I made a reservation for one night. The booking process was already a bit strange and I didn't know whether to pay on the spot or to somehow rip it off in advance. Anyway A few hours before checking in they cancelled my reservation and gave me no reason, just no customer service, perfect accommodation if you want to try being homeless in a strange city.

Overall a lovely quirky little place , spotlessly clean and a great location for us travelling back from the airport the following day !!! We arrived just in time for check in , having travelled from Barcelona and not realising the train was 1h 40, we thought we had the high speed express so double check !!! As others have commented not a particularly warm welcome from the owner .|Given a room on 4th floor with my children ,good exercise for us BUT OMG no air conditioning !!!!!! This along with the church bells every half hour means we had very little sleep. The rooms were like a furnace and so uncomfortable. Due to this I would not return to this establishment which is a shame . I will defcome back to Girona as its beautiful and I wish I had more time , but will book an air conditioned hotel next time .

We stayed here for two nights. |It is right in the Old Town which was an ideal location. Right next door to a convenience store and there are plenty of restaurants round about you (been told to avoid La Rambla for food - as its a tourist trap)|The room was basic - a fan, vanity, double bed. That's all you need if you don't plan to stay in the hotel all day - why would you? You're on holiday! |We stayed in a room with a shared bathroom - it was clean and there were plenty of shower mats so you don't need to worry about sharing them with others. |If you are looking for somewhere budget friendly, a decent owner/receptionist, and right in the centre - this is the place.|(No elevators so be prepared to walk up 4 flights of stairs - not complaining after eating and drinking all day!)

Great location in the old town, right by the main shopping/dining street. Convenience store on the ground floor is also a big plus. The room was spacious, well-maintained and clean, with daily maintenance. We had a full ensuite bathroom. The only downside is that our double bed was actually two separate single beds, which slid apart when you tried to cuddle. Be aware that there is no elevator, and rooms start on the third floor.

Stayed here for 1 night in a twin room with my son as we were watching Girona FC whilst on a mini break. I have to say that some of the previous reviews are extremely unfair as this is a great little place. Yes you have to confirm what time you are arriving to the owner beforehand as reception is only open between 0900 hours and 1900 hours, if you are arriving after 7pm then stay somewhere else!! Our room was on the 3rd floor (reception 2nd floor) and was extremely clean with its own private bathroom. Tea and coffee were also provided in the room. Our room had a small balcony that looked into the main street below, which was full of hustle and bustle. Hotel is situated in the middle of the old town and within walking distance of all the main sights. It doesn't offer breakfast but plenty of cafes close by for this. Our flight home wasn't until the evening but the owner kindly kept our bags for us all day to save us having to walk around with them. All in all a great hotel in the middle of Girona!!

The only hotel ever that's requested arrival time almost a month before arrival. I received an informative message about the reception opening times and about bicycles not being allowed. I did not reply. Then booking. Com informed that the hotel had marked my MasterCard as invalid payment method. I messaged the hotel saying I'd added the payment card again and got a reply saying without the requested information "we cancel reservation." I once again pointed out I was talking about the payment card and the hotel just started to talk about check-in times. Eventual I got a sassy reply about how we shouldn't complicate life. Having worked in hotels, I know hotels have reception opening times. It is normal to inform the hotel if you'd be checking in OUTSIDE of the check-in times. As a hotel you've informed me of the reception opening hours, I expect those to be the hours you follow. Paying customers should not accommodate the hotel's needs for flexible hours.

I stayed here with my partner for 3 nights. The location is excellent. The room is compact but that was expected. The beds were comfy. I wish there was small bottle of shampoo, body wash and toothpaste provided by the establishment so we wouldn't have to spend a lot of money buying big bottles and tubes of it just to leave it behind because we do not have check-in luggage. The room is very much in the centre of the buzzing night life and therefore it can be loud at night and for some reason, there is church bells going off in the background for what it seemed like every ten minutes. I also wish they would have had a fan in their room bcus the night are REALLY HOT and we sweat ourselves to sleep. Overall, good stay, things can be improved. Just not the best if you actually wanna sleep, but the location beats the sleep in my opinion.

The owner is very rude, in my opinion. He said in a very unfriendly way that people who are not registered are not allowed to go upstairs, even if you're helping somebody or whatever. I'd recommend to pay more but go somewhere else. The bed was hard and the room was the opposite of cozy. There are more options a little bit away, but it's worth it.
