Peninsula Airlie Beach

Our stay at Peninsula Airlie Beach was nothing short of exceptional. Located right on the waterfront at the quiet end of town, the property offers breathtaking views over the marina and out to the Coral Sea — perfect for sunrise coffees or sunset drinks on the balcony. The apartment was spacious, modern, and immaculately clean, with all the comforts of home and then some. The full kitchen, laundry facilities, and open-plan living space made it ideal for a longer stay. We especially loved the private balcony overlooking the yachts — it felt like our own slice of paradise. The location is peaceful yet still within walking distance (or a short drive) to the main street, restaurants, and lagoon. The secure parking and well-maintained grounds added to the overall sense of comfort and quality. Management are super friendly and helpful, making check-in smooth and offering great local recommendations. If you’re looking for luxury, space, and serenity in Airlie Beach, Peninsula is a top-tier choice. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! We have stayed twice in 6 months! We love it...

Perfect from the moment I booked to when we sadly had to leave.|Fran & Paul are the best hosts. They are friendly and nothing is too much trouble.|The apartment had the most amazing views and in a perfect position for some peace & quiet away from the main street of Airlie. Great walks, cafes, restaurants & bars just a short distance from your door along the boardwalk.|The apartment was spotlessly clean, with generous provisions and a really comfortable bed.|We will definitely stay again when we next visit Airlie Beach.

From the moment we met Paul and Fran we knew were were in the best of hands for our 3 week holiday at Peninsula Airlie. |Nothing was ever too much trouble; from booking our excursions to providing us with whatever we needed to make sure our stay was a comfortable one. Their knowledge of the local area and all the activities on offer by the various providers was amazing. Restaurant recommendations were also superb.|Our room was a little tired and in need of a refresh but was super clean. |Peninsula Airlie is a well maintained complex with amazing views. It is an easy walk into the shops and right on the boardwalk for picturesque walks.|We felt very safe in a gated complex with undercover parking and on site reception available day and night.|We loved it so much we have booked again for next year.

These lovely apartments are in a great spot - the view from the balcony is magnificent! Its an enjoyable (mostly flat) 15-20 mins walk around the waterfront from Airlie Beach main street and shops and there are several nice places to eat and drink nearby. The Apartments are clean, spacious and well equipped and also walking distance from Coles Cannonvale for supplies. The hosts (Fran and Paul) are such lovely people who could not do enough for us- all their awards are well deserved! We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again.

We've stayed at Peninsula Apartments many times, and we can highly recommend it! Why do we keep going back? The location, being so close to the water, is really special. The apartments are spacious and modern. It's quiet, being right on the point, there's no traffic. The onsite hosts are super friendly and helpful. Some of the apartments could do with a little more TLC to keep their 5 star rating, and that's probably just us being particular, but the other pluses balance this out. We are already longing to return!

A big thank you to Fran and Paul for making our holiday so special! We arrived late in the evening and Fran was there outside office hours to check us in; she didn’t rush at all, taking time to show us our fabulous apartment and answering all our questions and giving us a list of eateries, even calling a cab for us so we could grab a bite before it got too late. During our stay, she went out of her way to make sure our stay was most enjoyable and trouble free and she was above and beyond in achieving that. We had great views from all bedrooms and the living room in the beautiful, clean apartment and we loved the location - it’s peaceful at night yet easy walking distance to everything Airlie Beach has to offer. We’ll definitely stay there again next time we visit the Whitsundays!

We just had a great 7 night family holiday at the Peninsula. Fran was great from assisting with transfers before our stay as well as booking activities for the family to do whilst in Airlie Beach. The apartment overlooked the marina and had everything we needed and more. Great location and a great spot for a group or family stay.

From the moment we walked in, the panoramic views of the marina and Coral Sea took our breath away. We stayed for 5 amazing nights and our penthouse apartment was pure luxury – spacious, spotless and beautifully styled, with every comfort thoughtfully included. The huge balcony was our favourite spot for morning coffees and sunset drinks.|Peaceful, private and perfectly positioned – just minutes to restaurants, yet tucked away enough to feel like your own slice of paradise. Thank you to Francine and Paul for everything and also for the thoughtful gift for my daughter’s 26th birthday – it truly made our stay extra special! 5 stars aren’t enough – we’ll be back in a heartbeat!
