Don‘t go there until building works next door have finished. They started hammering at 8.15 in the morning. Avoid hot periods. No aircon. |The ladies could pay some more attention to detail. The content of my cushion was in pieces. |Three stars because of location and the garden. Otherwise less.

Don't be put off by the external appearance, this is a lovely friendly place to stay in a stylish old house with an attractive garden. We stayed 3 nights in one of the garden rooms which was more than adequate and enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the terrace provided by the very friendly Fatima. All staff are really friendly and helpful. The location is on the northern edge of the central area with shops, restaurants and a supermarket nearby. It is a bit of a walk to the river - downhill going but uphill on way back! we would certainly stay again.

Lovely garden rooms in good location for central Porto. Friendly helpful and knowledgeable staff. Nice breakfast buffet. Stairs to garden rooms not for the disabled. Great restaurant Emotivo around the corner. Retro lounge area fir the baby boomers.

A hidden gem in porto. A place to rest and relax, great and helpfull service and people. Rooms in the garden are recommended. Very nice breakfast with a lot of choice. We will book this again on our next journey!

This place is tremendous. We had a huge room on the street side for two adults and a child and we loved looking down on the cobblestones watching the world go by. This location is not overrun by tourists but you can walk to everywhere from here. Staff were delightful and the breakfast in the garden a highlight. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Nice pensao in an older, well-maintained building on a quiet street within easy walking distance of the center. The propietor is very nice and very helpful, our room was spacious and comfortable, and there is a good breakfast in a pleasant room (or in the garden if the weather is nice). There are quite a few stairs, particularly if you are in a room on one of the upper floors, so if mobility is a concern this would be an issue.

Wow!! My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay at Pensao Favorita. All of the ladies who work here are extremely kind. We tried helping them out a couple times (like bringing our dishes back to the kitchen after breakfast), but they stopped us right away, saying we are on vacation and need to relax. Our room (#6) was large with a nice balcony (but the bathroom *could* use a renovation - it’s just a bit old). The whole hotel is actually beautiful. And what can I say about the garden! Lush, quiet, the perfect place to hang out with a glass of wine or eat breakfast in the morning.

It was my home away from home! I stayed at Favorita for a month and found the hotel perfectly suited for my needs. The hotel is located in a gorgeous old building right in the heart of the Old Town, in walking distance to all the famous sites of the city. Extraordinary place to stay when you are in Porto. Best location Best service Most beautiful building, garden. Could not be better decorated. The rooms are like private apartments. It is not like staying in a conventional hotel, but instead being a guest in the most beautiful house ever.

I got invited there as the owners are friends with one onf my clients. I stayed for 4 days while i was working in Porto. everything in this charming little hotel is perfect and crafted with care. The retro decoration is pure eye candy and the owners have been super helpfull everytime we needed them. Will definitely come back if i visit Porto again.
