This place deserves a top rating mainly for four reasons. First: location, which to visit historic Vienna is unbeatable, being a few steps from most of the key places. Second, the personnel, which is very nice. Third, the room is big and comfortable. Fourth, it is very quiet at nght. I would offer to the owners a few suggeszions. First, to have freeze-dried coffee available at all times. Second, to show more prominently a telephone number that could be reached in the case of an emergency. Third, the toilet flushing should be improved. These details, however, did not spoil a wonderful experience: bravo!

Very nice rooms! Unbeatable location! Great beds! Great price! On the other hand, water pressure was somewhat lackluster and we needed millimeter precision to get correct shower temperature, you can't throw toilet paper in the toilet (I guess we'll do most of that business somewhere else as we don't want to live with *those remains*). Overall great place to stay though! Just be aware of the particularities. If we were offered this room at this price again, we'd have a hard time turning it down!

What is hidden gem off the beaten path. The breakfast was simply amazing. Sometimes with B&Bs the continental breakfast is simply a few rolls. This had yogurts, cereals, cheese, wonderful, coffee, and a lovely selection of different types of bread, fresh from the oven. The bed was nice and comfortable the Wi-Fi quick, a great place everything within walking distance. The directions were very clear on how to get in. Staff was friendly can’t beat this place!

The room had a strong humidity odour. Or maybe it was coming from the pipes in the toilet. You can't throw any toilet paper in the toilet as it can get clogged and you fill be fined if that happens. Room didn't have windows that looked to the street. There's no one there after midday. They give you instructions and send you a video so you know what to do to get your keys. Breakfast was included but you were supposed to take it in your room as there's no dining room but with the odour that was out of the question. We did sent a message since there was no one there, asking if it was possible to get another room but we didn't get any answer. The only positive is the location. Right in the historical center.

The location and ease of entry was excellent. However, the photos I saw to do my booking showed a bathtub and I was disappointed to find it was only a working shower. Breakfast was a bit limited for us as we are vegetarians, and I didn't like that we had to eat it on our room. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Don't think we will book it again though as I do like my baths after a long day of walking.

Location is central and very near StephanPlatz. This is a plus. We arrived at main train station from Salzburg and rode U-bahn to StephanPlatz, and then a short walk to the hotel. On arrival, don't think (like we did) that the street sign pointing across the street means the hotel is on the opposite side (?). Staff was courteous. Room was spacious by european standards and for cost. Beware, the hotel has plumbing issues and forbids flushing anything down toilet. You must place toilet paper in waste basket for a true third-world type experience. Signs warn of a 200EU fine if toilet is clogged! Shower water temperature took long time to heat up and fluctuated throughout. Lots of loud conversation noise outside throughout evening prevented us from opening window. Construction workers outside are noisy and also start early. Breakfast was good.

Beautiful hotel with very modern rooms and a full tub in our rooms. After two weeks of travel the beds here were heavenly. Ours has a memory foam topper and is extremely comfortable. Great location near the museums and parks. And they have AC! I personally like having breakfast in our room on the little breakfast bar on the end of the bed.

We were welcomed by the warm and friendly, Kathrine at the door! There is a good breakfast with warm pastries and juice that you gather and take to your room to enjoy. Kathrine was very helpful in directing us to various sites to visit. The rooms are quiet and have great blackout curtains! ||||Use the hotel for getting to and from the hotel and don’t get overcharged for a taxi to the Pension!
