"This guest house offers rooms and apartments in the trendy Prenzlauer Berg and Mitte districts of Berlin. It enjoys excellent public transport connections. The spacious rooms of Pension Absolut Berlin are located in a beautiful 19th-century residential building. It is just a 5-minute walk from the Schönhauser Allee station, and the many nearby bars, cafés and restaurants. The apartments are fully equipped with a bathroom and kitchen, and are all situated within easy walking distance of Pension Absolut. Guests are also welcome to use the Absolut's shared kitchen. Ordered a room at 19:00, got our password to the hotel and room at 21:00. Rooms and appliances were very clean. Bathroom is shared but there are three enclosed cabins with a sink and basic ammenies, so there is enough privacy Overall great value for money, nice staff and very clean. Would recommend

Tired of Airbnb and their dubious claims to being clean and not really wanting to stay in a hotel, I thought I would try Pension Absolut Berlin as a middle ground. What a great place to stay: lovely rooms that are spotlessly clean, great location for East Berlin with loads of great places to eat and excellent transport links. We had are own bathroom with a great shower and the use of a well equipped communal kitchen. The staff were friendly and super helpful. Would highly recommend.

Everything looked new, modern and was very clean. Self check in worked like a charm. Cosy atmosphere in a great neighbourhood with good public transport connections, a couple supermarkets and many restaurants nearby. Bed was quite firm but comfortable and both sides had a night stand, reading light and power outlets! Windows open to let some fresh air in. And the price can’t be beat. Shared kitchen and bathroom were very clean as well, plenty of toilets and showers for the number of rooms. What would make it even better? A fan - it was quite warm, the building is insulated well and on the ground floor so AC is not necessary but a small fan would be great. And the pillows were way too soft but that is also personal preference.

This is now my second time staying here and I really really liked this place. What really stands out is that its super super clean. Everything's absolutely spotless! Rooms are well equipped and the price is reasonable too. The shared kitchen is great if you need coffee/tea and there's even cutlery in case you need it. The self check in works really great too. I think the only thing that can be improved is maybe the internet connection which I found to be a bit weak during both my stays. But it's not thaat bad. Apart from that everything's great! I will be booking them for all my work trips in the future.

Very friendly staff, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are communal, but everything, including showers, are privately separated from each other. U and S bahn connection to the centre is great. The kitchen is a little bit small, but had all necessary amenities, except a stove.

This is a pension hotel that offers various accommodation alternatives. The accommodation we chose was a room with an en-suite bathroom. Clean and well presented, with everything you want, comfortable . Perfect location ,so affordable.Staff so helpful.

This place was lovely. Room was really nice, and it was fairly easy to get about and do good things. It’s not the most central place but there’s still plenty to get around. We had a lovely time here and would recommend. |The showers are shared and we’re quite nice. Overall the whole place was a good thumbs up. Happy days

Stayed here for four nights in June. The room was very spacious and the decor/furniture was really nice. The window opened wide to allow enough air in to stay cool in the heatwave. The host honestly couldn't have been nicer, she let us check in early as the room was already ready. The only real issue with the rooms was the pillows are practically non-existent, I had to put several items of clothing under the pillow to make it somewhat substantial and perhaps the TV could be a little bigger as it is very small. But to be fair you dont go on holiday to watch TV so thats not really a big issue. Was slightly apprehensive about the shared bathroom facilities but this was never an issue. Never had to queue or wait. There are three separate rooms essentially with a toilet, sink and shower in each so it does not feel like public toilets. The hotel is within easy reach of the Sbahn, Ubahn and the metro. The location is perfect, close to bars and cafes, public transport and the Schonhauser Alle Arcaden, which is a small shopping centre. So its far enough out of the city that noise at night isnt an issue, but its close enough to get into the city centre in 20mins. Would stay again
