Pensión Blanca B & B

This accommodation was well located but, it was like having a room in someone's home. We arrived back after checking in earlier in the day to find the common area we had to cross to access our room full of people who were preparing a communal meal in the area outside our room. Also, this location apparently offers breakfast (not offered with our booking) that was noisily eaten - lots of loud chatting - outside our room. We could also hear occupants in next room talking. Wifi was poor. This was supposed to be a rest day for us on Camino but, not as expected.

A small guesthouse, right within the city center of León. The rooms are a bit small, but they are clean and they include all the basic features - internal bathroom included. Reasonable prices, breakfast is also included. I really much appreciated the fruit basket available to guests all day in the living/dining room.

The rooms are very, very noisy. It's impossible to rest. They don't have space to store luggage, and we had to find a place in the city while it was raining and pay for it. Unpleasant service. Even though it's in the city center, it's not worth it.

Located in an an apartment block in a good location and all of the sights were within an easy walk. ||||Friendly, helpful host who gave us a great insight into the city.||||The room was a good size for a city centre. It was a bit scruffy, but to be expected for the price we paid.||||We didn't bother having the breakfast, which was available for a supplement.

Great stay in clean small room. Location is good close to everything. Next door is a top notch Alberge and restaurant. I would recommend and personally return in a heartbeat. TripAdvisor requires 200 characters but I am out of things to say......

The converted apartments are on the first floor of the building...rooms will all be different. The rooms are clean and functional if a bit dated....bathroom is small and shower cabinet smaller...unable to turn or move. Location is good... 5 minutes from train or bus station ...restaurants and bars abound. Breakfast however is poor....it is set out the night before and offers only bread butter and jam with juice tea or coffee. You serve yourself from the kitchen and take to a communal dining area....so can be quite noisy early in the morning. The hostel is fine for one night though don't understand the very high rating it has....suspect much better value elsewhere

Arrived here today and was warmly welcomed by Blanca the owner. Room is comfortable and clean. Full shared kitchen facility is available with 24 hour access to tea and coffee. Great value for the money.

i believe we should warn other travelers about our experience here. We are an older couple walking the Camino. My husband booked a room here by telephone 4 days in advance. He followed up with an e-mail confirmation. On the day of our intended stay, we shipped a backpack to Casa Blanca which was clearly marked with my husband's name. Also, we called on the day of our arrival, confirming the reservation and letting them know we would be a bit late but we were coming. After walking almost 17 miles, we finally arrived around 5:30. Imagine our surprise when we were told that they had no room for us! I honestly don't know what else we could have done to confirm this reservation. Warning - you better have a backup plan if you book here.
