A lovely little hotel in Ribadesella, charmingly perched on several levels. My room was on the top floor, like an attic, but I never suffered from the heat and I spent very little time in the house. The windows were skylights, so they had to be closed in case of rain. Everything was very nice and clean, with cleaning once a day. The owners have a restaurant on the street level for meals and breakfast, which also serves as the reception. Be prepared for a lot of steep stairs to get to your room. The walls may be a bit thin, so you can hear the neighbors talking. Overall, very good considering the price!!! Ribadesella is very nice!

We stayed late April 2025 on the Camino. Really friendly reception. Two of us reserved single rooms, we got a single and a twin. Single was tiny, twin much larger. Immaculately clean, everything new and in perfect order, can't recommend it highly enough.

Fair Basic and clean, nothing to highlight Could be a bit confusing to find and check in after 7pm, rooms were ok although a bit cold overnight. Affordable if you stay off season

Don’t let the name “pension” throw you off. The rooms are cozy, comfortable and clean, the bathrooms spacious and also very clean. Heating is perfect for winter days. In reading other reviews, I wonder if there are major differences between rooms, but in our case, we rented two that were just perfect. The restaurant below was closed so we can’t comment on the noise or smell, but I suggest you ask before booking if you are sensitive to that.

The pictures are very misleading. The rooms are professional photographed with lots of artificial lighting, but in reality they are very stuffy and dark. The blankets are very used and thin. Rooms 1-4 are directly on the streets or in the welcoming area, so it’s always loud. The bathrooms you see on the pictures on booking and etc. are not the ones you get, rooms 1-4 have small smelly bathrooms with no real door.

I’ve had a good night here - nice an clean room, fair price. Downside as mentioned by previous reviewers I ended up in the room towards the patio… Didn’t bother me to much tho, the heater is adjustable + I had the window open during the night just a crack hence I need fresh air when sleeping. Due to this I was woken a couple of times tho when a generator all of a sudden started …turns off after a couple minutes but it certainly is a noticeable noise. There weren’t many people staying so apart from that it was quiet. Location is great, my room was clean so all good.

A lovely small Pensión. My room was a single with a small bed and a good-sized bath. It was cozy and comfortable. The only downside was the window opened next to an entrance, and I wasn't comfortable leaving it open. No hay problemo, but if this is a worry for you, confirm your room location when booking. I still recommend this place.

A really unique little hotel, set over various homes and gardens - the owner told us the house we stayed in was her grandparents. The facilities were excellent, exactly what we needed after a long day cycling. And Ribadesella itself was a huge highlight of the Camino del Norte for us ❤️
