Peninsula International Hotel Suva

I recently stayed at Hotel Peninsula, and while the experience was generally pleasant, there were a few areas that could be improved. One of the key concerns was the parking space, which was quite limited. Although parking is available in front of the hotel, it is shared with both sides of a busy road. This not only made parking a bit challenging but also contributed to constant noise from passing vehicles, which might be disruptive for some guests. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff at the reception were friendly and welcoming. However, I noticed that the reception area does not have air conditioning, which made it feel warm and less comfortable, especially during hot weather. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. Housekeeping did a great job of keeping the space tidy, and the amenities were decent for the price. One major drawback was the elevator, which is quite old and slow. Guests staying on higher floors might find it inconvenient, especially if they have heavy luggage. Overall, Hotel Peninsula offers a decent stay with comfortable rooms and courteous staff, but improvements in parking management, noise reduction, and facility upgrades—such as modernizing the lift and adding air conditioning in the reception—would make the experience even better. If you're looking for a well-located hotel and can manage the minor inconveniences, this is still a reasonable choice.

Room did not had good lighting! Not everyone likes warm lighting Breakfast was like only milk and some leftover bread Paid over $200 for the room with breakfast The person at kitchen or dining area have me Weired faced maybe she only loves to serve white clients nicely Truly disappointed!

Stayed at the International hotel from 11-14th of Feb, 2025 on a work assignment. This was my second time this year, my first was in January where I was assigned a deluxe room. This trip, I was given a single room which was clean. Food served at the restaurant was good and waiting time was better than my experience at other establishments. Location was central as my walks around Suva's captured most of the capital's iconic spots. While checking out, I forgot to pack some valuables from the room I occupied and only found out when I got home. I contacted the reservations team (Ms Mereia) who managed to find it and retrieve it on Monday 17th Feb, 2025. I'm so thankful for the team and their great help, as some of those items were brand new and some I've collected from my extensive travels. I look forward to be accommodated again at the hotel.

Ok well catered for despite being small and tasty food with great view of ocean. However, the staffs weren't upah to what they said, they changed their topic on calls vs f2f conversation and misinformed the price.

We got there then somehow because I looked like a Fijian I was promptly sent to this bedroom which after a few minutes went to have a shower and suddenly water was coming off the upper ceiling .... probably almost electrocuted asked for another and almost told off ... :-( .. later was transferred to another better room which was already being cooled ready which made me think that .. this room prepared for me and then somehow given another ... please treat your own people the same way you would treat expats or strangers ... we spent big money and money does not differentiate.

Rooms are in good condition, but not taking another visit to this hotel. This was my 4th time there. Every time I stayed I had to change room late nights coz first time it had bed bugs, second time the ac issues, third time the ac leaking wetting the bed and the 4th time it had this weird kinda loud noise coming which could beared. So every experience there was a frustrating one

The hotel location is very convenient with nearby shopping centres and Coty facilities a short taxi away. Rooms were cozy, however, bathroom doors are too narrow. Overall, great hotel and service
