"Comedic Magic at Rio Penn & Teller is one of the longest running shows in Las Vegas , and these guys have been cracking up audiences with their antics at Rio Las Vegas for the entire tenure of their run. Penn & Teller is a comedic magic show featuring the boisterous Penn Jillette and the petite Teller, who doesn't speak a word throughout the performance. There are a few magic shows in Las Vegas, but this is one of the best because there's always something going on that takes audience members by surprise. One of the most interesting tricks happens when Penn has you believing that you're getting an insider's peek on how a particular magic trick works. Don't blink or your sure to miss something when you watch Penn & Teller. By AFAR Traveler , AFAR Local Expert"

11 Best Shows to See in Las Vegas | Condé Nast Traveler

"Penn and Teller is the longest-running magic show in town and though their act is well-honed, it's never boring. Penn is the talker, his schtick is sarcasm (occasionally sounding off on politics and religion), while mute Teller is the performer. The duo like to let their audiences in on some of the tricks of the magic trade (and put down some of the “showier” magicians in town) but their own illusionist stunts will leave you scratching your head." - Juliana Shallcross

Huge fan of P&T, and this was the first show i booked once tickets to Vegas were confirmed. I was so excited for this show, but I was left disappointed. The act is tired, so if you are expecting some of the tricks they do at the end of 'Fool Us', you also will be disappointed. Penn is an amazing stage presence, good humour throughout, and Teller was just Teller. I had seen a lot of the tricks before, that's not bad, but they were average tricks at best. The finale with 'the elephant' just made me think of magic i had seen in the 80s. It breaks my heart not to be singing praises here, but it was simply an ok show. It was great to see P&T live, plus the jazz band before the act. You may enjoy this, so do give it a try if you also are a fan.

We booked the middle front section, 4th row and had an absolute blast! I've watched fool us as well as some of their travel documentaries from years ago and was so happy to see them live in person. Penn was playing jazz on the bass with a pianist an hour before the show started and that was such a nice thing outside of the show. The performances and tricks done were so entertaining and they love pulling the audiences into their acts (myself included!). You can really tell they enjoy doing what they do and are really skilled at it. My only regret was not seeing them sooner as I don't know how long they will keep this up in the future! I highly recommend booking a couple months in advance to secure prime seats.

Penn & Teller, one of the longest-running shows on the Strip, is still incredibly entertaining! The act is full of audience participation and engaging moments, with magic tricks that keep everyone laughing. The stage is massive, and with the video screens, there's truly not a bad seat in the house. Highly recommend for a fun night out!

I think Penn and Teller are amazing magicians and comedians. Seeing them in person was a dream come true. Best of all I got to go on stage and participate in a magic trick. They had a lot of audience participation, which made the show extra cool. This show is absolutely worth attending. It’s my favorite show I’ve ever seen in Vegas. I would recommend getting the closest seats you can but if you’re further away, they do have screens so you can see everything.

Penn and Teller have been the best at what they do since the 1970s. 2024 is no exception. I had second row seats so it was close enough to see every movement and I could not tell how they did any of their amazing feats. Funny, informative, entertaining they have it all. I got there about 30 minutes early and there was a jazz duet playing on one side of the stage. Then on bass was none other than Penn Gillette himself. Simply amazing

Overall it was great! Big finale! The only downside we found is that they dedicate a good amount of time to public participation which felt like it took most of the show’s time, so the number of tricks is limited. They were great, of course, we just wanted to see more of them!

The new show travelled to Australia where we were left...bored. Half the show was Penn talking(albeit so fast he was difficult to understand) and the other half was a few tricks that would have only wowed at a children's birthday party. Card and handkerchief tricks are honestly less entertaining than the magic i see from street performers. From two of the world's best magicians I expected so much more. The show just felt so tired and old. Also AI art for your backdrops??? Are you kidding? You can't pay an actual artist? AI Art takes jobs from actual human artists, designers, illustrators, and uses their work without their consent or compensation to create what it calls “new work". Don't be cheap.

I booked a show with them on my first trip to Vegas with my family(husband and 2 teenage boys), looking at how popular they seem to be. But now I regret it coz it felt like I was attending a magic show at a kids birthday party. They started the show by badmouthing Cirque du soleil which is absolutely unnecessary and of poor taste. They then proceeded to do a few magic tricks like a few common card tricks, cutting cloth trick, some psychic magic and a couple others, with a lot of time fillers and pointless conversations. Totally regret it!
