Pensión Bellavista

Classed as a hostel rather than a hotel, Pension Bellavista was very comfortable and clean. Our room was lovely with an enormous bed and en suite shower room. The street was quiet and a couple of minutes walk to the beach and cafes and restaurants. There was a variety of seating on a quiet terrace. Also a shared kitchenette with kettle, microwave, fridge and equipped with crockery and other utensils. You could fill your water bottle up at the water dispenser for a donation that would help Cats Protection charity. Rescue cats and dogs are important to the owner but the place didn’t feel overrun with them. We didn’t visit the vegan restaurant adjoining but it seemed a popular spot.

Lovely pension as long as you like dogs and cats :) Very friendly and clean with free water top ups and a great vegan restaurant next door. No AC but fans in the rooms.

Spent a couple of nights there with my mum. We received a warm welcome and felt very comfortable during our whole stay. The concept of helping animals and reducing waste is very beautiful. The location of this property is pretty amazing as well. We would highly recommend it!

I am very surprised this is categorised as a one-star hotel. The staff is amazing, the rooms are great, and there is a beautiful restaurant just next door. They even helped me when I had a flat tyre for my bicycle. I would definitely go here again when I visit the Port de Pollenca.

All good! I would stay again. Friendly staff, free drinking water. Close to the beach and harbor, a beautiful but very expensive vegan/vegetarian restaurant is next door. Special kudos for the many rescued animals :-) Comfortable room, beautiful terrace with clothing lines. The kitchen is rather tiny, don't expect to be able to cook big meals there.

This place was great for what you pay. The rooms are simple but clean with large bathrooms. My friends and I shared a triple room and really enjoyed our stay. The terrace for the guests is really nice as well. The hosts were great, we checked in early at around 12pm and on our last day we left our bags at the hotel till around 6pm at no extra cost! They also have a water cooler to fill your bottles at which was super helpful. Would love to stay here again :)

I stayed 3 nights in september - my second time in this lovely and cozy place. The host Coloma is a very friendly and caring person and I really like the relaxed atmosphere in the pension. This time I had a room with balcony facing the street. It was a little bigger than the one I had 2 years ago when my room was facing the big terrace. But both rooms are nice. You get 20 procent in discount if you have breakfast in the very good vegetarian restaurant next door. I will be back :-)

Stopped for a 5 night break, communication before hand was excellent, we new what to expect from previous reviews , location is key here , a minute walk to the harbour and beach, lots of fabulous restaurants within a minute walk, we had breakfast there it was amazing, met the cats/ dogs that didn’t bother us they were loved and well looked after, the owners were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. The rooms are basic but had everything you needed. The only down side was the temp of the rooms we new it didn’t have air con so took fans but this didn’t help it was absolutely boiling in the room, would go again definitely but maybe early or late season and take my own mini air con !
