My first time here, I ordered a small matcha latte. It doesn't come sweet, so if you want that, ask for simple syrup or honey. They also offer milk alternatives. As far as the matcha goes, it was okay - not the best I've ever had but for $4.65, I'm not mad at it. I'll have to come back to try out the actual coffee.
Coffee shop has a wide balcony area where folks can sit outside and look at the river. Saw quite a few folks working on laptops or sitting around chatting. Inside, there is a mix of individual and group seating. I could imagine this being a great "third place" during the summer and fall seasons.
I had no issues connecting to the WiFi, and I appreciated the access to the outdoors.
Things to know before you come: 1) parking is limited in the front and in the back. If you want to park on the street, you'll be walking across the bridge a bit and you'll be paying for street parking.
2) not a ton of easily accessible outlets if you're trying to sit and work, so come with your laptop charged.
3) if you sit in the back area, be aware that there is an AC vent that directly flows into the middle of the space. If you get cold easily, you may want to bring a sweater. I think this mostly reflects the fact that my first visit is happening in August, and on a day in August where it is in the 60s. In the same space, there is also a big screen tv that had ESPN on during the time I was there. It wasn't loud but I don't know that having continual ESPN fits the whole coffee shop by the river vibe.
All in all, if the weather is nice and you've got a book to read and want to be close to nature, this is your spot.
