We had a fantastic time here. Spotless lodges with everything you need and a good amount of space. Great for mixed Easter weather as we dried off from the rain in front of the fire but also sat out on the deckchairs in the sun. It is all family friendly so my boy made friends with the kids in the lodge next to ours which was worked out well for all of us. An easy walk to all the main beaches and towns to the West of St Mary’s Island. The kids loved meeting the pigs and collecting the still warm eggs from the chickens. We made use of the ‘honesty store’ where we got bacon from the freezer to go with the eggs, borrowed books, games, buckets and spades and did a wash and used the dryer.

A hidden gem on St Mary’s, a short walk up the hill from Hugh town, easily walkable from the ferry.||The lodges are modern & spacious with all amenities, great for kids to make friends and explore. With a well stocked games room, lots of farm meats freely available for the bbq at each lodge, as well as charcoal, everything you’d need!||Fantastic showers and water pressure too! For washing off the day at the beach.||Will definitely be visiting again!

The lodge was excellent and immaculately clean. It was really well equipped and we will definitely be back again! The lodge came with a BBQ (which we used on countless occasions!) and deckchairs for lounging in the sun. On the Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the children loved collecting eggs and meeting the pig with Farmer Dan and enjoying the eggs for breakfast afterwards. About a 10 minute walk from Hugh Town where we could catch the boats to the off-islands and a park with lovely views was just down the road. All in all, a very good place to stay!

I booked a lodge after much research as we wanted something close to the action, but suitable for a family with a dog. This exceeded our expectations! The lodges are new, clean and well equipped. The location is superb - you have the benefit of being only 10 minutes away from Hugh Town (there is an up hill short cut or a more gentle town route), but you are in gorgeous fields and can look at their pigs and chickens, and use the special field dedicate to guests with picnic benches and the most incredible views and sunsets! We loved doing a BBQ (with sausages and burgers from the farm!) and having our own picnic bench outside the lodge to use. They left a dog bed and bowls which was a lovely touch. Loved buying fresh eggs each day! The only improvement I could suggest is better storage for clothes, the main bedroom has a chest of draws and some posts to hang clothes on, but the second bedroom just has a few open boxes on the walls to keep things in - not ideal with more than 2 adults and I think it would be a squeeze if you had more than 1, maybe 2 children to store everything neatly. We will definitely be back!

These lodges are very well thought out in terms of internal design and contents and external placement. If you look at the layout from above it might seem that you are on top of each other but in reality you hardly notice the other guests and families. We have stayed many times and Zenna and Dan have always been helpful and pleasant. The location is ideal as it is a short walk to Hugh Town and we look forward to our annual visits.

Hesitant to write a review as these lodges and location are a hidden gem (we want to keep to ourselves) but feel we owe it to Zenna and Dan to tell everyone what they are missing. Really impressed with the luxury of the lodges and nice touch to have a pint of milk and tea/coffee/sugar supplied to get us started. We purchased frozen sausages and burgers on site for a bbq one evening and put our money in the honesty box. We also booked a trip with Dan on his boat 'Raptor' as part of a 1.5 hour tour and managed to find seals and puffins. Not for the faint hearted as its a bumpy trip and put on your waterproofs as you will get wet! So impressed by the way of life on the IOS, everyone is so friendly and there are honesty boxes everyone where you can buy goods from the end of people's gardens. Only recommendation for the lodge would be a large and medium towel per person instead of a medium and small but otherwise absolutely amazing. Hoping to return sometime next year.

The lodges at Peninnis Farm on St Marys leave you wanted for nothing. Two bedrooms, shower room and kitchen/ lounger area. Furnished to a high standard and everything is catered for, including towels for the shower and the beach.||The location has idyllic views from the farm and as you walk down the lane to Peninnis Head. Five minutes walk to the town centre or take the scenic route to both Hugh Town and Old Town. Fresh produce available to buy on the farm. ||Zenna and Dan are superb hosts.||The Isles of Scilly are one of the UK's best kept secrets.

Beautifully built lodges on a farm, a great location on St Mary's. We were there while the weather wasn't great which meant we didn't get a chance to make use of the outside but it was still great. I was worried there would be a lack of privacy but that was definitely not a problem. Very well equipped too (a knife sharpener was the only thing I though it could do with but that's being very picky). Great for kids (babies to teens). Would recommend.
