use their wifi, you cannot access google IG FB whatsapp etc due to gov restriction. The pictures on booking and other platforms are all lies. The mattress is just so thin that you can feel the bunk's hard platform. TV channels only in Chinese. The towel that they provide is a towel cut in half and it is dirty. I check in at 2pm and check out immediately at 4pm on the same day. Not worth it.

WARNING! To all non-chinese, the only thing keeping me from giving a full star rating is the squat toiltes. No western style "sit toilets"||I enjoyed my stay here. Very cheap (i didnt book online, actually cheaper to just show up) ||Very friendly staff, very helpfull and happy.||They have good amenities, laundry (you must pay) free computers, free locker (a little small), soap, shampoo, toothbrush/toothpaste.||The capsule was clean, nice, quite and long enough for very tall people. (Im 194cm or so)||There is a great outdoor sitting area that has a bbq and beer on tap! Also indoor area with music and a projector screen.||I.dont know about the location, havent been exploring yet.||

I was expecting to interact with the robots and being served by them, but apparently they do not work anymore. It’s a simple hostel with capsules which are not that clean. I also want to advise any Western people that only squat toilets are available. This made me feel very uncomfortable during my stay.|Please, notice that NO ONE speaks a single word of English hence expect the communication to be very tough. The internet was not working on my first day and the TV inside the capsule is in Chinese only.

A few small gripes. |1.This seems to be a chain, we'll run, but I'm not so sure all the photos are of this location. No movie room as shown. |2. A big tree out front blocks the sign, and with no number, it's easy not to find. |3. Not much English spoken here, but if you've been in China, you can figure it out. Wechat is indispensable. |4.¥100 for deposit seems high. |5. TV not real responsive, but maybe nothing I'd watch. |6.extra pillows would be nice. |7.one flight if stairs, poor desk clerk carried it up though... ||OK, now for the good stuff. |*Good a/c|*Bed is comfy|*Staff friendly, helpful and knows how to smile. |*Good water pressure in shower|*Coin laundry! Hallelujah!! Even clothes dryer and seems to be iron and ironing board in my area, not sure if it's guests or hotels. In some areas they have lots of guests diy cooking stuff. |*free hot water|*USB electric plugs for easy charging|*very clean almost as new, 3 or 4 ladies busy cleaning everything. ||||

I Don't know price now but when I visit there at 2016... That time price was 57 to 60 Yan... Low price & comfortable

Nearby Xixiang Subway Station. Feel like hometown.
