Such a wonderful place, would recommend! Already am recommending to friends who want to visit Porto. The room was exactly as described, we stayed during quite a stormy time and although it wasn't super cold outside, the hotel was kept so nice and toasty, which we appreciated. The downstairs lounge is like a cozy stylish living room, I've never had a desire to hang out in any accommodation foyer until now. The furniture so stylish and great and the breakfast an absolute delight! On the last day our host had just made a cake for no reason it seemed and it was delicious! Truly a place where you can see the human touch. On the street that the hotel is on is an amazing record/book shop, an illustration art gallery/shop, a Brilliant wine bar (with delicious food as well) and the wine bars sister pizza spot. We felt bad not going further from the hotel some nights for dinner, but an amazing location for restaurants, vintage shopping and just strolling around is but a 10 minute walk away. 10/10 would recommend!

From the first email inquiring about room availability, I felt I had found someplace extraordinary to stay while in Porto. As soon as I opened the door to my room, I knew we had found a gem. This is a special place, it is not modern and you need to walk up the stairs to your room, however the people that work there exude joy and help you discover the best Porto has to offer. Waking up and having a delicious fresh breakfast in the garden is a great way to start the day. The location is ideal- you’re close to all the sights but away from the noise and crowds. The restaurants nearby are top notch and so are the art galleries. Pensão Favorita is such a magical place, I worry about giving it this well deserved review- they might not have a room for us the next time we visit Porto if it’s no longer a secret:)

Everything about our stay was excellent, including the comfort and cleanliness of the room and the breakfast. The rooms are quite large by European standards. The BNB is thoughtfully decorated, and the garden is an oasis from the buzz of the city. We highly recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed!

We had a wonderful stay here. The property is very quiet and beautiful maintained with large plants. There are multiple gathering spaces to rest and hang out and listen to music. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff was very attentive and kind.

This place is a gem. This unassuming b&b is tucked away in a residential neighborhood just outside the heavy touristy areas but still a short walk from eveythjng. Pensão Favorita is stylish, thoughtfully designed and comfortable, with an delicious breakfast and super accommodating staff. The garden is a huge bonus, and a lovely spot to relax. The only watch out is if you're in room 5, 6 or 7, be prepared for a 4 story walk up. Kinda brutal if you have heavy bags or have been walking all day around the city! Otherwise, this place is excellent.

My husband and I recently stayed at Pensão Favorita while on a trip around Portugal, and it was easily our favorite hotel out of all the ones we stayed. Beautiful place, friendly and helpful staff, and great location near so many great art galleries, shops, and restaurants.

Pensao Favorita made a perfect base to explore Porto - convenient, walking distance to everything in the city and yet away from the hustle and bustle, tucked away on a quiet road and with it's own garden. The old house is really elegant, there are also newer garden rooms with small outdoor space (we had one of these, very spacious). The staff were really friendly and helpful, with lots of tips of what to see and do. The garden/patio area is a real bonus. Varied buffet breakfast was provided, drinks from a limited bar could be ordered and port was provided on a help yourself basis. A really friendly small hotel, close to the centre but quiet; would thoroughly recommend, we would return!

This is a low-key pension that does everything very well. The staff are considerate, friendly and very helpful. They create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Contributing to the atmosphere is a lovely green garden where guests can relax or eat breakfast. The breakfast has a variety of fresh fruits and breads. It is extremely clean and quiet. The location is excellent.

Extraordinary place to stay when you are in Porto. Best location Best service Most beautiful building, garden. Could not be better decorated. The rooms are like private apartments. It is not like staying in a conventional hotel, but instead being a guest in the most beautiful house ever.

I got invited there as the owners are friends with one onf my clients. I stayed for 4 days while i was working in Porto. everything in this charming little hotel is perfect and crafted with care. The retro decoration is pure eye candy and the owners have been super helpfull everytime we needed them. Will definitely come back if i visit Porto again.
