This was one of the best small hotels we’ve had in years. Easy access via a numeric keypad, well constructed and renovated building, super comfortable beds, and very quiet location. Lots of activity right outside the front door, but after 10pm, it’s very quiet and the double glazing does its job very well. We loved the location, right in old town, easy walking everywhere in town and close to public transit if needed. We want to come back to Bilbao and we’ll stay in the same hotel. Loved it! Oh and our best meal, out of many great meal, was at Rio-Oja.

We stayed two nights in this amazing little hotel. The room was beautiful, clean, and very well appointed. Perfect location to explore Casco Viejo and the riverside. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was worth it alone. Super helpful and communicative staff. We also really enjoyed the glasses in balcony overlooking the street. Would highly recommend.

Situated in the old town, this beautiful small hotel was a real find. Each of the room have a historical movie figure as a theme and are beautifully set up and finished to a very high standard. They have a superb baggage storage facility and excellent entry/exit system. A really enjoyable stay.

We stayed in the Woody Allen apartment in a separate building to the main hotel.||I cannot emphasise how happy we were with our choice. ||Spacious, clean, fully stocked kitchen equipment, quiet (amazing sound proofing windows), fantastic location and the reception desk was responsible and helpful on emails before our stay. ||We were in Bilbao a few weeks earlier and stayed in the five star Radisson - which was much more expensive for a tiny, less clean room where the air con stopped working. This was far better!

We stayed in the Woody Allen apartment which is in a separate building to the hotel with its own entrance. It was better than we expected, extremely well priced, very clean and the staff were helpful and quick to respond on email before our stay. Great location in the old town too. Although it was above a bar, the sound proofing was excellent, two of the bedrooms are set back from the road side anyway down the hallway and it was quiet outside by 11pm too.

Fabulous hotel in the heart of the Old Town. Easy to find although reception on 1st floor and you need a room code to enter the ground floor door. Rooms named after stars of cinema, we had Clint Eastwood. A spacious double on second floor, made into a triple for us, huge bathroom, and a balcony overlooking the street. Beds were so comfortable, power shower plenty of hot water, no noise from street due to double windows. We had a Nespresso machine and asked for a fridge. Staff helpful and kind. Would definitely come back here!

We stayed at the Woody Allen apartment. The apartment was clean and spacious and really well appointed. Very comfortable. The location is superb - literally in the heart of the old town and you step out into a bar area. Walking distance to most Bilbao attractions (25 mins to the Guggenheim). We stayed a Friday and Saturday and it was certainly noisy on the street outside - but sound proofing is pretty good and it all went quiet after midnight - it was not an issue for us. The two interior bedrooms are also quiet. I would recommend for a great convenient location and a really comfortable family stay.

Quirky place in old town. Lovely staff, good communication.|Room was clean, bathroom ok. Mattress was ? Memory foam which we found was like sleeping on a warm marshmallow so not to our liking. We didn’t sleep very well due to noise from room next door, corridor and above. Close to metro/train station and not far from bus stop to airport. Guggenheim walkable, went on train to Guernica. Took metro to Transporter bridge - very interesting and lovely walks by marinas, port and beaches.
