We had been dying to try this place and finally had the opportunity to do so on New Years Eve. We didn't place an order until about 5pm that night so they were sold out of everything except for cheese and pepperoni but it was cool we had the option to add jalapenos and honey to the pep, and so we did.
Just an FYI, if you order online, they give you a timeframe (72 minutes in our case) and a pick-up time. This is not an estimated pick-up time and there aren't any other updates saying it's ready. Honestly, pretty straight-forward, but we were around the corner and I guess I was expecting a text or email like we get from Rover.
The pizza is amazeballs. I love me some Alex's and some F-Word Franks at Coletti's, but with one choice between the 3, last pizza on earth, I would take Pengs for sure. The sour of the sourdough is unreal, the slice does the perfect non-flop, the cheese is a perfect amount and the price of $21 (before tax and tip) is a good value. The size is more than enough for 2 people, though you won't want to share. Also, I would assume because of the fermentation of the dough and not being globbed with cheese, my stomach appreciated the pizza more than others in the area.
Didn't get a sense of the vibe as they were clearly trying to get the hell out of there when we arrived, but it was nice they were open on NYE to begin with.
